Besides further research, she has referred me to specialists who she communicated with, and advocated for me when she didn't think a specialist was treating my case with the urgency she felt it warranted. She has also helped interpret other doctors' notes, lab reports & x-rays for me so that I understood what they meant. Availability has been so valuable. Every time I have called her office with some ailment, I have been able to get in to see the doctor that day. When I have sent Dr. Witman an email summarizing visits with specialists...she responded off-hours even if it was a weekend or evening. I have been (until the last 4 weeks) been a healthy young woman and only visited her on the routine occasions for the regular check ups etc. about a month ago i developed a sever back issue that is still going on. I have seen her about 4 times in the past month as she is tireless in trying to find the right resolution for my pain. She is so friendly and understanding, I know that she has my best interest at heart. I'm also very glad at how young she is as she won't be retiring anytime soon and I hope she is my doc forever. Everyone at the downtown location is very courteous and fast, and friendly. I've hit the Urgent care 3 times and always been seen very quickly. All that aside though, Dr. Falquier rocks. But the nurse is saying that Dr. Marshal has a "Buy and Bill" policy. Meaning I would have to pay all of it upfront, wait for the insurance to cover it, and then the Dr. would pay me back.... Why should the patient pay anything out of pocket when the insurance is saying they will cover it 100%. What kind of operation is this??? She broke out last winter after a fungal infection, Covid, and several congestions. The pediatrician, Allergist, and Dermatologist all prescribed a steroid, told us to apply it, and that she would grow out of it. The steroid creams were not helpful because not only it wasn't safe to apply for more than 3-5 days, but the eczema would come back worse and you'd have to apply again. It was a vicious cycle..
