Wow, this place is quite large. It's a grocery store and they also sell patio furniture, clothing, etc. Plenty of parking is available. It's really spacious in here. Lots of options available, which is nice. Prices aren't the best, a lot of items are definitely cheaper at that other mega store that starts with the letter W. The Real Canadian Superstore does offer lots of variety though. I spotted many things that weren't available at some of the other grocery stores I visited. I like that they have self checkout. We were in and out in no time. I appreciate this grocery store being here, it's convenient for those who are in the area.

Open from 7 am to 11 pm 7 days a week!! I know though Real Canadian Superstore is not like Metro or Sobey's that are open 24 hours... However, Real Canadian Superstore is a lot more spacious, great selections of everything. Goodlife Fitness on the premises is great for people to workout and then go grocery shopping! 10% discount every Tuesdays with student or university ID. OK, I was not really grocery shopping... but junk food shopping.. I went in at 8 AM to buy Smartfood Popcorn that was on sale for $2.44.

I wanted to pick up dinner since this grocery store has a great hot ready to go prepared food section. Well, my good fortune was rewarded because the Wednesday special is $8.00 for 8 pieces of (white meat) chicken tenders with potatoes; both are baked and not fried. As a bonus, one combo was reduced 30% for quick sale! My trip was only for the hot meal although I've shopped here a few times before. It's a very large store with many departments including a wine & beer venue, cooking classes upstairs, a fitness centre, etc. Anyhow, it takes awhile to remember where your favourite items are located; I somewhat found it confusing maybe because the place is so large and the aisles very wide. Lots of specials to lure customers in!

Evening trip to Real Canadian Superstore last night to pickup some groceries was very troubling. About a dozen cartons of yogurt sitting on the shelf 7 days past their expiration date, cartons themselves sweating, pupple of water on the dirty shelf indicating the fridge isn't even working properly. Not a single person in any of the aisles available to inquire my concern to. I packed all the yogurt cartons into one of those green crates they use for milk and sent it straight down the conveyor to the stock room. Hopefully they don't just put these things back on the shelf. Mind boggling they don't check and remove expired dairy products, major health hazard. CFIA would have a field day with these guys. Take extra precatuions when purchasing from here.

Big parking...No indoors parking though... The store is well laid out, but stocking is kind of iffy on weekends and Thursday's... The deli & salad sections are stocked better than the store on Eglinton & Don Mills/DVP... The shoppers tend to be rude & pushy, but then that's the story of all stores in Scarborough...!!!

Rainbow kale salad and a simply protein bar =)

Prices are comparable (if not cheaper) than the supermarkets in Chinatown, which is a huge plus. They also have a hot bar where you can grab food by the pound. Most of the options are deep fried, so not the healthiest, but it hits the spot if you need something quick, definitely gives Panda Express vibes. On top of that, there's a small skincare section with decent prices and even some Jellycats tucked in (so cute!). Downstairs, there's a little boba shop. I tried their cheese grape drink, which was not too sweet and came with fun jelly toppings. Overall, I'm really happy to have Bestco nearby and will definitely be doing most of my grocery shopping here.

What a fabulous find in the middle of downtown!…read more Fantastic selection of various Asian fresh, frozen and pantry staples - imported & local. It's mostly focused on Chinese ingredients, but they have enough items for Korean and Japanese that you can get by with in a pinch. They also seem to have separate mini boutiques for assorted tchotchkes and beauty products which I didn't investigate. The store looked pretty new and very clean. They also had an impressive array of hot and cold foods to-go that looked quite good, although I didn't try any. If I have any complaint, it is the fact that most of the vegetables are prepackaged in miles of plastic wrap and styrofoam... it is shocking to see. But aside from that, I'd have to say this beats the T&T by a good margin, and I am a T&T devotee from when they opened their first store in Burnaby in the early 90's!

Skip the kimchi, the dim sum was decent and the food from the buffet was worth it. Check out moves quickly, the staff behind the buffet were very helpful. Make sure to bring your own bag.

We found that the ratio of products from Asian countries other than china is significantly higher than we've seen in other Asian/Chinese grocery stores. The produce is on the right when entering the store and meat department at the back. I was on the lookout for ube but hadn't seen it at other stores. There's frozen ube in this supermarket along with lumpia and turon. The breads section is quite large and next to that is the hot foods section with bbq meats as well. There was a section near the hot foods that used be filled with books and cds but now is Petit-Chef Tang selling Chinese crepes. When comparing prices to similar stores Bestco is fairly competitive. There are plenty of cheaper items but some are more expensive. They offer curb side pickup for groceries. By the cashiers there's many baskets filled with groceries and ready for customers to take them home. The Bruno compact hot plate seems to be all the rage these days and Best Food Mart was not to be left out of selling these. They were on sale for $119 and the various plates were available as well - takoyaki plate, cupcake plate, ceramic-coated pot and ceramic-coated pot with a divider.
