A whole lot of intelligent Googlers, including my girlfriend, and few outliers like myself from Amazon! Having a blast in an escape room.

What do you get when you have an escape room with 20 highly intelligent people, many of whom do not know each other? Escaping by the skin of your teeth! Let's get to the take aways from this team-building adventure that I was fortunate to be a guest for: 1) Lead and follow - it's a great setting to practice both of these and especially the one you need to work on! 2) Communicate, communicate, communicate - less is more in this experience and you need to be clear in your communication 3) Diversity makes for a phenomenal experience - it's incredible to be amidst such creative thinkers for solving different puzzles and bringing different perspectives to the table! 4) Divide and conquer - small teams are better to be broken up into at points and allows for you to get to know some of the other people a bit more! 5) Use your strengths and own your weaknesses - you can't be great at every puzzle in the room nor are you expected to be! 6) Have fun - at the end of the day, this is an awesome opportunity for many people that know and don't know each other to come together and enjoy an common hobby or experience...this is 100% a health-related opportunity! 10/10 recommend Reason Future Tech out in the Bay Area if you are looking for a team-building escape room experience! We played "Glitch" by the way if anyone was wondering!

Reason runs on AWS, so if there are problems, that's the source. It feels like a passion project by the owners, who are extremely invested in it. Mike led us through the escape room and helped us out when requested. There are three different escape rooms for different party sizes. We came here for Glitch and were able to spend a lot of time together as 12 people. A big thing you learn is communication is key, otherwise you spend time repeating challenges that have already been solved. At the end, we started guessing to finish the last two problems and discovered two bugs that Mike gladly heard and made note to fix, so again, you can tell they're passionate.

You have to dive deep to solve this!

Brought our team here and had a blast! Service is awesome, the rooms are super cool and it gave us a real tough challenge. Definitely recommend coming here if you have a big group and are looking to be challenged.

Fancy things in the lobby :3

Are there things we can do just as a small family? Not wanting to do an escape room or join another group.

Download geocaching app and find geocaches… lots of fun with kids.

What's the smallest number of players your rooms can go to? (I see minimum 10-person bookings on your website)

Hi there! The rooms require at least 5 players to be physically doable, but they do come with 10 player slots st a fixed cost.

Is Reason a good place for a youth's birthday party?

Sure thing! We host lots of kids and teenagers birthday parties!

    Is it just virtual reality?

It’s a real life escape room room with elements of VR and other technologies like 3D Printing, Holograms, etc.

The whole team had a blast and it was great to have drones, VR, and 3D printing involved in solving the room.

This new area was just like 7D Experience and The Flyer at Pier 39. And it's good to virtually ride alone. So bring your friends or loved ones with you to have a good dose of VR splendor. For starters, I chose the Blue Angels, which cost $10 for 3-4 minutes. Just imagine what it's like to ride behind the pilot while flying around the City by the Bay! I could've sworn I went completely upside down like a modern coaster ride. Might definitely come back to try the virtual Egyptian Tomb ride. It's good to see the owner used Lysol wipes to wipe away the VR device. As long as he's happy, so do I.

I asked if she was going to wipe/disinfect the head/eye piece and she said "we normally only wipe them end of the day." I kindly said I'm a nurse and they should be wiped between each customer. She pulled out a wipe and said "do you want to clean it?" I commented gently, "no I don't work here." She responded, "thanks for the comment I guess." If they followed proper hygiene they would have gotten 5 stars. I'm pleased to say the owner reached out to me and wrote me a very sincere email thanking me for my review and notifying him of the issue that he says will now be resolved and proper hygiene issues will be in place in the future. He also sent me a gc which was very nice.

I only found out about this event on the local news when they did a feature on it and made it look like the coolest thing since sliced bread. You probably didn't know sliced bread was cool, did you? Anyway I was sold, so I got tickets for Jamie W. and me. At first I thought $55 was rather steep, but what do I know about virtual reality? Except that Zuck plowed billions into it with Meta and just laid off 11,000 employees because the public wasn't ready for it. I sure wasn't ready, but this experience made me think I could be ready for an hour's worth of it before I go into sensory overload. As newly designated space explorers, Jamie and I were handed our bulky VR headsets. I have to admit I was amused at the sight of headset-wearing people in a huge warehouse space doing all sorts of random movements. Once our headsets got turned out, however, we were completely immersed into a walkable 3-D model of the International Space Station. It didn't matter if we were walking inside or outside of the station, we were defying gravity, baby. There were lots of floating blue orbs which you bat away in order to see videos of the actual station with astronauts talking to us face-to-face. We also experienced a spacewalk and could see Earth below our feet. I felt like Sandra Bullock in "Gravity" before the debris hit... ...and before George Clooney unplugged himself out of fear of spending eternity with a woman his own age. After allowing us to sit down to absorb the universe around us (and to let the next group come in), we took off our headsets and headed into a Star Trek-like room where Ryoji Ikeda's "The Universe Within the Universe" was displayed in all its kinetic glory. Ikeda's artistic vision was mesmerizing as it spanned from the microscopic to the macroscopic aspects of the cosmos (video: https://bit.ly/3ts6qMq). As we exited, I have to admit I felt a bit of motion sickness, and it wasn't virtual. Regardless, I was so awestruck that I bypassed the gift shop where I noticed they were selling actual View-Masters. This was a pretty awesome experience. Its an hour long experience where you get to tour the International Space station (real video footages). Its immersive so you get to walk around a large area.
