If I could give Rebecca negative stars I would. Additionally if I could vote to have her never be able to conduct business with a couple or for a wedding again, that would be my route. The services and contract in which we hired Rebecca for was our wedding in Santa Ana, CA January, 19, 2019. I am an active duty military member and am stationed outside of California. Rebecca was recommended to us by a photographer that was previously recommended to us but unavailable for our day. The contracts final product that we paid for fully in advance included a five minute highlight video and a 15-20 minute EDITED video of the entire wedding, including vows, speeches, ceremony and reception. Note: with a six week turn around. All seemed perfect on our wedding day and not even a few days after we were given a 25 sec clip of a kiss/spin of my husband and I. We were in bliss thinking Rebecca was pure GOLD. After 8 weeks (not 6, like we paid for) I reached out to Rebecca asking for an update for our video. The below is a re-cap of the back and forth. - March 18 She told me she had a few transitions that needed to be edited and she would have it sent to us in a "flash". - April 4 I asked for an update, no response. - April 11 I reached out again, no response. - April 12 I called and left a voice mail, no response. I also messaged all three of Rebecca's IG accounts, no response. - April 17 I called again and left a voice mail, no response. I also sent a text with no response. I reached out to her partner/boyfriend on IG as well. - Finally on April 18 Rebecca's boyfriend Woodie Landeros responded and Rebecca contacted me via IG calling and told us about an issue with her virtual assistant and she would have the links to us that night or first thing in the morning. - We didn't receive anything from her until I again reached out on April 19, from then on we were told that she "thought" the flash drives were at home, but they were at the studio and she would have them right over. Five hours later I had to reach out again and was told a wind storm knocked out the WiFi and would take another hour to upload via a hotspot. Another almost 5 hours later I received the two links to the ceremony and reception. At 1 am I received a text stating the highlight video would be another 20 minutes. It never came. The ceremony video consisted of primarily footage from the back of the church, where it mostly captures the back of everyone's heads and not the actual ceremony. The reception intros left out groomsmen and the DJ's audio was cut off awkwardly. There was also no footage of cocktail hour or group dancing which was part of the reception. We reached out to her boyfriend/partner because Rebecca decided to just cut ties and no longer do her job. He promised us he would complete what she failed to finish and get us the videos. -May 1 we finally received our highlight video. Although beautiful there were things we wanted to change, but didn't bother asking for fear we would never see it. They put a song that didn't go with our vibe or theme, (despite asking us to list out possible songs) the vows they put in it are so quiet under the music that they should have just been left out. Additionally, we were told that the ceremony and reception footage they sent to us was by accident, meaning they didn't send the edited video, only the raw video. So now we are at July 14, 2019 (6 months later) and after about a month of Woodie sending my husband non workable links...we STILL do not have our edited video. And it has been an entire month since he's responded to us. I have been in the military for 15 years and am deployed more often than not lately, otherwise legal action would have already been taken. It's difficult to attend court proceedings out of state/country. I have asked them over and over and given them so many chances to just simply provide us our edited video or give us the raw footage and part of our payment back so we can have a professional edit it. No response. So now, I have to take "leave" to figure this out legally. I've waited six months to leave a review just hoping they would pull through. Still nothing. Their actions are beyond unprofessional and I truly hope that no other newlywed couple has to go through this. read more
