Adam is the broker, Josh and his team--who act as property managers, selling agents, and investors--sold us a property for over $800,000 that, after purchase, turned out to have a significant amount of unpermitted work. Shockingly, the property's value prior to renovations was under $300,000, and none of the extensive, unpermitted modifications were disclosed during the sale. Even more concerning, this was the agent's own property, got work done with unlicensed agents and denied ownership. The unpermitted work is not just a minor issue--it will cost over $100,000 to bring the home up to code. When we raised these serious concerns, neither Josh nor anyone from The Firm Brokerage took responsibility or even responded. As licensed real estate professionals, we expected transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct--especially when an agent is selling a home they personally own. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Josh Rudin or The Firm Brokerage. I would highly recommend to not do any business with them.

I have long loved the area and have stayed in lots of homes on vacation, but I did not know exactly where I wanted to be. After seeing how dedicated Darci was to helping my mom find her house, I was excited to work with her for my own. My mom has not bought a home for over 35 years and was relatively new to the process since it had been so long. Like my mom, we were buying from a different city and that can be tricky when you don't drive past a spot everyday. Darci was so patient with us both and so knowledgeable about all the areas in Palm Desert, Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. She was able to find us a property within 5 minutes driving distance of my mom's place, with a pool, no HOA and with mature landscaping! Darci is a great negotiator and was able to get us the home at the price we wanted, all while making a friend of the seller. The best part about working with Darci Hope and her team is how quick they are to respond. In this market, homes go so fast! She was able to get us in for a showing asap and wrote an offer for us the same day. I truly believe that is what sealed the deal for us on getting our perfect vacation home!! We were relocating from another state, and before we ever reached California, Niko was generous with important information for us to consider. As one would imagine, we had many questions about how to proceed and where to look. When we met up at our hotel in Rancho Mirage, Niko listened to our proposals and discussed our views for over an hour. Then we struck out for the most likely areas where we could see homes in our price range. Throughout the day, we visited homes and got to know the area thanks to Niko's expertise. When a realtor is as personable, knowledgeable and as natural an educator as Niko, it is a unique experience. She has never missed a beat when addressing our questions. Her responses to sudden questions have been prompt and extremely helpful. The escrow and closing process occurred remotely and they were smoothly managed by the CV Escrow company. I figured, if folks like them were pleased with David's sales prowess, then my family would be, too. Our properties were not the usual Indian Wells country club view townhomes but DT took on our listing, offered constructive criticism, guidance, and direction when things seemed hopeless. David coached my mother through an incredibly complex financial situation by knowing when to lean on her, nudge, remind, empathize, or even direct us through all the stages. David has been extremely accommodating in attending to all my needs.     One of the most stressful experiences I ever had with a real estate agent was dealing with Bennion…read moreDeville's real estate agent Brett Boyd who was very unethical and unprofessional , and liar, Before I listed my house with him he told me that he would open house at least 4 times because a week so he could sell my house faster because I told him that I was facing bank foreclosure and He turned me against my previous agent because he was not going enough open house But after I switched to him he did the open house only 2 times a week , and when I reminded him of his promise he got Angry at me and he told me that he never said such a thing , also when I listed with him he used my own photos and some of my previous agent's photos , and he said that it would be only temporary and that he would bring a professional photographer but that was another lie because it never happened , and when I reminded him , he got angry again and he denied saying such a thing , also he influenced me switching to him because he said that my previous agent was doing the open house by appointment only and he told me that if I switched to him he would have it available without appointment to increase the chances to sell my house but after I switch to him I learnt that he was refusing to show the house to any one unless if he had an agent and refused to show it in the evening which decreased my chances to sell the house , then I had a possible buyer that wanted to come to see the house again just after half an hour from the closing of the open house for that day and he said that he was done for the day , even though Brett only lived 2 miles away from my house , then the buyer asked him if he would meet him the following day because the house was scheduled to be open then but Brett lied to him that he was going to cancel the open house for the following for personal reasons , but that was a lie because the house was open on Sunday and it was not canceled , then I saw him in my security camera that he was disclosing to possible buyers that my house was going to bank foreclosure soon and that I had financial hardship and all my financial and equity information and he violated my privacy , I one time asked him to write for me a letter that he was my listing agent and that the real estate market was market was very slow so I could get some extension for my for my bank foreclosure but he refused and he falsely accused me that I refused to get a job and to make payments on the loan , therefore it was all my fault. Finally just few days ago , he surprised me that he would take off for at least 6 weeks because he had surgery , and he canceled my MLS listing while he is still my listing agent and left me stock with no one which is very heart breaking , he was the one was telling the buyer that the mortgage co was giving me a limited time to leave the house and he is the one screwed me now , I called his manager David Cantwell who was defending Brett , and made him self unavailable for a week , Is this conspiracy or what ? It's not fair , I am 67 years old disable and I am losing my house because of Brett and his broker manager wrongful discriminatory action. Attached his text message accusing me that the bank foreclosure was my fault and blamed me of stopping making the mortgage payment , AND that I refused to work , and that was totally baseless , because the reason of my bank foreclosure that the mortgage company increased my mortgage to almost double and caused me to lose my saving account but as you see from his message like he was representing my mortgage company interests and not my interest , and he invaded my privacy by telling the buyers about my bank foreclosure status and he lied to me that he never did but it was captured in my security cameras , One More thing can someone believe that he would take the flyers with him after every open house , so it wouldn't be available until the next open house , and when I asked him to keep the flyers he refused and he said that he owned the flyers and had to take it back with him every time !!!!!!!!! Can someone believe that he and his Manager David Cantwell cancelled my listing from the MLS while the listing agreement still active and I can't list and I am punished and abandoned now and I can't list with anyone else until he comes back after 6 weeks while I am facing bank foreclosure and by the time he comes back him or his broker manager I could be losing your home , is this conspiracy or what , is this a clean business or what. add to that his nasty repeated text messages before that and his several threats to me that if I didn't listen to him that I would end up homeless and sleeping in my car , and repeatedly he reminded me of my financial hardship , add to all the above that he was being nasty to me , yelling at me , telling me to shut up , and telling me that I didn't know shit . He is a bully , and his manager David Cantwell is bully , and they bullied me because I was brown immigrant.

We won a competitive bidding situation because Paige developed such a strong relationship with the other party's representative that gave Paige unique insight into what mattered to the buyer. Further, Paige went above and beyond in helping us get through the paperwork and figure out a plan for a significant remodel. If she wasn't working as a realtor, she should be an interior designer! Five stars.
