On 6/3/2021 I moved from the third floor in one building to the first floor of another. 2 guys provided the services. They used a hatchback car owned by one of them to help make the move "faster" Because their boss did not supply them with hand trucks and a van for the move. This added exponentially to the time it should have taken. A little past halfway thru the move one of the guys hurt himself with his car. They took a break. When they returned they had another guy with then. They told me their boss sent him to help them because the one guy was injured. It turns out this man was a guy they found up the block. HE IS CURRENTLY HOMELESS AND JUST GOT OUT OF INCARCERATION. I called the company today, (about 3 weeks after my move). The owner said he didn't know anything about this and why did I wait this long. He was very confrontational and also hung up on me twice. He told me to take him to court. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY HAD I KNOWN THE GUYS WOULD BE UNPREPARED AND ALSO LIARS AND CRIMINALS! read more

Dwan and his crew surpassed our expectations. They are more than just a moving service and fully worth every cent we paid (which was still the lowest in any of the 4 quotes we received). The stress of moving is always very high, but the genuine, fun-loving and professional nature of Dwan and company actually made the entire experience very fun and enjoyable. They were early, stayed late, and all around great people. They take care of your belongings as if they were their own. In the morning before they arrived I fell down our stairs and sprained my ankle and wasn't able to help in the process, but with the knowledge and experience that Dwan had I think I would have gotten more in the way if I hadn't been injured. My son needed help moving into a new home as they needed to be out of their apartment. My husband was having heart issues and could not help as planned; it was becoming stressful trying to figure out who could help us with short notice and everyone working. I sent a message via yelp at 8 pm to Ready Set Go Moving Services that we needed help with moving the next day. I received a call back from Dwan within 20 minutes, we negotiated the price and set the moving for 11:30 am. They arrived promptly and my husband and son reported they were awesome, helpful and even offered to set up the bed. Calling Ready, Set Go a couple nights before the a trial moving date, s night before they were to move me, I had a bad fall from bedroom to bathroom, shattering my elbow and breaking every bone in my forearm. They were kind enough to let me reschedule as soon as I had my surgery date. It was on Christmas Eve, but I needed it done before My surgery on Monday 8 am. When i rescheduled for 10am on 12/24, they were right on time, were right on with what to move 1st and asking all the right questions. They were fun, knowledge, knew what they were doing. The price was great for a newly retired single gal. They did such a great job, we even gave them both lunch money to enjoy when the left the storage. Best bet as I ever took! This moving company was the first out of 5 I called to actually call me back within minutes. Dwan was so professional, nice and provided answers to all my questions. They had me moved in 3 hours and that was wrapping everything carefully so as not to scratch a thing! Dwan made sure I was happy with placement of all my pieces and shelves and didn't make me feel rushed on making decisions on where to put the pieces. I was really not prepared on where I wanted the items to go in my new office, so he even offered his opinion on what would seem to work better for me and he was right!! After searching for movers, I found Ready Set Go. They had great reviews on Yelp, so I called and spoke to Dwan. He was very nice and helpful. He was able to schedule my move on the requested date. He called the day before and confirm his guys would arrive at 10am. There were there a few minutes early. Dave & Marcel were so kind, and friendly. They were respectful and careful with all my "cargo." Everything arrived perfectly. They did an awesome job! By the end of the day I felt like I had a couple of new friends! Today was an AMAZING day!! Dwan answered when I called and was able to book the exact day and time I needed. He called to confirm our moving day and time and then showed up at my old address right on time ! They loaded my whole house in 1 hour and even made an extra stop at my storage to pick up my "armoire" They made sure everything was secure and moved me to Modesto from Stockton. Other companies were quoting nearly THREE times what the gentlemen at Ready Set Go quoted, with more service and on hand supllies to assist to make the moving process that much smoother. I have to say this was a great experience. All I needed was to have a small amount of furniture re arranged in my home. 15 minutes max. I gave Dwan a call and he was more than accommodating not only when it came to fitting me into his schedule the same day I called, but he was extremely fair with the cost of his service. Wow! Ready set go movers were all that and more. I had to get my large items (couch, beds, table, etc.) moved from one place to another. They were able to get it loaded & unloaded in 1.5 hours!!! They were very friendly, professional, kind, and careful with everything. They brought their own truck & moved it all at a very affordable rate I might add! These guys were GREAT! They moved all of the heavy furniture (including a washer/dryer) out of our 900 square foot apartment on the second level with narrow stairs and next to no parking. They arrived on time, came with the appropriate equipment and a large moving truck. They both had great attitudes and were very careful and strategic about moving each item. Best. Move. Ever. We always move ourselves, but this time U-Haul dropped the ball. Our AM truck rental was pushed to 12:30, then to 3 PM...if the truck was returned. We had to be out that day.
