*VERY CLEAN* I think this is the cleanest bar I have ever been to. Beer only. They have pool tables, shuffle boards and other things. Karaoke on Saturday. The bartender was super nice also! No food just chips and snack things.

Ok. Here we go. First off don't be turned off or away by the low key spot. It looks like a hole in the wall bar and guess what, it is! But please please stop by and enjoy this hidden gem. The staff here are welcoming and great. The beer is cheap as can be. You may feel out of place and you are. But they make you feel at home. I enjoyed my stay. No one made me feel out of place. They have shuffle board, electronic darts, jenga, pool, arcade games. But bottom line is this. The downtown bars are expensive and the music is hard to hear. This place is cheap, welcoming and the music is tolerable. Great place. The bathroom needs work but it's a bathroom. Deal with it.

Very dark, outdated, music is so loud you can not talk to the person next to you. The staff however are very kind and friendly.

This place was too smokey to enjoy anything. No matter how cheap the beer is, the atmosphere just isn't there for Nashville.

My hubby and friends have come to have a quick drink and bite and it's just always good vibes. Sometimes it's INSANE and LOUD and BUMPIN because of a game or match, and other times it's more chill and you can watch whatever is on the screen/tv and just chill. Either way, it's a lot of fun. The food is solid pub food -- we've enjoyed everything we've tried here and really don't have any complaints. I don't find a Scotch Egg many places, so I usually order when I see on the menu. Love it. Service is good, but also really depends on what is going on -- we haven't had to wait long nor have we had any issues with putting in orders or refills, but just manage expectations depending on why and when you are here.

I've been wanting to find a great Irish Pub in Mid TN, and I'm so happy Yelp lead me here!…read more I arrived around 6pm on a weeknight - there was plenty of parking in the lot, and our party was seated immediately. Not long after we ordered, there was live music, which set the perfect tone for the evening. One thing I really appreciated was the noise level in the low ceilinged room. The music brought energy and a great atmosphere, but was never too loud. We ordered the Scotch Eggs (a must!), fish & chips, bangers & mash, and Bailey's cheesecake. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot! The fast service, great vibes, and incredible service have me dreaming of my next visit to Mcnamara's!!

The staff are always nice and the food is always Delicious. They serve Apps, Salads, Sandwiches, Sides, Soup of the day and Have a Lunch Menu. They also serve some Irish Classics like Shepherds Pie, Irish Stew, Bangers and Mash, Fish & Chips and my personal favorite-- Corned Beef & Cabbage. They have a lounge upstairs and live Irish music almost every night starting around 6:00 p.m. You can go to their website and look at the calendar to see whether artists are playing on what specific night. If you want a little bit more quiet atmosphere, they have a dining area on the other side of the restaurant that is separate from the Stage and Bar Area, which BTW they have a full bar serving Irish Whiskeys, Beers and everything else you could want. It's located in Donelson about halfway in between the Airport and Opry Mills Mall. It's definitely worth checking out. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.. Slan libh

The food and service has been great all throughout the years, and has been one of the most consistent spots around. The Piccadilly (cod) fish & chips is always spot on; a light fluffy breading with a fantastic crunch. The chips are great, but level them up and ask for a side of curry. If you've never had mushy peas before this is the place to try them. Even if you've had mushy peas at other places, still give these a try anyways. They're unlike any other. Nashville is a music town, throw a rock and you'll find a great spot at a bar playing music. Some of the bars have a stage where bands are jammin'! I'm looking for something different, something more contemporary, live jazz and a speakeasy feel. Skull's Rainbow Room delivered. Walking up to Printer's Alley, it's already giving off speakeasy vibes. I did my classic move, Get to the restaurant early and tell the waitress I'm so hungry and promise I won't be here all night. Man... I was set up with a great table and was told I have less than two hours. (I mean, I am Bill S from New York, I can be quite persuasive) My waiter comes over, we start talking about the east coast, how he misses New Jersey but loves his new home in Nashville. I order a martini and thick Prime Rib cut along with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. My drink comes out quickly and now I am in the jazz zone. These guys rocked it! Great music along with strong cocktails, I laugh and say to myself: I'm getting paid to be here! My steak comes to the table very quickly. Man this steak cut is a thing of beauty. The au jus with a bite of the truffle mashed potato, heaven. Now the piano player start playing The Love Theme from The Godfather?? Am I in heaven or.. are they trying to seduce me to the other side as I order another cocktail? Just a fantastic night, from the music to the food and libations at Skull's Rainbow Room. My waiter says, it's been two hours, would you like your drink brought to the bar? I declined as I paid my check. Skull's Rainbow Room is a must stop when in Nashville. You can check out any time you want.. but you can never leave!

As someone with a dairy allergy, I always make sure that my server understands my limitations when ordering from a new menu. Our server seemed to not be knowledgeable of what "dairy" or milk is, and after I ordered the fish and chips, she went to confirm if there was dairy in the batter. There was immediately hostility from her when it was time to change my order, as the fish batter did have milk in it. My husband modified my order to a tuna salad sandwich, verifying that this was a dairy-free option. However, she didn't seem to realize that butter was also dairy, and would have served me a buttered toasted bread with my sandwich if my father in law hadn't of thought to verify. I did not see her smile or greet any guests warmly in the time we were in the pub, which I usually don't care about, but when a server is openly hostile towards a party, it sours everyone's experience. My husband's bangers and mash was badly burned and the tuna salad was incredibly lack luster. The only positive scores of our experience was the cozy atmosphere and the soup of the day.
