Our impressions from start to finish: - Diana and her team are straight shooters: never over-promised, always over-delivered. With quick replies to questions, and solid resolutions. Every time. - We've had landlords who treated us like adversaries from day one, and others who went there the first time we reported a maintenace issue. In seven years, through Covid, multiple lease renewals, and few expensive maintenance issues, Diana never once went adversarial. Always polite, friendly, kind, and clearly committed to keeping us safe and satisfied. Even when we disagreed a couple times, she took the high road. (So we had no excuse but to do likewise.) - Moving out is hell. But Diana and her team made this move feel more like "heck" :) They checked in to see how we were doing, and went out of their way to time tours with prospective new tenants and visits from maintenance people to fit our schedule. And in the final walkthrough, when Diana caught a couple big things we had missed in our cleaning, she let us come back the next day to take care of them. So she wouldn't have to charge them against our deposit. (This was a first for us. - Another first: While we were searching for our next home, Diana volunteered to write us a letter of recommendation to prospective landlords. HOSTILE AND A NEGLIGENT COMPANY…read more STAY AWAY!!! The Clark street property has a generational old cockroach infestation issue that they have been dealing with long before I moved in. when I moved in (August 2020) within the first six hours I had noticed and have picture of roach droppings along the windowsills in (September 2022) the tenants next-door to me in unit six I've been living there for over five years and had gotten a pest treatment done prior to getting their treatment done. Their pest control. Technician had informed them that if a treatment was to be done on six, it should be done on all the surrounding units, including mine, and prior to doing business with Payne pest control during the bid for Clark street property they were informed of what would need to be done to get rid of this pest infestation which meant getting the property tented mind you this was before I had moved in I was old told that Bryan and Samantha had just gone with the cheapest option which they also knew would not take care of this issue. A couple months into moving in I had informed them of the pest issue and needing treatment in which they responded by sending an inspection out rather than a treatment which only allowed the infestation to move and grow worse in my unit. By the time any treatment had been done all of my property, my kitchen appliances. Everything was infested, no matter how much we cleaned how much we threw out they constantly kept coming through the same places that the water would come through for the flooding pictures emails of it all during confronting them on their negligence they choose to divert from laws and ordinance codes that I present to them that they're violating in which I've had to move units because of this issue and the infestation has spread to my appliances I was no longer able to move anything from my old unit (5) into my new unit (4) I had to buy completely new furniture and knew everything but the same old infested appliances from number (5) had to come with me I am not the only tenant who I have witnesses and current tenants that are willing to testify against this as well as it being an issue long-standing before I had even moved in, not only have I had to personally take losses from their negligence, but Bryan has also been calling other tenants making them uncomfortable with personal questions about me and he is also insinuated nefarious things about me to other tenants he has also told new tenants moving in he has told them that I am the cause to their generational old roach infestation problem. if there was an option for zero stars, I would select that Bryan and Sam and the entire company are a bunch of slumlords looking to steal your money. We found mouse traps with bait in a kitchen drawer, dirty rugs, mold in the shower, loose toilet seats, several TVs that did not work, and sticky, deteriorating remotes. The couch was covered and visibly filthy, more like dorm furniture than a luxury rental. The pool table netting was ripped so balls fell to the floor, sports balls were flat, and a rusted outdoor table stained my husband's jacket. After checkout, the property manager called once, said he would follow up, then stopped responding. When a property is advertised as luxury, guests should not have to clean or deal with broken amenities while on vacation. This was not close to the standard promised.
