We have been here a couple of times and love the store overall! It's cute and clean, with a little gift shop area that has the perfect small gifts for any occasion. The only reason I am giving this a 4/5 stars is because every time we go, the coffee is slightly bitter and not quite as smooth as I would prefer, but overall very good, which is why we come back! read more

I stick by the truth of the size and quality of what was served. I deducted a star in this updated review due to the deceptive information presented. The sandwiches were indeed the size of the palm of my hand (a woman who fits into a small/medium sized glove) and I did not find the bowls to be "oversized". My daughter's mini loungefly backpack can be seen next to the "oversized" bowl for comparison, with a typical sized keychain attached. I am an individual who enjoys eating at various establishments of all types (sans fast food chain establishments) and have no problem with paying higher prices for quality experiences. My personal experience stands that it was good, but not worth the cost. Had it been superior quality in comparison to other establishments and brands, I would have credited it as such. However- that being said, the customer service demonstrated through the review response demonstrates a lackluster quality in other parts of the business. As a leader/manager, especially one who deals in customer relations, one should consider feedback of all types in order to improve quality and future business performance. Hence I downgrade my review by a star and stand by my perspective that we will not be revisiting this establishment. read more

This is such a breath of fresh air in a town that is full of pizza, shops, fast food, and chain restaurants which don't get me wrong have a time & a place! It is beautiful couches and a fireplace fresh pastries homemade artisan coffee drinks great place to sit and talk! The Douglassville PA shop is new and as a new potential client (that lives in the neighborhood), I was brushed off when I asked any questions about their products. Why do you not carry soy milk? How am I supposed to know if their refreshers have sugar/sweeteners in them? When I asked, they looked at me like I had snot running out of my nose. I found the staff indignant, rude and angered that I had to ask questions (and it wasn't even busy). I planned to order more, but since I could not get any information about their products all I ordered was a coffee. It was acceptable, but nothing great. I'm not in any hurry to go back. read more

Rented one of the igloos with 3 friends. The girls behind the counter not pleasant not informative. This was our first visit so we had no knowledge how this "igloo experience" worked. We were There at 12:15 .... No turkey sandwich, no salad available..... everyone went to the igloo with their lunch while I waited inside for my soup (it needed to be heated)! After that waiting 5+ minutes I went out to my friends... in time she brought out my soup in a coffee cup... no roll, no soup spoon, lukewarm and watered down . will say the sandwiches were good, best part of the whole experience. Good coffee shop in town! They open with the market so you may have to wait until 7:30 to get your cuppa! Both the times I was the only customer. I went the very second day and the guy brewed me a fresh large cup when I had paid for a medium. The second time I ordered an americano which was very good. Will go back. read more

I stopped in this factory outlet to see what it was all about, after reading an appealing review in a local magazine. I should have known when the person standing by the door greeted me with an aggressive manner. The coffee may be good, but I haven't tried it. It is way over priced for Berks County, and the owner was obviously upcharging as we spoke! What really made my visit most memorable was the obnoxious, rude and aggressive demeanor of the owner. He might have been trying to be gracious, to the best of his ability. He did offer to roast the beans and let me observe the process. However, the interaction was so unpleasant, with his intentional insults to my community and to the rest of society, well, please stay away from this place at all costs. If you really love their coffee, have them ship it to you! read more

The absolute best in coffee. There is none better. I met the owner once many years ago when they were in Reading - he is a hard working, normal guy. He knows his stuff when it comes to coffee roasting and isn't that the reason to purchase his product? If you want your butt kissed and your hand held and softly caressed then go to that place that specializes in burning their beans but for the best in coffee - this is it.
