I have been obsessed with Max Crema's since I was in college. I used to stop by daily on my way into class, but since I've moved away, I have been ordering coffee beans from Alicia since! Her quality roasting, product consistency, customer service, flavor, product sourcing, drink quality when in store are all top tier. I personally would award Max Crema's a Michelin Star in coffee! For over 10 years, Alicia continues to bring quality and top tier coffee roasting and flavor. I have never found another coffee roaster like her! I still drink her coffee every morning since 2013 - I cannot recommend any coffee roaster more highly! read more

My car club has cars and coffee events in their shop and parking lot. The coffee and specialty drinks are as good as you can get anywhere. Last weekend I had an iced coffee, a cappuccino and a cranberry scone. The drinks were excellent, the scone, not so much. Friendly baristas and prices on par with the quality. Lots of safe parking for our cars and a warm, inviting decor with comfortable chairs and clean tables. Recommended. read more

Met the owner and Wonder Woman who began this adorable little shop. Explained a cortado and she nailed it. Espresso has a nice deep fruitiness and ends with a rich smoky taste. Definitely worth the drive to the Farmers Market. Highly recommend showing this lady some love for all the long hours and hard work she puts in. Found this place on Yelp while traveling for work, this was the BEST discovery of the day. Hands down this is the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Yum! A great little stop off of rt 12, pricetown. I grabbed a chai tea latte because they're my favorite. It didn't disappoint. I was also asked what kind of color chai tea I wanted. The barista knew her flavors offering which had more spice. The atmosphere is worth sitting down and relaxing in. If you have a chance, check out the art work on sale. The art is on the walls and it's like a mini exhibition for local artists. I was told they also have events hosted like meet and greet with the exhibited artist. read more

I finally had the chance to try Max Crema's after I stopped in a few months ago when they were out of iced coffee. I wasn't really impressed. The drink was alright, but it wasn't anything special. It was definitely overpriced. $3.90 for a medium iced coffee... that's $1 more than even what Starbucks charges. I couldn't find iced coffee anywhere on the menu, either. We're talking Alsace Township, not NYC. Not sure how this place has survived here so many years with prices like that. Interestingly, while here, I saw EDGE connectivity on my phone for the first time in over five years. It's basically an AT&T deadzone, lol. read more

Awesome place for some excellent coffee. Coffee is roasted on sight so you know it's very fresh. Coffee doesn't have that burnt flavor that is typical of the more well known coffee spots. Reasonably priced and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend stopping in for some fresh brewed coffee, or better yet, buy a pound of beans to take home. I purchase my chai tea (loose and by the cup) at MC on a regular basis. Jess (barista) is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We have had some great 5 minute conversations as the tea is seeping. Plenty of parking, clean bar, healthy and not so healthy snack options, and indoor and outdoor seating. Local ever changing local art, and other hand made items. Supports local authors with books and signings. Sorry, I can not comment on the coffee because I do not drink coffee but the "regulars" are faithful every morning for their "cup of jo" and Jess knows what they want and has it made without them even asking. This may have been the most expensive coffee shop beverage I've had in a while. Worst part about it was that it was iced. Chai tea latte with soy milk. With a tip OVER 7$.
