Biker & music hangout. Barmaid was friendly and provided us with prompt service. We ordered a couple beers and dam cheese burgers with fries. The Michigan game was on so we settled in to enjoy the game and our drinks. A different bartender stopped to converse with us about the game he took over serving our drinks. Our food arrived and we chowed down. The burgers and fries were decent size and the portions were great for the price. After our second round of drinks we called it a night. The venue of the place is full of different bands and two pools tables and a few arcade games are available for entertaining guests. Where do I start!!! Moved to TN about a year ago, live down the street from this bar so OF COURSE it's my go to! Instantly fell in love with the vibe and ambiance of this bar! Food is great! Salad to the chicken strips taste fresh!! Mind you I am coming from Ca so it's a tough competition; but of all the bars in Nashville I've been to in the last year this one wins! So. I came here for the shrimp, it is not bbq shrimp its more new Orleans style! I will not remove one star but they need to change the name to the most amazing shrimp and bread dip I've had in a long time! Not bar food at all! I don't leave reviews really at all, however I'm a bartender so I do find myself observing Andres was the first I met, extremely friendly on top of everything ! I also met Ashley and Tyler, they were very good and nice as well! Conclusion is, I recommend most definitely! Ok. This has changed over the past year for us. We keep putting up with bad service bc we love this place. Keep hoping it will change and giving them the benefit of the doubt. But today takes the cake. It was one of the first places we wanted to go after this pandemic. My son and his girlfriend went today and we were to meet them in a bit. The guy at the door told them his girlfriend's ID is fake. Huh? She is 25 and pursuing her masters degree. Not that her degree is a factor, but most people pursuing their masters is 21 or over. There was a police officer outside finishing up a report on a wreck. They asked her to run it. She said it was real but couldn't "get into it." As much money as we have spent here and take all of our out of towners here, we are done. Sucks to suck. read more

Came here because it was right by our Airbnb. Had a group of 6 and when we got there we were the only table and there were 4 people at the bar. Our server was new and very friendly. One of our group members got their food about 15-20mins before anyone else did. The rest of us got our food in random 5-10 minute increments, with the last food item coming out once everyone else was already done. The onion rings appetizer I got came with 6 rings and they were TINY. No one got a second beer or drink because they never came back to our table after our food was out. We sat there all finished with our meal for about 20 mins and no one came over. I eventually went up to the bar to get our tabs and the stood there and ignored me while they talked about an Instagram message. Finally I was able to ask for the tabs and they didn't give us any itemized receipts, only the final receipt after they already charged all our cards. About half of our group thought the prices were wrong and they got charged extra. Would've disputed it and gotten take our boxes but no one wanted to wait 30 more minutes for help. So I have seen this place every time I went to my vet next door but never thought to try it until now. Thanks to the new temp law for alcohol delivery Rebar is doing Bushwhacker deliveries so just had to try it after a stressful day. I just want to say this was the BEST experience I have had with delivery in a while. They are close to me so this helped but the lady that delivered was very nice and kept her distance but the food was AMAZING... Got a Chef Salad and they packed the box full and had plenty of everything in it. Also got a chili cheese dog that was amazing... The taste of the hotdog was great. Final item was the Bushwhackers, got a 1/2 gallon and holycrap they were good. Only had tried this downtown at one other place but this beat it by a mile. I highly recommend you try them while you are stuck at home and you should not be disappointed, especially if you get some bushwhackers...lol read more

My wife and I had a negative experience today (6/26/2021) at our mid-day line dance event with the owner, Rhonda Russell, of Rebar at The Dam. At 4:38pm, Rhonda came over to the DJ Booth and said the following: "1. I do not allow drinks over here and 2. You all are supposed to be gone." I was unaware who she was when she approached the DJ booth because we booked the space from 12-5pm through the manager, Matt. I informed my wife of the conversation Rhonda had with me; then, my wife and Rhonda spoke. Rhonda told my wife that we were supposed to be gone and that we are running off her regulars who do not like the music. Due to this encounter, we wrapped up our Mixer, paid our tabs, cleaned our area, and headed out to discuss further the conversation in the parking lot. I guess we were outside in the parking lot too long, so, Rhonda told a few on our guests that they have to leave now. It was a very disappointing end to the event and as a group of black people who patronized the establishment and were pushed out by the owner who was not pleased with our music (which was void of an explicit language), the encounter felt demeaning and racist. Really positive energy in this place. Great service. I was invited by a mentor and I'm so glad I went! I got the grilled fish tacos and 6 for $6 wings. After a few hours I asked for a water instead from the crew cut 1950 s throwback guy. He asked for my ID??? I just wanted water and refused to be IDENTIFIED again from the same people who knew me for a WATER ! Within minutes he had three female bar tenders and a bouncer ganging up threatening and harassing me. Because I asked for a WATER! This place is full of horrible staff which choose too harass a fifty year old veteran when he asked for a glass of water!!! Never go here! I do not mind spending my money at this negotiation but when it comes to integrity that's a different story. My interaction this past night involved a woman disrespecting my significant other. A friend of mine hosted an event with an agreed time of 12-5pm. The event was almost over and basically they turned up the "regular" music to drown out the music we were dancing to, because they were tired of hearing "our shit" (their words, not mine). The agreement was made with the manager and apparently there was no communication with the owner, who is the person who asked us to leave, in a very rude manner. Rhonda, the owner, approached my friend with an attitude...walked up on her, got in her face, pointing her finger, neck rolling, etc and complaining about us running off her regulars. We were welcomed with open arms, then the owner came with tons of unnecessary attitude. Then as we were leaving she came out to her car still making comments about us being there. We were belittled, degraded, and disrespected for no apparent reason! Everything was fine as long as we were spending money. But the 20 of us were "bothering" the 4 other patrons in the building so we were asked to leave... They don't EVER have to worry about us coming back or EVER recommending anyone come here. Keep your distance!! Unless you like rude, disrespectful, ignorant business "professionals", don't waste your time, energy, or money on this place. (I only gave 1 star so I could post my review. Front door didn't hesitate to run up to collect their cover charge but no one so much as came up to even offer menus let alone ask if we wanted something to drink. The place was not very busy and we were VERY patient. After 30 minutes of waiting (including motioning for a waitress who made eye contact with my husband and then turned and walked in the other direction) we left. Great bar near my house. Rebar is a nice dive bar and has really improved the cleanliness and quality of tables/bar/games compared to the old JCs. Beer is cheap and cheese wedges are delicious. Only complaint I have is that food is uneven, sometimes the breakfast will be great and other times it will be barely edible. More consistency in the kitchen would be a huge plus. read more

Came to Nashville and this was the closest bar to our hotel. Awesome venue and bartenders. Drinks are fairly priced and hardly a long Wait. Food is delicious and fairly priced as well. Love this bar and love the staff but you need to make sure you have enough staff to take care of your customers. Had a great band tonight but you did not have enough staff to handle the crowd. A creep was harassing my girlfriend while I was in the bathroom. When she asked the manager to get him to leave, he stood at the doorway and taunted her then charged at her again. The man at the door had to pull him away while she yelled at him to leave her alone. The manager then told her to leave as well since she yelled at him and "was causing a scene". She kicked her out into the same parking lot with the creep that was harassing her then called the police since she wouldn't leave the front door without me. Managers and staff need training on how to deal with these situations in a better way. A woman manager should've known better than this. Don't throw the helpless girl into the parking lot with the person that was trying to attack her in the bar!! At least let her wait for me to protect her in the parking lot for Christs sake. Paid a $10 cover charge for 1 drink a piece and my girlfriend being completely humiliated.
