Our 74 year old place needed the tub and tile redone. Hoped it would be a 2 day job. When the ReBath people came in and discovered wood-rot, signs of termites, and insulation thinner than a piece of paper, I knew it would take longer (understandably!). "Sam" (the lead installer) was friendly and you could tell he loved his job. He kept me in the loop on EVERYTHING -- I saw the wood-rot, etc. and it turned out to be A LOT more work! Sam got right to it with his assistants (Juan, Talial, Adriel) and they worked hard. The progress was FANTASTIC -- even the Inspector said so! The job manager "Ryan" visited every day to check the work. It turned out BEAUTIFULLY!! A gorgeous job that will hopefully last another 74 years. Excellent product, tidy work, even, and tight. BEWARE - Sales assoc. quoted $105K to update my bathroom and I would supply the vanity/sink. When he saw the shock on my face he said he can give me some discounts, called his Mgr and said could do it for $80K. I asked for an itemized/cost breakdown, and he sent me a quote with no cost breakdown, just total of $105K - the discounts totaling $79,999.00. I didn't dignify this with an answer. The next week I rec'd call from another Re-bath associate saying he had "Good news" for me. I'm a 77-yr old widow and feel they tried to scam me. Consultation and ordering process took about four hours in home. Price was way too high and within a half hour price came down probably about $10,000 come to find out a couple days later that they could not do some of the so they were supposed to adjust the invoice based on the work that they would not be completing. Unfortunately, it was only a small fraction of what it was itemized to be so I was going to cancel order. Ended up talking to a manager, disappointed with this process. Originally saidit would take 10 to 12 weeks for product to come in and do install. It took over 14 weeks I had to call three times to ask where I stood with my order. On a good note installer Danny was very very good. Only one drawback was a week after completion I went downstairs to a storage area and found a bunch of sawdust where it came through where he must've done the plumbing which was all over my dishes stored in the basement, which was a mess, but other than that, the install went good.. would I use Re-Bath again? Granted there were supply issues that were not ReBath's fault, but it took a long time to get this bath installed. The installation itself took two days. However, directly after they left, the bathtub drain was slow, and the shower door would not stay shut. That was two months ago. On my insistence, after three weeks they called in a plumber to work on the drain. It's been two months and the door is still not fixed. I haven't heard a peep from them at all about the door. I have called a good half-dozen times (prior to them hiring the plumber), and all I ever heard was that whoever was responsible was "out of the office until next week." Horrible company. $20,000 paid in full, the job is not done and everything they installed needs to be fixed or replaced! They will not come back out unless I either pay $3500 more or agree to void my warranty and sign a non disclosure to never talk about my experience, actually it says anyone, in anyway verbal or electronic! Could that be why they have 4+ stars? My toilet isn't bolted to the floor, the shower head isn't strapped, every time we shower you can see the glue lines behind the surround, they hacked up the inside of the vanity and put extra holes in the medicine cabinet. They never installed the closet shelves or doors and I don't have floor trim. The face of the tub falls off because he used 2 hard sides of the Velcro. I was also told if I have another company touch anything it voids my warranty. Now we have come to the point where they will not communicate to me. Everything has to go through their Attorney. These people are Unbelievable. I also came across some ex employees online that said they use subcontractors to do the work and whoever bids the lowest gets the job. Hello, I am very disappointed with this company. They came out to give my elderly mother a quote for her downstairs bathroom. The quote came in serval dollars higher than the other quotes that she received, and that is fine they are entitled to charge what they, however the sale person Alex was very unprofessional. He starting bad mouthing other companies (unprompted) to try and discredit them. I personally had my bathroom redone by Bath Fitters (which is one of the companies that he lied about) and I am so very pleased! Anyway, I just want you to know that I find this to be BAD business if you can't get customers with your product and customer service, then maybe you should rethink your line of work. Shame on you. I dealt with this franchise of Re-Bath starting September 2019 through February 2021. They took a $3,000 deposit from me after refusing to schedule an installation appointment for months (July 2020 - February 2021). It was only after I threatened to cancel the installation altogether that they said I was on the schedule. How convenient. I even showed up to the location in December to talk to Cindy who was incharge of scheduling. The floor associate flat-out lied and said she wasn't there, when minutes later I saw her walk out of the store. Very unprofessional behavior. Admittedly I did take a while sourcing a vanity and toilet. What is interesting is that Cindy mentioned they might have to cut the vanity, and made it sound like this whole ordeal if the plumbing wasn't positioned just right. After renovating the bathroom myself, I've come to realize this claim, and many others she made, are 100% wrong. She also claimed that raw flooring material is sunk cost, and cannot be recovered on other jobs. What a crock. Another important point is that this place only installs cookie-cutter, pre-fabricated shower/bath surrounds. They will not install tile or other higher-end bath materials. I personally thought their selection was limited, especially on flooring. Their "design consultant" was a glorified salesman that just wanted me to sign the contract right then and there. No expertise on aesthetic, or material choice, or what goes with what. Despite the $3,000 these people took from me I saved a ton of money by renovating my bathroom myself. It's not for everyone, but you can save a ton of money by contracting specific jobs, such as tile installation, or floor installation, rather than hire a company to do everything for you. They charge a premium and they know it. TL;DR - These guys provide cookie-cutter remodels at stacked prices. The "design consultants" are nothing more than glorified salesman. You can't get tile or any "premium" material, only the limited selection they offer. Cindy, in particular, was very unprofessional and led me to walk away from $3000. I still think that money was all pocketed, as they could easily use the materials from my build for other jobs or showcases. I do not recommend using this business AT ALL UPDATE - I've also learned that these people delete negative Google reviews! No wonder their rating is so high on that platform. Mark came to my house and quoted me an estimate of $9000. I agreed to that price butased mark if that was the total or would interest be added, he reassured me that that estimate was the total and there were be no interest added. He made the call and the person I talked to mentioned nothing about interest. I went ahead with the install, which josh did a good job, and then talked to service finance and they told me that everyday interest would be added daily and the total I would have to pay was 15,000 dollars. I had to refinance the loan. Please be careful when dealing with the representatives of this company. Get everything in writing and signed. I an sorry I chose this company. Lesson learned. read more

Worst consumer experience of my life. The contract I signed on the sales reps tablet was not what I was emailed later, but I did not have the original because it was only on the tablet. The only reason we remodeled our bathroom was because of a leak, which both the company and contractors who did the work claimed they were not informed of. My entire bathroom is now plastic and after 3 months and $14,000 I am still unable to use my shower. Save yourself the misery and find a reputable contractor instead of a franchisee. read more

First I had ordered a liner to replace the old liner I have over my tub. The sales person came out 5 weeks later I had not heard back from Re-bath on when I was going to be scheduled to have the tub taken out. I asked for a refund. Cindy, the owner apologized and told me the sales rep was fired and this is why I hadn't been scheduled. I asked for a refund and certainly understand turnover so I said I would call to reschedule. I gave them another deposit in June and the owner called me back two weeks ago (end of July) to tell me that I can't have the tub liner pulled out until September 29th at a time when I am working. She said she would call me back to reschedule me for a Saturday. I have not heard back from them in two weeks. I just called to ask for a refund. Also, my previous sales rep called me. Apparently she wasn't fired. I don't want to work with a company that lies to me and cannot communicate. It doesn't seem like this company has their act together. Re-Bath of Troy, MI easily won the bid with its overall design and pricing. Six weeks after signing a go-ahead contract, Re-Bath was onsite and completed the job in one day. My son and I went to the Re- Bath showroom in Troy, MI looking to have our bathtub removed and a walk in shower installed The sales person said this is what the company specializes in and showed us some models in the store of typical installs. I explained I was in a rush since my wife is coming home from rehab shortly and needs this done so she can take a shower. They set an appointment in three days to have a sales rep look at what needs to be done. The sales rep came out and stated they did have some patterns in stock that can get this job done fast. One of the patterns was exactly what we wanted and she said the total job could be done in one day. She drew up a contract and we agreed on a price including various discount coupons with a life time guarentee. She also went over the scope of the work and stated that if there were any jobs cancelled we would be moved into that slot. Guess what, I got a call Friday that Mondays job had been cancelled and we could have that time slot if we wanted it. We took it. The crew was at our house at 8:15AM and the job was completed by 3:30PM. Aaron was the lead installer from Re-Bath. The new install looks great and we are so happy that we went with Re-Bath. Yes this was expensive and you may be able to have real tile installed for a similar price and we know people who have done this. Their bathroom was out of service for two weeks. Also youtube has a lot of videos of tile jobs that have gone bad and the homeowner had to pay thousands of dollars to get it redone right. Your only recourse is to sue the first contractor and hope to get part of your money back. Re Bath does not use contractors, they have their own trained installers that work for them.The installers covered all the floors with tarps where they had to walk and cleaned up everything when before they left. So far we are very happy and would recommend them to anyone looking to replace a bathtub withn a walkin shower. read more
