The grading in the yard outside was not keeping the water from going to the foundation. Thus we had mold issues that we had to fix. We've replaced plumbing in both bathrooms and fixtures. Problems with the windows not being installed correctly. Convenient that Rausch Coleman was bought out by Lennar but that certainly hasn't helped us. We have fixed everything so far that had to be fixed and our cash now has been depleted significantly negatively affecting our retirement to the point where I am back to work at 70 years old! I don't know if my two messages were not passed along or he just decided to ignore me. In my case, the complaint was about three consecutive months of scheduling a termite inspection just to not show up at all. I work, and it is an inconvenience to ask my workplace for time off to schedule a no-show termite inspection 3 times! It's a valid complaint, and my trying to ensure it was not another "no show" appointment resulted in having an additional inspection, additional inconvenience and double the time wasted. Not to mention the unspoken threat of some actions taken because of her "suspicions"

Almost every day, I get "stabbed"by the carpet nails as well as torn socks requiring me to have to wear shoes constantly to avoid injury. We have to request cleaning/ vacuuming in order to get our furnished apt taken care of. I think we clean it more often than they do. Maintenance is very responsive and does a great job. The college students working in the office/clubhouse are not very customer service oriented. They come off as irritated when you would like some help with anything. Also, the fitness center has little to no free weight equipment, except for a few dumbbells. The machines are old and not too good. There are, however, quite a few treadmills in the room. The fitness center at the Rogers location, on the other hand, is quite nice. The golf facilities here are very nice, and well maintained, as is the pool area. The grills are old charcoal grills. Would be nice if they had gas grills. The hot tub is not that hot. The billiard table is old and the pockets have holes in them. The cue sticks are also in need of replacement or fixing. The rent is very affordable.

Not only did they call to tell me what happened, but they were able to replace the carpet, move all of my stuff outside to prevent it from ruining, and were extremely quick to handle the matter. I've had two other instances where my washing machine and microwave were not functional; they were able to repair or replace parts that were damaged within the week!! I also made a request to remove poison ivy growing in the flowerbed in front of my apartment, and in a few days it was gone! The lady's in the office were very easy to talk to and if I had any questions or concerns they were able to ease my mind. I am so glad that I was able to rent from this group, it has made my time in Fayetteville even more pleasant than expected. The only downside is the lack is guest parking. However the parking lot does require a parking decal or your car will be towed, which is promising to know you will have a place to park at your apartment and not have to park down the road like guests.

There was nothing salvageable in the home, not to mention the mold exposure and health risks that came with it. I should have trusted my gut during the process when they were so difficult and the poor state they let several of the houses we toured sit in. If I can sound the warning bells for any potential renter or buyer get a very very detailed mold inspection and don't trust any inspectors they recommend. We toured several of their properties and looking back they all had red flags of mold being covered up, I just did not know enough at the time. Also all the properties were severely lacking in maintenance and had been vacant for a while. Better yet, just don't rent from them and protect your families health and save yourself a headache!
