I admit, I went in there not knowing really what I wanted but a card. Miss Sam came up to me and directed me to something else that fit perfectly to what I was explaining. I didnt even think of buying that but it made sense. I noticed that after she helped me, she went and helped someone who was down on themselves and I overheard a bit and the woman started just opening up and needing someone to talk too.. Sam just knew what she needed and held her. She listened to this complete stranger talk about her issue, and i saw genuine care.. There is something about her that understands people on a level that others dont. its special. She is good with people. Sam and her loving energy helped everyone that day that I was there even in a short amount of time. Every person in that store smiled. Ill definitely be coming back just to see our little Sam again. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed going there. Dear Sam, thank you for cheering up myself and making my husband smile and laugh. Its been a bit since ive heard his laugh. The store is set up very nicely and is very clean. The owner is kind and does everything in his power to help. Jerome is very nice. My favorite thing is the amount of willow tree items there. There is a vast collection for any occasion.

Because when I land, I want to be hydrated, fruit-fed, and surrounded by enough snacks to survive an impromptu hotel zombie apocalypse. Now, I'll admit--I was a tad nervous after reading Yelp reviews warning me this Target was the size of a large broom closet. Spoiler: it IS small. Like, "I sneezed and saw the entire inventory" small. But you know what else it is? Mighty. Efficient. And the unsung MVP of my vacation. Despite being fun-sized, they had every item in my mobile order, down to the last bottle of water and that weird protein bar I pretend to like for health reasons. The drive-up was smoother than TSA PreCheck, and I was in and out faster than you can say "Essentials, not souvenirs." Is this Target the place to go if you're looking for a full-blown housewares spree or to get lost in the throw pillow aisle? No. This Target is for mission-focused snack warriors who just landed, need grapes and granola, and have no patience for wandering. Would I come back? Absolutely. One huge issue that I discovered at this Target is that they keep that cheaper, Target brand of distilled water on the top shelf. (I need it for my Venus Fly Trap.) I'm guessing they did this so customers could see the more expensive version of distilled water first and find that getting the Target brand not worth the effort. Another issue is their lighting. The atmosphere is almost dank and dark, making me want to leave the store altogether or not come back at all. However, it seems like they may have updated the lighting recently. The service is always decent, so that makes it worth coming here.

They carry all of the Doodlebug products, which I love, and while I have ordered their stuff online, the next time I am in Utah they are definitely on my list to stop by in person. One thing I wish they carried in addition to the paper packs is the Doodlebug stamps and dies. Since I like to make cards in addition to scrapbooking, having those matching stamps and dies right alongside the paper packs would be the absolute best!

We mingled there looking at furniture, bedding and accessories for an extended period of time. Two men were across the store from us behind computer screens at their work stations. We saw one woman in an office door who was talking to someone else in the office, who would come out, look at us, and then turn around and walk back in and continue her conversation. It felt as if they were too busy to help us. We finally sent someone to the kitchen section to inquire if we could get some help in furniture. I saw the woman come out of the office, look at us, then approach one of the men, who got up from his station and walked toward us. I explained my dilemma of having started an order online with a cabinet that was on sale and as I was processing the order, I had questions regarding shipping/delivery that I couldn't find the answers to online. So I put it aside to go into the store after my out of town work trip, not realizing the sale was for a limited time. Pulling up the order, I discovered the sale had ended and the cabinet was back to regular price. I asked if there was any way they would honor the sale price. The salesman went to ask the manager, from the same office as the talking staff, and came back and said, "she said no." No explanation, no greeting, no apology from the manager. Just "No". I have never felt so ignored and dismissed as I did in that department in that store. I'm sure this is not the standard of Crate and Barrel, but it has tarnished my opinion of the entire company from one sour experience.
