While I'm originally from San Diego, I'm unfamiliar with the real estate market other than looking at properties on Zillow. While talking to a childhood friend, she recommended her realtor Erin and gave me her number. It felt too intrusive to call her personal cellphone so I decided to go to her website to learn more about her and ultimately decided to call the general number. Well, guess who answered?! lol Erin. I had to mute the phone shortly after she answered because I was awkwardly giggling to myself like a crazy person. I guess I just figured someone from her team would answer so it's funny I ended up talking to her anyway. We had a nice conversation. While I had many questions, she patiently answered them all. She offered locations to consider in my price range, townhomes and single family homes and places that don't charge an HOA. I thought HOA's were only on condo's, derp. Erin demonstrated to me that she's more interested in the relationship than the transaction and I respect that. We went ahead and scheduled an appointment at her office next week so she can help me with planning.

It was time for my mom to finally downsize to a home which would be more manageable; square footage to yard maintenance; for someone in their 80's. Therefore, I searched Yelp and after viewing the realtors on Yelp, Erin Wade stood out even before I read her reviews. I called Erin and set up a meet and greet with my mom and husband to discuss options for selling and buying a home in the area. From starting to finish, Erin was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth, stress-free and successful for my mom who has never had to deal with selling and buying a home for over 30+ years. Erin is incredibly knowledgeable about the market, communication was always clear and timely, and she responded to all texts and/or emails in a timely matter even while out of town for family event. If it just so happened Erin was not available, she assigned someone from her team to cover in her absence. Erin made sure we were kept in the loop on any information about the property my mom was selling and the one she was purchasing. Erin really catered to my mom's needs and to my husband and my expectations during the process. Overall, Erin made us feel we were the only customer even though we know that is not true. We; my mom, husband and I, are grateful to have found Erin Wade and her team to help my mom sell her home and find her forever home. If you are looking for a great, reliable, friendly and knowledgeable Realtor. Erin Wade is that Realtor. I will definitely call Erin Wade when I am in the market to sell my home.

She was very attentive and always available to talk when we had questions. She helped us get a competitive offer in on our dream home the same day we viewed it, even staying up late with us to make sure we got it in as quickly as possible. We appreciated Michelle's honesty and transparency, giving us honest feedback about our offer strategy and what to expect throughout the process. She explained things clearly in a way that made it easy to understand for a couple people with no experience in real estate. She was also instrumental in getting us help with lenders, home inspections, and final negotiations in escrow. All in all, we can't can't say enough good things about our experience with Michelle. And we certainly wouldn't have landed our home without her!

This brings me no joy to write this, truly. My agent Marci and I connected well enough I thought we…read morewere going to also be friends. But once my house had the first open house, she did nothing more to promote it and even told me she "held back marketing" due to her thinking on challenges I was experiencing without even asking if I wanted a pause on promotion. She helped me organize my garage in prep. which was really appreciated and I took her out to dinner to thank her and she offered some referrals for repair work which unfortunately turned out to not be as professional as they should have been, and I had to hire additional people to fix the problems. I took my house off the market and now more than 2 weeks later she still has not returned my house key. "I'll get back to you as soon as I can"...Now a week later with no key. It's clear I was never a priority. Interesting she bashed Redfin as not being involved in listings with their 1% fee, and yet, she has now made herself worse than what she felt threatened by. She said Refin realtors were hands off after the first open house and this was not far off after all was said and done. But after the open house out of the blue instantly said my house was over priced without any consultation to pricing before listing. It was just a total about face to side with agents who came to the house. The market changed dramatically the week I listed, not for the better. But she did not ask me about not marketing the house- she just did that on her own. Leaving me with the feeling that the listing was not a high priority.

These are scary times, and home security is a huge issue…read more I've been with Palomar for 2 years now and I've had great service with them. Repairs taken care of on time, a good standing relationship with the entire team, and just this week, Deborah Gamble worked with our property owner to land another year lease on the house we live in. Palomar Properties have done good by my family, and we truly appreciate it!!

When I moved into one of their apartments, I was verbally informed that there was pre-existing damage to the bathtub paint/enamel, as well as the garbage disposal, and that maintenance was queued up to fix it. I documented it anyway to protect myself against any damage accusations to protect my security deposit. Three months later, no maintenance was ever done, so I opened a ticket. I did not complain or ask for expedited service or any sort of special treatment. I simply pointed out what was needed. The next day, maintenance came while I was at work (which I agreed to, stupidly, but I live alone and had to work). When I arrived home, there was a single couch cushion randomly flipped over along with a bunched up throw blanket and a dark spot on the top couch cushion. When I flipped the cushion over, the couch cushion was soaked through and visibly wet with urine. It is obvious that the maintenance worker brought a pet with him while he was working (despite a building-wide no pet policy being enforced on the lease). I really hope it was a pet... It's a little gross, but I honestly barely care about that. The maintenance worker lied to me about it, lied to his supervisor about it when I asked if anything was reported, and the supervisor lied to me to protect him, and I'm incredibly insulted they simply flipped my couch cushion over hoping I wouldn't notice, instead of acknowledging it or even attempting to clean it. After a back and forth between myself and his supervisor, they finally agreed to pay to clean the couch... That's it. No apology for the days of lies and back and forth, no apology for them situationally applying their own rules and terms of lease, no apology for them essentially allowing and supporting someone to come into my home and destroy my property. My own rent payments were being used to pay the salary of someone who damaged my property and lied about it. Disgusting. To seal the deal, he did not even do a good job repairing my bathtub. It is already chipping where he repaired it... again.
