After a great…read moreexperience renovating my home's master bathroom, I've had them back to handle a home office renovation as well as a powder room renovation thus far. To share a few thoughts: - My home has an odd layout, mixing open-concept with split-level, so rooms do not begin and end in conventional places. This leads to odd requests on projects (e.g. "paint half of this wall"). Miel has been extremely understanding of the house, which has helped me tackle projects in a way that works with my budget. - Texts during the week always have very timely responses, and work is stood behind in the event of a small goof here and there. - As someone who enjoys DIY projects and is very invested in the materials and design choices I make, Miel has been extremely accomodating to develop quotes where I provide various materials (door hardware, marble, etc.). That allows me to get exactly the look I want, without needing to be my own contactor. Five stars does not suggest that there has never been any mistakes ever. Small things are bound to happen here and there, just as I'm sure they would with any contractor. I do think I have a five star partnership with Miel, and when issues arise, I can count on them to be resolved in a reasonable manner. I look forward to more future projects with Miel.

Excellent company! This was a major project they did for me. The existing wood floor had to be…read moreremoved and was replaced with tile. The tile was a special type of installation with the smallest space between large tiles with a natural marble design on the tile where the veining had to match up throughout. These experts started by carefully protecting all surfaces and items that could not be moved out of my home. The project was on the second level so lots of going up and down for removal of the old floor, tile cutting, baseboard cutting and much more. The project was very involved, as it was the entire living area with a kitchen and a bathroom, and there were unexpected issues with the existing construction that needed to be addressed to complete the new floor. They were amazing and knew exactly what to do with every aspect of the project, with extreme precision and skill. I was impressed with how talented everyone was. Highly professional, knowledgeable, skilled and meticulous. And with strong design recommendations for everything, if I wanted them, and I did want them - because they were great recommendations. They took the time at the very start to help me choose the most beautiful flooring possible, and kept the same level of creating a beautiful floor from start to finish. They even made selections for me during the project that were higher end that didn't add cost. Everything they did was outstanding. The level of skill of every type was incredible. The construction, carpentry, tile, plumbing, everything was performed at the highest level of excellence. And everyone was a dream to work with. They can do ANYTHING! Perfectly! I wish that I could have my entire home remodeled by Flooring Express and Remodeling! Everything looks so beautiful - I am so happy I cried over it. She was very warm & friendly, she put my worries at ease and started throwing out some design ideas. I loved her design style...I was able to trust in her ideas. She has many design packages that I could customize to how much time I needed to have her consulting services. She helped me to select color schemes and design for the window coverings. She coordinated the painting of the front room and dining room. She coordinated everything from installation to final walk through. I love how it all looks, my house looks fabulous! I love coming home to see the great changes. Because I trusted her completely and saw what she already did, we were in the middle of re-designing my daughter's bedroom and decided to consult with her on the project. We had all the bedding, rug, and drapes picked out, but didn't quite get to the walls yet. Teresa came in, took a sample swatch of the colors in my daughter's room, picked out a couple of the colors and matched the colors perfectly.
