I've worked with Rebel Racing on several occasions for everything from simple repairs to a major bike restoral after my bike was stolen and recovered and in every instance, they have always been reasonably fair in pricing, quick in turn around, perform expert, excellent work every time and they are very personable, customer service oriented. I see all the good reviews and honestly I must be missing something. I will give 2 stars for the prices being so low, however be aware you are buying a Chinese piece of crap. PLUS in the advertisement, the price stated $599 with absolutely zero "fine print". I expected the price to be $599 plus tax... WRONG. They tack on assembly fees, and at the time I purchased mine they said they couldn't do the green sticker for me? I ended paying around 1200 out the door with all the stupid fees they tacked on. I would recommend you purchase a brand name quad that will last longer and give you less issues. These quads have a history of poor electrical wiring and they will all of sudden die on you for no reason, then when you try to take it in for Rebel to take a look at it they charge I believe 75 an hour... lol good luck. read more

I was looking for some quads for my 6 & 8 year olds. I shopped at the dealerships (way over priced) and also craigslist. Didn't find anything suitable. Then I discovered Rebel Racing and I'm so glad I did. Met the owner David and his staff. He HOOKED us up!! I walked out with two brand quads for the price of one at the dealer. Plus he gave us our first service for free. He also gave me a huge discount on gear. Took the quads out this weekend and did not have any issues. Runs great. I had two older Chinese quads that weren't working and had them diagnose the problems. Unfortunately for me, the company had been out of business for a long time so I was unable to get replacement parts for the significant problems they had. I was down in the dumps because I was leaving for Ocotillo the next day and didn't have bikes for my nephews to ride. But Dave and his crew took care of me. Dave gave me a smoking deal on a 110cc quad brand new out of the crate. They showed me everything I needed to know about it and loaded it in my truck. Definitely recommend this place. This is my second time here and both times I left satisfied with the amazing service. I was greeted instantly when i dismounted my motorcycle. The gentleman took some information down and passed it to Daniel and David inside. These two guys were extremely helpful. They even took the time to explain some DMV paperwork that had nothing to do with them! I met Carlos, the technician, and he is just absolutely knowledgeable and awesome. He took time to explain everything he was going to do, showed me what he did, and then explained the services I will have coming up. I Actually had an issue with a bolt breaking off Inside of my sons kick start on his racing bike. Owner was super cool as well as mechanic. They new he needed it for a race had it in and out in an hour 45$. Easy fix but with out the tool I couldn't get it out. Other places wanted over $100...anyways so far so good I will repost after he rides, but for now on service and price I am giving them 5 stars. Hopefully, it holds. I called this shop about having my quad reviewed and they were super cool about me taking it in, as soon as I arrived they were super professional they had a solution to what was wrong with my quad once there they suggested other fixtures witch I went for. My quad was running within 2 weeks. The break in period for the quad worked fine up until my second full tank of gas my quad gave out instead of taking it back I decided to take it to another shop only to find out that all the work done to my O rings was completely done wrong. My motor was fried and had to replace it. so much for spending over 1,000$ on these guys, the other shop apologized for Rebel Racing's mistake and gave me a hefty discount now I'm riding super comfortable in my quad. I wouldn't recommend this shop for service. read more

Don't buy here!!! This place is a joke! I bought a small quad for my daughter and it only lasted one tank of gas before it stopped working. When I took it in to get it checked out they told me a valve was stuck and it would be cheaper to buy a new Motor for $400 and you fix it which would cost $470 or that I could buy a whole new one for $500. Don't get suckered like I did, and stay as far away from this place as possible. Reply to you BS: Obviously you are an idiot, or don't know how to read, because i do not know of anybody that would think they had to do maintenance on a brand new vehicle before the first tank of gas has been used. As far as the governor screw being out, You are a lying P O S! I bought the quad for my 2 year old daughter, and had the governor screwed all the way down for her, so it never went above 4 mph, and the screw was in there when we took it to you for maintenance. The screw did not go missing until 2 weeks later when you finally needed to come up with another excuse as to why you guys did not damage the quad, and why it was our fault. The funny thing is that when it first came back to you after service, you said that the piston ring was stuck, and how that could not be your fault, because you test ride every vehicle before you return it to a customer, so you were the last one to ride the quad, which means you ran it without the governor screw in it, which means you are the reason the valve got stuck. You suck, your products suck, your mechanics suck, and your entire shop is full of s! 2nd reply I am starting to see a pattern here. So, first it was a piston ring, and when I called you out for just doing the oil change and possibly getting debris in the motor. Then you switch your excuse to a stuck valve. Your excuse for the stuck valve was that the governor screw was missing, even though it was there when we dropped it off, and when I call you out for doing the test ride without the governor screw, now all of a sudden the valve is bent because you think we were riding doubles on it. I know you're an idiot, but I thought you would at least know the horrible product you sell, but since you don't, let me enlighten you. Governed all the way down this quad will go about 4 mph, that is about the speed of a power wheel which are made for kids to ride without any protective gear. This quad is also sold with a remote Killswitch, so that the vehicle can be shut off at any time, a safety feature you might want to mention next time you're scamming somebody into buying one. So, yes I did have my two-year-old ride alone on a quad that could not go over 4 mph, with a remote Killswitch in my hand, in a controlled environment, while she wore protective gear. I will be waiting for your next BS excuse, and looking forward to the next way you try to fabricate the truth. Final edit After everything that happened above, I picked up the quad and took it to my normal mechanic who put in a spark plug and tightened everything down, because the mechanics at Rebel Racing left the quad far from put back together. My mechanic cleaned the carburetor and charged up the battery and the quad started right up and has ran ever since, and he has no idea what could have been wrong with it, which confirms my thought that I was getting scammed by Rebel Racing. However, about 3 weeks after my initial post the owner of Rebel Racing did call me to apologize for what happened and offered to replace the motor on the quad for free, blaming everything on his new manager, the previously mentioned idiot and POS in this post. The owner David is a stand up guy, who just has an idiot with no integrity or care for customer service working for him. When I told David that the quad is running and there is no need to replace the motor, he offered to refund the $130 dollars his manager charged me for the tune up that started this whole mess, which was another stand up move. David ended up sending me a check for $200, along with a note apologizing once again for what had happened, which was very appreciated after the BS his POS manager made me deal with. I like David, the owner, and wish him the best, but I can't recommend anybody do any business with Rebel Racing until they get rid of that manager. YOU NEED TO FIRE THAT POS!!!!! read more

Had some mini bike tires removed from the rims and new air stems put in the rims. They did the work on the spot for a fair price.

Please do not take your Ducati here. Didnt have time to do my own oil change, and motoforza ducati had burned down so i took it here. Terrible decision. My bike has been leaking ever sense. I took it down to the new motoforza location and they tell me my oil plug if forced in and is crooked which is allowing oil to leak. Oil plug was likely forced in by a power tool instead of hand tightening like the owners manual suggest. This is a very expensive issue to resolve read more

Rebel racing is the Bomb! I bought 2 quads from them before thanks giving and gave them to my kids for xmas. They were very helpful. Over the past few trips, we have had problems here and there and they have handled them with out a single question. They even rebuilt a motor for me at no charge since the warrantee people were giving them a hard time about my quad. I really like their mechanics. They have been incredibly helpful and really easy to talk to. They take the time to explain alot to you. I highly recommend paying them a visit. For purchase or for general repairs. read more

I cant even give them 1 star. The Service department is so UNETHICAL! Total crooks. Took my bike in for a carb issue..thats all I asked them to repair. And they called and said I needed this and that and it would be a couple grand. I know the condition of my bike and that "this and that" was not needed. So I told them to forget it and went to pick up my bike. They handed me parts to my carb that they ordered, said they couldnt return them, and charged me 160.00. The parts they made me buy were the wrong parts. Then they argued with me about what carb my bike had. So like the other bad posts here, I would stay away from those scammers! read more

Took it out for one trip didn't even put a full tank of gas through it and started having problems. We call them they nicely told us to come on down and they would fix it charged us $140 and told us it was fixed, took it home couldn't get it started took it back. David was very short with information and when trying to find a carburetor main jet he only gave me stories about how long he has been working on bikes and you can't go up in jet sizes. This shop accepted my 2005 Ducati Monster 620 to evaluate my ignition problems as I replaced the motor with an earlier 2004 model. I informed this shop the work I have done and what I need them to do. Ahead of any work performed I explained some parts on the engine are from an 05. My new-lower-mileage engine is from an 04. Following confirmation from Ducati Newport Beach, this engine should start up although the only part on the 04 engine that is 05 (different part#) Magnetic bowl attached to the flywheel is different. All timing has not changed. I verified part numbers on the two engines for possible differences. There are none. SAME ENGINE, so why no start? This shop could not get it started. After I brought the bike home. I did manage to get the engine started, although not smooth, it ran. The shop could not get this far as I got. They may be great at all other bikes, BUT. NOT DUCATI's I don't appreciate being lied to by a shop that does not SPECIALIZE in Ducati's. I asked, they said yes. This apparently was to collect $180 from me. This is as far as I got before I took my bike to Newport Beach Ducati to be handled by DUCATI MASTER Technicians. I gave these guys a chance to avoid the drive to Newport. Never again! read more

ZERO STARS! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH REBEL RACING. When purchasing a dirt bike, the owner (David Elias) fraudulently scammed me out of $336. David originally quoted me $1100.99 out the door, and when we came back to pick up our paid-for bike, we were charged a new total of $1436.99 with an explanation of the larger model being more expensive to assemble. David explicitly stated both large model (motocross size) and small model (pit bike size) were the same exact price out the door - $1100.99. However, once he had our $1100.99 and went to the "warehouse" to pick up the bike, upon pickup the price mysteriously went up and we owed more money. We were left with no choice but to pay, as he would not refund the $1100.99. In addition, the bike is Chinese junk. First time out riding, the left-side magneto cover rattled loose within 20 minutes. The bolts were completely lost in the track dirt and our day was cut short. Once home, we discovered that the majority of bolts were loose and not torqued correctly. Multiple bolts had to be replaced. The second time out, we got to the track only to have the back tire go flat within half an hour of riding. The repair shop that replaced the tube later on informed us that the spokes were loose and poked the tube from the inside. On the third ride, the bike ran well, however once we got home we discovered the front rim was bent. I am a beginner rider and never even left third gear. This bike and this entire experience has been a complete nightmare. SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND HEADACHE AND DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM REBEL RACING OR DAVID ELIAS. SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND GET A BRANDED BIKE FROM A REPUTABLE SHOP/DEALER. read more

I took my bike in for a tune up and oil change. All together it was around $700.00 and the price I paid was average for the amount of work I had done. When I came in everyone was real nice the owner wasn't there when I dropped it off but I talked with one of the two mechanics. He seemed real nice talked like he had been doing it for a bit. Any way with all that aside when I came in and paid the 700 for the tune up they walked me out to my bike. That's when I noticed the multiple gouges in the brand new fairings I put on literally days before I gave them my bike. After looking over the bike a quick second I noticed a huge dent and scratch across my gas tank that wasn't there before. When I brought it up and confronted them with it, the owner denied having anything to do with it. He asked the two mechs they too had "nothing to do with it" either. Then they went on to blame it on me and acted like I was trying to get one over on them. I ended up eating it because I had no way to prove it was them my word vs there's. never again. read more

We purchased a quad for our son for his birthday in May, 2013. He had only ridden it about 10 times and things had repeatedly gone wrong with the bike. It seemed like every time he rode it, something else failed. Towards the end of last year, the frame on the bike broke, and I finally called David (the owner) to see what could be done with this lemon of a bike. Furthermore, I did not feel comfortable putting my child on a bike that's frame had been compromised. At first, David seemed willing to help me. I took the bike back to him and he had it for a few weeks, but then called to tell me that the manufacture wouldn't do anything about it. I explained that I didn't buy the bike from the manufacture; I bought the bike from him. It became a heated conversation and he ended up hanging up on me. My husband when to pick up the bike shortly thereafter, and David told him to leave it and that he was really trying to make things right. In the end, he came back to us with an offer to buy a new bike at half the cost (his cost), which was completely unacceptable. He sold us a lemon and was not willing to back the sale. We picked up the broken bike this weekend and he had nothing to say. It is really disappointing that there are people out there who will take advantage of any and every one to make a buck. We'll have to figure something else out for our son because he now has a bike he cannot ride. I was not going to risk doing business with David again. I would tell everyone to steer clear of David Elias and Rebel Racing. Do not buy from them. You will be sorry! read more
