Ready Refresh has been bought out by Primo Brands, the service is horrific! Our order was rescheduled twice. We have completely run out of water and had to make a trip to Home Depot to get water. Naturally they stock a completely different brand so we had to leave a deposit for the water bottle. We are paying for the convenience of having water delivered, and they aren't delivering. When you call, you are either put on hold for hours, or they hang up on you after leaving you on hold for ten minutes or more. They have an incompetent accounting department now that primo has taken over. Before each delivery I have to look at my delivery and edit what they are going to deliver. I have to remove tea from delivery each time, even after calling that I do not want, nor like the tea. Also if i add an extra bottle of water they only bring 3 (my normal delivery amount). Then I go back to my account before the next delivery they've added an extra bottle which I did not authorize and bring it! read more

Is there a negative star? I have had Readyrefresh for years with little to no problems. Recently (past 6 months) we have had our monthly deliveries changed or skipped for weeks at a time. Now someone from ReadyRefresh calls me about cleaning our water dispenser and that we are over due (never ever offered this service before) and that it will be $79 to come out and do it. When I said no thank you and started to ask a question the guy hung up on me. This company has become rude and slow, the customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. No response to email. When it was Primo it was fantastic. They have been bought by ready fresh and it has been a delivery and billing disaster. It's impossible to get help or customer service. I had a scheduled a delivery from June 5 to June 13 to June 24 25 and today on the June 26 2025. Yesterday the male customer reassured us that the water would delivered to day between 8am-12pm. At 12pm the truck flew pass my mothers address because she stayed in the window just to see the delivery come. Just called them back they took out $97.13 on 6/4/2025. They claim the water was delivered. I have heart trouble. I will be taking out legal actions against this company ReadyRefresh/ Primo Brands. This is one of the worst companies to deal with. After canceling the account, I continue to receive a bill every month for rental and delivery fees. Each month I have to call up and explain that we no longer have the water dispenser. This review pertains to ReadyRefresh in the Downingtown, Pa. area... I am not a jump on the 1-star bandwagon person, as I understand that service levels vary from customer to customer. But - Wow, what an awful experience with this company! There is a huge disconnect in communication between the service center, the driver, and me the customer (even after I cancelled my account, I am still receiving deliveries). I have lost track of how many calls I've put in and how many minutes/hours I've spent trying to either receive water after non-deliveries when my account was still active and now, with the account supposedly closed, I'm still getting deliveries. In truth, I could type a dissertation about poor experience after poor experience. Suffice it to say, I am very dissatisfied. In fact, I have never had such poor service from such a large and established company before. Business charged me rental fee after picking up the dispenser / cooler. When I contacted c/s they said that my account was still active and they only picked up bottles so that's why I got charged. I responded back with screen shots from my ring video showing the guy picking up my cooler and putting it into his truck. Then the next robot says that the rental fee charged at the beginning of the month is for the entire month, however they picked up the cooler 7/15 and charged me 7/22. They refused to refund my $8 or apologize for not even knowing what was going on with my account. Their website is difficult to manage deliveries, and their prices go up several times a year. Website full of glitches-user unfriendly. Don't try calling-loops and loops and if you finally get a person, not knowledgeable or helpful. Adding my voice to the chorus of bad reviews. I started with RR in Spring 2020 due to the pandemic and a desire to stay out of stores. Since then, their prices have gone up up up while customer service has gone down down down. There are 4 reasons to avoid ReadyRefresh: 1. They never answer the phone. They make it literally impossible for their own customers to speak with them. I assume this is because they're deluged by unhappy clientele. 2. They've raised their rates significantly, $1 a bottle in 2/21 and now again $1 per bottle in 3/22. These increased amounts are too steep over such a period, particularly when viewed in light of their declining service. They seem unbound by any price controls, implementing relatively higher and higher fees out of the blue. Like it or lump it. 3. They instituted a formal driver tip feature at their website, which seems like a method for offloading the responsibility of paying their workforce a fair wage. This could account for item #4... 4. RR rarely honors their appointment, most of the time they reschedule (they may be struggling to keep drivers per #3). I'm a residential customer so I can roll with delays more or less, but there have been instances where they were booked the entire month, forcing me to go out to the store and buy water. The POINT of this company is WATER DELIVERY, right? Basically, this what you need to know: The company's mindset is that of a monopoly. They operate as if the customer has no other options. Owned by Nestle, a company with vast resources, their performance since acquiring RR has been farcical. It should be taught in business schools as a cautionary tale. read more

If only I can give this company a NEGATIVE. Everything was fine up until their app was under maintenance. The app would not work and said it needed to be updated. After, all of my information was wiped. It would show no more future deliveries. My debit card was what I used to sign up in the beginning. I decided that I'll just use my credit card instead since I had to input a new payment method for my account. I was STILL being charged on my debit card from the previous deliveries before the app went down. They randomly showed up one day dropping off bottles & I wasn't even notified. I waited and thought it would update. But no, it just kept saying NO FUTURE DELIVERIES. This whole time they have been charging my debit & my credit card! & constantly charging me twice or even 3 times plus random fees. I called customer service and they said they could not see any transactions on my debit card and that it is not on file. If that's the case, how is it being charged?? Even on my credit card they still acknowledged that they charged me twice on it. Recently, they charged me for this month and I didn't receive anything all month, I called to set up a delivery thinking that would make up for the charges and YOU GUESSED IT! The bait and switch are real! A 5 gallon jug of Deer Park was over $15 after a while. Go check your local supermarket to see what you'd pay for five 1 gallon jugs... let alone the bigger 2.5 gallon jugs. I bought my dispenser from them and it's a big paperweight now. I cancelled my service the beginning of May 2024 because they kept skipping my deliveries and still charging me. I had an equipment pickup scheduled for the 29th of May. It is extremely important if you are a customer of Ready Refresh: CHECK YOUR INVOICES. You should be receiving $6.00 credit for each bottle you return. This is the same price charged for each bottle you rent. The issue here is that Ready Refresh does not calculate this correctly. And every month I now have to call them, babysit this company so that we do not get overcharged. Ready Refresh makes it extremely difficult to find their telephone number, will tell you that they will call you back and do not, and will offer up any excuse under the sun as to why you were overcharged. This month, I was told that customers only receive credit for a maximum of three bottles returned. This was completely untrue. You should be receiving $6.00 for each and every bottle returned. Delivery dates are consistently changed by them, invoices are consistently incorrect and yet Ready Refresh keeps upping their prices. BEWARE because Ready Refresh is charging you approximately $17 per month for machine rental. Lowe's has nice, very inexpensive water dispensing machines, Sam's Club offers up great deals on 5 gallon water bottles, and the Better Business Bureau assists consumers in dealing with shady companies who overcharge unsuspecting customers. read more

First I would like to start off by saying, the one five star review is probably another employee that thought they could get some sort of sales commission by putting a five star review on here. Everyone else only had to put a one star review because they absolutely had to in order to write a review. Let me start by saying a sales representative from ReadyRefresh came to my door at 7 PM. His name I will not disclose but I do have it and have reported this issue. My community HOA has no soliciting rule and yet ballsy as this guy was, he decided to proceed with delivering his sales pitch. He told me to use my phone to scan his badge and then took my phone from my hands and proceeded to download an app, added a bunch of stuff to my car, and then asked for my card information. I thought this was pretty aggressive to have me at my front door for half an hour at 7 PM and it just made me uncomfortable as a single mother. I closed out the ordering page saying that I was not interested twice and he was very persistent and re-opened it put in all of the information, and proceeded to ask me for my credit card information again. Now mind you, it's 7:30 PM at this point and he told me I would not be charged until the delivery date. So I figured I would go ahead and process the order and then attempt to cancel it directly after he left. However this guy was so sneaky with all of it because I was unable to cancel anything on the app and I was unable to stop the delivery. I tried to call the customer service line and of course at 7:30 PM they are closed. The 21st was also Presidents' Day so of course the office is closed so this guy is not only getting a commission for a sale that I never agreed to, but it's impossible to cancel anything. Fast forward to the next day I called at 8:02 AM and waited 17 minutes this morning on hold to speak with someone. I had already selected billing and I was being transferred to billing again where I waited another 45 minutes before disconnecting and redialing. The second time I redial the customer service number the automated message said that no customer service representatives were available at the time. I was advised by the automated message to send a message on the app but you have to wait 5 to 7 business days for a response. So just in case my review or anyone else's on here, did not discourage you from placing an order - the customer service certainly will! Good luck with that. read more

I've asked them to deliver my water at my front door but the delivery men ALWAYS leave those 40lb water bottles down on my lower steps on my patio making me have to come down there to lug those heavy bottles up to my front porch which is unnecessary, and then they have a nerve to ask me to leave a tip for the delivery men who don't know how to follow simple instructions!!! Can never get through to customer service, always reschedule delivery and worst of all was sent a replacement unit that appeared to be taken straight from someone else to my home. They do everything in their power to avoid responding to customer service requests or billing questions. Their service number is always busy and they divert you to their app or web page. If you want to cancel service via app or webpage they loop you back to the non-responding phone number. They have a different number on yelp, which thankfully worked. Ready Refresh has recently become the worst water delivery service ever. At the beginning of the year, water delivery was off schedule without notice of change. I excused those delays due to the pandemic. Approximately 3 months ago my water was incorrectly delivered to my 89 year old neighbor's home instead of mine, forcing me (63 years old) to carry a case of water and a 5 gallon jug between the 2 houses. I called and complained, at which time the CS Rep offered an apology and removed the delivery fee. On Sept. 9, 2021, I came out to meet the delivery driver because I noticed that my 2 cases of bottled water and 2, 5 gallon jugs were left on the walk way leading to my front door instead of the front stoop. I also noticed that my empty return bottles were not picked up and were still sat the front door. I flagged down the delivery driver to let him know I needed the deliveries placed close to my front door to prevent strain to my back when bringing them in and he replied that I should have left a note on my door for him to see. I explained that he wouldn't have seen a note since he never came up to my door and informed him that all other deliveries from Ready Refresh are left at the front door. I then told him that he didn't pick up my empty bottles and I needed him to take them. He then informed me that he had already closed my ticket and taking them now would not give me credit for the return. This young man was about as helpful as a tick on a dogs ass. He didn't offer to move the deliveries closer to my door nor did he make any attempts to satisfy me by taking back the empty containers. Ready Refresh has continued to increase their prices with a definite decrease in customer service. I called the CS phone line on 9/9/2021 to discuss the less than satisfactory experience and remained on hold for 38 minutes before giving up and hanging up never speaking to a representative.
