The family and I came to Seaside to visit my cousin who lives in the area. I saw these scooters…read morefrom Seaside Scooters while sitting out on his balcony. I'm the more adventurous one in the family and can usually convince my young adult children especially favorite son. Favorite daughter and hubby not so much. My cousin and I decided to check out the scooters prior while walking the dog to get a feel of the place. When we arrived we were greeted by Ray. He was more in love with our lab, but that was cool - a great ice breaker. Ray was great with answering our questions. Later that day the five us came back to try out the scooters. Again, we were greeted by Ray. He went over the cost and the paperwork. We then were greeted with John (the quiet one....he he). We have one in the family as well (favorite daughter)...so we get it. At first we weren't sure how to take John, but he was the opposite of what we thought. Both guys were patient and accommodating in walking us through the process of working the scooters. John who worked with me, my husband and favorite daughter was patient in making us feel comfortable. Never made us feel uneasy in riding the scooters. Ray worked with favorite son and my cousin. Ray even suggested areas to go to for that great sunset that I was looking for. BTW, my cousin took us to Lavalette Beach (beautiful town close by) and was wondering why everyone we passed was looking at us . Found out later from a lady who was following us on her manual bike that this area had never seen these scooters. She couldn't wait to stop us to inquire. Mr Kranky put real effort into finding the right e-machines to accommodate our individual needs and recommended the best choice for each of us. We had a really nice afternoon riding on the trail along Sandy Hook Bay (lower portion of Henry Hudson Trail). Note - texting is the best method of contacting Kranky Cycles for a prompt reply, and is their preference. At first I wasn't sure about this since I tend to be very phone-oriented, but it worked out quite well!

The ebikes are beautiful and they are a pleasure to ride. I purchased a green Element and a red Boomerang. Adam delivered the bikes to my door and fitted each bike for the specifics of the rider. Adam is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about his business. I will again be visiting him for our free 100 mile tune up. Having a brick and mortar store makes all the difference in an electric bike purchase.

We rented it for an hour and was able to go up and down the boardwalk with plenty of time to spare. Lots of good places to stop and grab a snack along the way and the surrey is a great way to see all the various sites without having to walk the whole way in the hot summer heat.

A part had arrived with minor damaged so it it took a couple days to receive the replacement. They did amazing work with the assembly of my new bike regardless of the delay. Staff was very inviting and helpful. When I picked up my bike they made sure I had everything I needed before I left. They have a limited amount of accessories, but it's enough to get you started if you're new or returning to cycling like me. Will update when I have to come in for maintenance and/or repairs.

So all we had to do was grab our beach bags and head to the beach. Every morning, without fail, we received a photo of our set up, it was great! And when we wanted to meet friends on a different beach we just let them know the evening before and they set us up exactly where requested. They deliver on time 5. Their golf carts are beautiful and clean with an incredible sound system. 6. They deliver and pick up exactly on time. (another rarity these days) We rented a golf cart, some coolers and some bikes. Their bikes were amazing. I'll never strap bikes to the back of my vehicle again. Renting here really made the vacation a different experience. My wife thought it was the best, and my kids couldn't get enough of it.
