First delivery was two hours late. No knock on door, no explanation on how to set up my water dispenser. No help with HUGE water outside my door. O.k. I understand not helping me but I waited ALL DAY AT HOME and they came late and took off as fast as they could. Terrible terrible customer service. They will not let you cancel online so you have to wait 45 minutes or longer to cancel on the phone. The goal is to have you so frustrated that you will hang up the call. Then the other trick is that they deliver after you cancel hoping to get your business back and make it difficult to return the water. We had crystal springs water service for many years and have been very happy with the service and price. Now that they have been sold, the new company has already missed our scheduled delivery for Friday . They claim I will need to wait another week for a delivery. Hmm. Failing to fulfill the scheduled delivery date and unwilling to resolve the problem swiftly. I give them a failing grade. Our company has to provide drinking water to our employees who work outdoors. This water company is Horrible, they miss deliveries, they keep delivering water or product when you tell them not to, you want to pay your bill, they tell you there's nothing do yet. You get text on your next delivery, it doesn't come, you call your told your account has been suspended for non payment, you explain you have been wanting to pay but there's nothing due. Crystal Springs was a much better Company, there service was prompt and customer care was there. CONSUMERS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, READY REFRESH SHOULD LEAVE THE CENTER COAST. Never do business with the company. We cancelled service and were told that we did not owe anything. They charged us a delivery fee since the driver stopped by when delivering to others around us, then charged us a late fee of $20.00. Horrible company to deal with, customer service was not any help. Predatory company. They love there extra nickels and dimes, along with the worst water ever (Arrowhead) yuck... All reasons why we Canceled online in January. They continued billing. Driver showed up for delivery in February, told him we had canceled and had him take bottles/ stand. They have continued billing. Cancelled again online February. If you want to be on hold FOR EVER, just try for a laugh. March 17th and they are still billing, adding late fees, adding paper billing fees, and still continue to bill for equipment that driver picked up (who was completely rude bye the way) waited 43 minutes on hold today, 1st contact, miracle. I never got any water delivered without me having to call and request it.... and of course days after being out of water. I got notified YESTERDAY (August 12, 2019) by letter that ReadyRefresh (aka Arrowhead Nestle) bought Crystal Springs in July 2019 effective August 1, 2019. Called the 800 number and got a man in customer service, that didn't understand what I was asking, couldn't answer my questions and talked like he was eating lunch while talking to me. Asked about my account number, which I told him and asked what the address was. If he had my account in front of him, he would know the address. Then he passed me to billing. The cost of a bottle of water I bought from Crystal Springs would go up to $11.99 with a delivery fee of $6.95 per delivery. That is double the price for water. When I asked why the price hike, the woman, read me a script paragraph about quality, service and more minutia than I have heard recently. This is terrible. read more

I need help ready refresh the so called company that took over for crystal springs has turned into a nightmare, I never agreed to do business with these thieves. They came one day and delivered one bottle of water unbenounced to me. I called and told them I did not want their service and asked them who were they and what happened to crystal spring after a long wait on the phone I hung up... never got an answer. They came Nov. 2 and picked up all their bottles and the ceramic water container and the stand. At the time they delivered the bottle I had a credit of a little over a $6.00 these thieves then started sending me bills for rental fees , delivery charges, and late fees. I am sick to my stomach from the monthly bills they keep sending. I have been scammed and ripped a few times in my life but this has beaten all of the crap I have been through I do not understand or believe that the county of San luis Obispo lets this kind of abuse take place. These thieves sent another bill today for over $60.00 .... For What? Can someone please guide me to the right place to get this situation taken care of. How desperate and low has this county... no... this state become to give a business license to crooks like this so called company. I used Arrowhead Delivery a few years starting in 2005. When they sold or switched to Nestle's ReadyFresh, the service began to take a spiral for the worst. It started with charges being missed and then being charges twice on the following month. Irritating, but no big deal as the funds were there. Then the price increases followed, as did the fees collection of empty bottles. Then came the cancelations of delivery dates, due to drivers not being available. Once or twice I could handle, but it began to reoccur two or three times a year. I had to wonder, how many employees do these guys hire? Obviously not enough to cover a route if someone calls in sick. But what made me realized I had fallen with with a bad company, was when I got a bottle with visible floating "sludge" in my bottle. It was white, with black specks and clear in some areas, foggy in others. It was disgusting. When I called the company they asked me a series of questions, in regard to the bottle, how long I'd had it, where did I keep it, etc. I knew they suspected I had planted it. If they had reviewed my customer history they would know I was a loyal customer. But instead they me read every row of numbers in fine print listed on the bottle. They said they would send someone to pick it up in two days and leave me a replacement. It might just be me, but considering this might have been consumed you'd think they might have added, "And we'll comp. your bill for that 5 gal. container". But by this time it didn't surprise me in the least. So two days later the bottle is gone, but no new bottle in it's place. I called and they apologized and said they would send a new one the next day. They next day came and went and no new bottle. The next morning a new bottle arrived, and at least I didn't have to call their office. What made me decide to drop their service, was the price increase that would make each 5 gal. container a total of 15.89 each. My bill with delivery fees, collection fees and taxes would be in the area of $38.00 (plus). For two 5 gal jugs of water a month. When I called to cancel I first asked associate who took my call if he could do the math for me to maker use I was understanding the price increase. He didn't take but a second and said "Yes sir. That is correct". Knowing it would be pointless to discuss it further, I said I'd like to cancel my account. He asked me two simple questions, "Why am I canceling?" and "What would change my mind?" I explained everything I wrote in this review, and told him the only way I would stay is if the service improved. Then he got snippy and said; "Well Sir, lets stay within reason." And I knew this company had no care for long term loyal customers, nor for the service they provide. He not once asked me how long I'd been a customer. With the slightest hope I thought he would take a look my my history if I asked him to please make sure I'm current and up to date on my payments. I didn't want my account to be charged a month later. But this seemed to upset him more. He demanded that their practice was to bill upon deliver, not after (I refrained from telling him of those months I wasn't bill but was billed twice on the next month). I knew I'd get no customer support with this guy and followed through the cancellation. Not once did I get a follow up call from the company wanting to know why after 12 years, I decided to cancel. Sadly, they are the only delivery service that reaches out to my area in Orcutt CA. But I'll admit, since I've dropped ReadyFresh, I've never looked back. With AmazonPrime I've been receiving reoccurring delivers of water monthly and well under $25.00 a month. WELL under. Sometimes leaving something you know for something new works in your favor. I just think it's time Nestle's understand that the customer who pays their bill on time, should always come first. read more
