This is a big dive bar. They have a big stage where you would think live music was offered but they don't offer it. No live music on this side of the city at this place. This is a smoking bar so if you don't like that then skip the visit. They have pool tables and a music box. They have a patio too. They are in the back of the shopping center. Not sure if they offer food. Average price for drinks. They have a few beers on tap and bottles. If you live or are visiting the area then sure come in but don't make a special trip, they don't have live music, did I mentioned that? :( read more

I've only been here once. I've been working on this side of town for just a couple months now and got my haircut here, so I figured I'd check out the bar. I'm glad I did; I really liked this place. The bartenders were sexy, flirty, and helpful. The other bar patrons were chill and not crazy drunks. Best of all, nobody was screaming over some sports games, which I see all too often this time of year. They even have pool tables, so bring a friend if you like playing pool! There are only two reasons I didn't give this five stars. Firstly, this is a smoking bar. That doesn't bother me too much like it does some people, as long as I don't have a smoker sitting next to me. But if you do smoke, this is the place for you. If you don't, but you don't mind the smell, check it out too. If you do mind it, definitely avoid this place though. Only other reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they don't have Shiner Bock, my favorite beer, here. If I were in New York, that would be fine, but so many Nashville bars sell it, so I'm not sure why they don't here. The cute bartender gave me a suggestion though. It was some Gaelic ale, and I really liked it, and I'm more of a lager guy than an ale guy. It's a dive bar. So it is complete with everything you'd expect. Pool tables. Dark lighting. Smell of stale cigarette smoke. Risky toilet seats. Old dudes way too interested in the bartender. Etc. With that said service is always great and prices are reasonable. Plus they have some outside seating. read more

Good bar. It's not closed by the way. Great staff. Always friendly. Could expand their food menu some. Would be nice to have pretzels and or nuts for snacks. It is a smoking bar. It's fun. Stopped in there just after arriving in town. Four of us walked in to a silent greeting. We asked if the kitchen was still open as it was about 8:30 PM. We were told that it was so we seated ourselves at a table near the bar. After about twenty minutes we finally just got up and left. It's a dive bar. They have pool tables a juke box and karaoke on certain days. This isn't a hipster bar it's a dive bar. Full of smokers. Of course it smells like smoke. Bar tender is friendly and beers are decently priced. I came in to play some pool and smoke some cigs. Mission accomplished. Don't hate on a place for exactly what it is. Lucky's used to be the neighbor of the husbands favorite crappy pizza joint, so after inviting a few friends out to the boonies of Donelson for a show we sorta hosted. (Yes, we hosted a piano singer at a pizza buffet, don't judge us) we headed over to Lucky's. For being in a strip mall in Donelson it is a surprisingly alright place. Its got kind of a wannabe silly tropical theme going on, but the beer is a reasonable price, the bartender was timely and it looked like they had a set up for live music. Warning - don't forget your ID - as I recall they are sorta nazi's about the proof of age thing, even if you are clearly over 21. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but as a neighbor of the now non-existent pizza place, it was an okay stop off for a bevvie. read more

I kinda like this place. It's got your typical dive bar kind of feel with decent food and decent beer prices. The bar sort of reminds me of a tiki hut, which is pretty cool in middle TN. The TV's are 40-50" flat screens, so its a good place to watch sports. There's an area for live music, and a few pool tables. Food is decent to above average for a dive bar. My only complaints are that there is smoking inside, which is bothering for a lot of people. Also, the bathrooms are pretty terrible. Again though, it is a dive bar so those two things are fairly common. Overall, nice place for a beer after work or to watch the game. read more

Great neighborhood dive bar. Karaoke starts at 10pm on Friday and Saturday. They always have ALL the games on their 6 big tv's! Happy hour is everyday from open until 7pm. They don't have table service, but all the bartenders are FREAKIN AWESOME, especially Michelle on Saturdays! read more
