Terrible billing problems and extremely expensive for sub par coaches. My daughter was here for 2 years (3-5) and still hadn't learned how to do a cartwheel. It's an overly expensive place for childcare essentially. Their makeup class policy is awful as well. Billing has been terrible from the beginning. We never received our free class, they withheld the following months payment so when they implemented their price hike, I was charged $310 for both months even though I should have only paid $125 for the prior month. I called many times and left vm to have the membership cancelled without any calls back. I was then charged $193! Sent many emails asking for cancellation without a response. Received notification we are getting billed again now for $155. Tiffany finally answered the phone today. Very rude and disrespectful. **Update** Even though we provided more than 30 days notice of cancelling our enrollment, emailed back and forth directly with the owner Tiffany, wrote a physical note to her two weeks ago at the gym asking if our enrollment had been cancelled, and left her voicemails we were STILL charged for the month of June even though we are no longer going to this gym. I left her a voicemail on Tuesday kindly asking why we were charged and as of today (Saturday) there is no reply. Simply unbelievable. Updating to one star. read more

The good, the bad and the ugly. The good: My daughter loved being in a group of like minded girls. She made a little family in the two years she worked out at this gym. She also enjoyed some of her coaches. She was dedicated to a 16 hour schedule and never complained. In the beginning, we had the issues listed below but because my daughter was enjoying it , I decided to let it go for her sake. I reminded her that I would NEVER do business with someone like Tiffany, and neither should she....EVER. The bad: The owner is HORRIBLE with communication! You will notice how most, if not all, of the negative reviews mention this because it is 100% true. She demands stuff from her gymnasts, and us parents, without much notice. There is rarely communication for when the gym will be closed. For example, she will decide to close the gym for a long weekend the day before it happens. She will not return your emails when she specifically asks for a 24-48 hours turnaround time. She has a few elite and higher level gymnasts she spends most of her time working out with on a regular basis. She can not keep employees around to save her life! There is almost never anyone at the front desk. Her office manager works remotely, yet we rarely hear back from her either as she needs to get "permission" from Tiffany. At one time, we were told to attend a mandatory competition out of state. When the girls got ready to do their floor and bar routine, Tiffany realized she taught them the wrong one entirely. It was a total mess!! The ugly: You are required to pay cash/check into a commitment account in which she will utilize for competitions, apparel (way overpriced) $200 administrative fees, $75 locker fee and other miscellaneous items as she sees deems necessary. There is not a contract of goods shown to you beforehand, yet she expects it to be paid by a certain date. This commitment account is completely separate from your monthly gym payment which is only done via credit card. She keeps a spreadsheet through Google Docs for you to see what's been purchased. She states she has based the total off funds paid out in years past. I have called her out on competitions she says she has signed us up for but when in reality, we have not. I have also verified with the individual gyms directly. When my daughter decided to quit, we were told she would work on getting my $1100 refund out to me. After weeks of emails, voicemails and text messages she would not return, I decided to show up at the gym. She ignored me for about 20 minutes before finally acknowledging me. She would not look at me but asked what I wanted. When I reminded her that I've been reaching out, she said she doesn't respond to text messages. She told me I would get my money sometime after the season but could not give me date. When I told her it was unacceptable she said she didn't care. I told her I would reach out to the BBB, tell other parents and write a bad yelp review, she told me "Go for it!" So here I am letting you all know what to expect should you decide to join this gym. Lastly, my daughter has been so much happier since leaving. We didn't realize, because she is a hard worker, how much stress she was under while being at this gym. Fair warning to anyone considering Rebound. Tiffany (owner) is running this business into the ground. Coaches are leaving and it's causing classes to have to mesh together. My poor daughter has gone 4 weeks+ without her normal class and stuck being absorbed into a tumbling class with kids 2-3 years younger than her. She comes home miserable!!! When we tried to cancel, Tiffany would not budge on their cancellation policy and was still going to charge us for additional weeks. Tiffany expectations are that we come on a different date and time if we want our child in the class we originally signed up for. For anyone with kids and navigating multiple afterschool activities this can be more difficult to figure out than calculus. It gets even better. A few days ago, Tiffany spammed all of the families with a "poor me" email trying to explain what was happening. Her family is growing... yeah mine too. She travels to all of the country to her star student events and can't run a business simultaneously. Turnover is tough in this economy. Blah blah blah... In the end, it sounded like she was plugging the success of her star student than taking any accountability for what was happens at this business. She is clearly in over her head and only cares about that 1 student. Tiffany if and when you read this, do better. Treating families like this is not right. We have supported your business for multiple years. Looks like karma is catching up. On a bright note, we have officially signed up at a new gym and our daughter is literally doing backflips and can't wait to start! read more

Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a company. I enrolled my two girls in classes in person face to face with the front desk manager and somehow every single thing she told me was incorrect. When I brought this to the attention of the owner I got even more conflicting and wrong information. I was told it would be $205 for my kids classes but somehow every month they have charged me over $300. I was told I paid my membership fee for each kid but EVERY month they have charged me again and said they didn't. Every single time they charge my card it was way more than what they told me it would be and every time I had a simple question I was given wrong information. After they charged my card $600 in one month I asked for a refund and for my girls to be dropped right away and they refused to do so. Title: Think Twice Before Enrolling Your Child at Rebound West Gymnastics As a parent, choosing the right environment for your child is paramount, and unfortunately, Rebound West Gymnastics has been a major disappointment. Echoing concerns similar to other recent reviews, our time at Rebound West Gymnastics began over 3 years ago on a positive note and for the last 2 years has continued to decline until we ultimately decided it was best to part ways and find another gym. The Disorganization: Communication from the gym's management, especially the owner, Tiffany, is severely lacking. Important notifications, such as unexpected gym closures, are communicated at the last minute, causing inconvenience and frustration. Last minute ad-hoc practices are the norm, are MANDITORY on days practice is not scheduled, and are to be paid on the day of the ad-hoc practice IN CASH. Phone calls and e-mails go unanswered, so there is no one to communicate concerns to, ask questions or discuss financial accounts with. The overall management is chaotic, which is evident from their high staff turnover and nearly non-existent front desk assistance. There are many coaches who have come and gone that are wonderfully committed to being a positive presence in the lies of the gymnasts. However, the overarching issues heavily outweigh the small glimmers that shine due to these coaches. Financial Concerns: The financial practices here are highly questionable. I have heard horror stories from families in the recreational program. On team, you're required to contribute to a commitment account for expenses like competitions and apparel, but given no clear contract or itemized list beforehand. Families are notified with just weeks to come up with cash for this account, amounting to more than $1,500. This fund is managed through a google spreadsheet which is updated rarely. It includes coaches fees, meet entry fees, annual locker fees, etc. A Cautionary Tale: After we made the difficult decision to move gyms, I was told their gym policy was to refund commitment accounts within 45 days of the last meet of the season. This last season ended the first weekend of February. February 5: I was in contact with Tiffany on regarding their policy and my refund. March 22: I sent a follow up email to Tiffany inquiring about the refund of remaining funds, no response. April 2: I sent another follow up email to Tiffany asking when to expect a check to be mailed, no response. April 8: I sent another email to Tiffany asking for an update April 8: Received an email response from another mom on the team who was assisting with parent communication. She asked for patience as Tiffany had been traveling internationally with their star gymnast. May 3: I sent another email asking for a date of when I could expect to have a resolution to the remaining funds in our account This has been an extremely disheartening episode concerning a refund--which has taken an inordinate amount of time and effort on my part to resolve-- and still has not been resolved! I feel compelled to advise other parents to consider alternative options for their child's gymnastics training. We as parents also deserve a supportive and well-managed environment, and unfortunately, Rebound West Gymnastics falls short on these aspects. Our experience here ended up being more stressful than enriching, and my daughter has since found joy and genuine development in another gym. Please, look around and choose wisely Warning: If a family wants to leave, the gym strictly enforces their cancelation policy. Such requests are to be submitted in writing in person with a 30 day notice. An e-mail does not suffice. You will continue to be charged monthly if you do not go through all of the appropriate hoops set up to disenroll. I would love to share with every one who's looking or trying to finding a great place for their kids to do gymnastics, that we have been at rebound west for the last 4 1/2 years. And my girls could not be more satisfied and happy of what they have achieved and learned in this gym. I, as a mom think that practicing a sport is not only about the skills, which they learn with so good coaching and guidance and with very high quality. But is also about learning to be responsable, confident, respectful, good team member, cheering for your team and friends, hard working and many more things. After having my girls here I found that there is not perfect place. There will be always things that we might not like as parents but there is not such perfect place. But I could definitely tell you that if you want your kids to be in a nice, safe environment with good high quality coaches, and all the skills that I mentioned before (Tiffany owner, Nikos, LaShawn) this will be your number one option. Coaches are wonderful, but owner is TERRIBLE with management and communication. Coaches have been great, but they ALL leave. We've been there for about 4 years with multiple kids and have seen 4 employees leave. Unfortunate, because training is good, but not worth the stress of last minute cancelations, no show coaches, day of notifications. If you are looking for horrible communication, to have schedules changed on a whim, and to never get feedback on the progress of your child, then this is the right place for you. Changing our schedule from 4 to 7:30 to 2:30 to 6 was impossible without taking her out of school early, and no one seemed to care that my daughter was missing key parts of the practice. They can't keep good coaches because the owner is so difficult to work with. We are now driving 20 minutes further away for another gym, because it got to a point that our daughter who loves gymnastics was no longer excited to go to practice. I cannot describe how disappointed I am in not only myself (for being fooled by the leadership of Rebound Gymnastics), but in the staff and managers who made my life a living hell for several weeks until the day I took my child from this hell hole and never looked back. Tiffany, the owner, is thee single most egotistical, self centered, unprofessional woman I have ever met. Responsiveness? Not in her vocabulary. Honesty. She has never done an honest thing in her life. I've been overcharged on several occasions, told I owe additional fees which I have found out are bogus, and even told to "take my child to skid row to play in traffic". I have never felt more disrespected in my life than by this woman. The silver lining.. at least there are some employees working for Tiffany, despite their micromanaging ***** of a boss, that actually care for the well being of my child. If you have any sense you will use any of the other dozen competitors in the area. I have recently started taking my daughter to Scottsdale gymnastics and don't regret my decision one bit. read more

We have been coming to Rebound off and on for about 2 1/2-3 years. We have had a beyond great experience with Ms. Amy who is no longer there. She handled the the preschoolers and "My buddy and me" classes. She has now moved on to another studio. After I moved my daughter up to the 4 year old classes with different teachers, there was never any consistency with the instructors and I felt like they just didn't care about my daughter. Rebecca, the office manager was always wonderful, but she is no longer working there full-time and doesn't seem to have the ability to make as many decisions now, working remotely. We tried going back to summer camp this year with my 3 year old son and recommended it to a friend because my daughter enjoyed it last year. We had signed up for full days for my daughter, but it was a slower week and there were no other girls close to her age (5-6) in the full day group for the week, so my daughter wasn't comfortable. The girl checking them in said I could move her to the half day for the week to be with her brother and we would receive either a credit, or possibly a refund. I never heard back from the manager or the owner, Tiffany, after many a phone message with Lexi (very sweet, but had no ability to do anything) over two weeks and an email or two. I was so disappointed. After our positive experience with Ms. Amy and Rebecca, I thought I would've at least received a call back. I had heard from another mom about the bad reviews for RWG, but I was really trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. Another issue when we were taking classes there was that the monitor, where you watch your child (the preschoolers) in the waiting room, was out for multiple weeks and I was told "Tiffany was very busy and out of some with the competitors". It appeared that she only cares about her older gymnasts, which is surprising since they should all be treated equally with respect and the young ones are the life blood of the studio. This really left a bad taste in my mouth. My girlfriend who brought her daughter to camp with us had to pull her out after the first day and she was never called back or credited for the rest of the week either. Our daughter has been at Rebound for over 5 years and the experience she has gained as an athlete has been tremendous. Learning as a young girl to be strong, determined, focused and respectful is so important as they grow up. Even though they compete as individuals, they also learn to be a part of a team. That kind of life experience is invaluable!! If you are looking for a gym for your child to succeed, be pushed and learn about determination and commitment, Rebound is your best option. The coaching is unmatched. Tiffany, LaShawn and Nikos are the best of the best. They are all decorated athletes and competitors themselves. There's no one better to instruct your child. Tiffany's track record on producing TOP TIER athletes speaks for itself. National titles, and representing the US in international competitions is so impressive. I'm proud that my daughter is a part of that kind of elite training. If you are willing as a parent to allow your child to learn and be pushed, you've found your home with Rebound. WOST BUSINESS ONWER!!! Tiffany the owner has very little sense in running a business, she's unprofessional, and unqualified. The lack of communication is unreal. Multiple emails, calls, voicemails with no response back is not only frustrating but shows her lack of caring and commitment to a paying customer. No one is ever in the front to answer the phone or to answer any questions in person and when there is they have no idea how to handle anything. They tell you to send an email to Tiffany or say they will leave a message for her which she doesn't respond to. I called multiple times. No answers, just a vm. I went online to contact via email and after a few days had a non automated response back. Emailed the owner a few times inquiring about classes and she suggested a trial day. We confirmed a friday class at 4pm. My girls were very excited and we showed up to find the place closed. I peeked through the window and wasn't really impressed with the appeal of the inside. We went home disappointed and emailed to reschedule the trial class and after a month have yet to receive a call or email response. So...this place could be a great place, but who knows! Last summer we were visiting friends in Arizona and my daughter needed a place to train. The owner communicated with my daughter's coach in NJ and set up a training regiment that allowed her to work out in the morning and gave us the afternoons off to be tourists. 10/10 do not recommend this cluster of an establishment. Poor communication. Coaches that change every other week and give absolutely zero feedback or critique on how your kid can make improvements. They stated they have assessments but we have yet to have one in over 6 months. My daughter was signed up for a 8+ beginner class which really is just a follow the leader class. She has been FREQUENTLY placed in the 5+ class with about 20 other kids, and lots of young ones. It isn't fair to the kids and honestly for the price of "tuition" it's a joke that I'm even wasting my gas driving here. I spoke w reception regarding my concerns and sent emails on multiple occasions. And nothing has changed. They should limit class sizes and adhere to the advertised ages for each group. Someone in third grade should not be in a class with kindergarteners. I guess we're on the hunt for a new gymnastic center to take our money because clearly Rebound doesn't want my money. Does not return emails within 24 hours always worried about getting payments but the lack of actually running the business is horrible. Has no tracking of payments but says it's on a document. No one should ever allow their children to attend this establishment. The owner is completely unprofessional, and is noticeably unpleasant to her staff members, and clients. She does not have air conditioning in this building, and expects coaches and gymnasts to thrive in Arizona when the conditions are almost unbearable. I never write reviews, but I had such a horrible experience with this place that I felt compelled to spread the word so this doesn't happen to anyone else's child. For the record, the owner has still NOT called or responded to my email. This is the email I wrote the owner "First, there are typically 3 or 4 kids in her class and today was 7-8. I asked Maddy at the front how many are typically in the class, as the kids were sitting a lot and not doing much activity from waiting to take a turn. The kids had a teacher they have never had before and her name was Carlie. About 25 minutes in I saw Carlie carrying my hysterical child and I ran inside and asked what happened and Carlie said "oh I think she just tripped over the beam or something"... she did not even know what happened and was very uninterested, which bothered me. The much bigger issue was towards the end of the class. All of the kids jumped into the foam pit at the same time. Within 2 minutes, all the kids had climbed out except for my daughter. The kids all lined up in front of Carlie and stood there. After about 2 additional minutes I began to worry about my daughter and where she was. Finally, I saw my child trying to climb out of the pit and she was clearly struggling to do so. Carlie stood there and stared at my child trying to get out for a solid minute. I got up from watching and started making my way to the door to go get her myself and finally Carlie moved and grabbed my child by the arm and pulled her out. My child was struggling trying to get out for 2-3 minutes while all the other kids and Carlie just stood there watching her struggle. I immediately asked Carlie what happened and why my child was struggling to get out and she said "oh she was fine some kids just struggle to get out" and my response was "well okay, but she was struggling for a while and everyone was already out. Then my child came up to me and said "mom, I thought I was drowning and I was asking for help and my coach didn't help me". My child would not just say that. I went right back in and told Carlie what my child said and Carlie's response was, "no I helped her out when I could after I got everyone else out she was fine". This is not what happened. All the kids were out for minutes before she finally helped my child out. Then I am told Carlie typically doesn't work with the preschoolers and even said earlier today "don't put me with the preschoolers I don't like it"." I am infuriated. I am a super chill mom and the fact that my kid won't stop telling me she thought she was drowning and her teacher wasn't listening to her ask for help is so heartbreaking and unacceptable. I am fairly certain I am going to cancel our membership. I truly hope this is not the standard at your gym because I truly can't believe how awful and careless Carlie's attitude was about the entire situation. read more

I have to agree with Sarah B.'s review. My son has been attending this gym for a few months, they were ok at first the age groups were separated which was advertised however that quickly changed. They mixed 5 year olds with 9/10 year olds, and the coach paid little to no attention to my son and the other younger students. The coach would constantly leave the younger students on one side of the gym completely ignoring them which is dangerous. Growing up myself in competitive gymnastics and ballet, I was very upset to see that new skills and tricks were improperly broken down for the beginners, and they were never corrected on how to properly and safely do these skills which are essential in the basic foundations to more advanced movements and tricks. Also a huge RED flag was when I watched my son's class running and jumping off the spring board and landing on mats piled high and set up for the older taller kids and never adjusted for the younger kids that were much shorter, this is very dangerous, equipment should always be properly adjusted to the child's height or they can get seriously injured. Plus, there was never anyone at the front desk to speak with, the coach never introduced themselves and they seemed like they hated their job. ALSO BE AWARE they charge you a month in advance, even when you inform them of leaving the studio and with the lack of communication and inconsistency in their reasons for you are being billed with out reimburstment along with not allowing your child attend for the remaining month you paid for. I could go on, but in short just look else where, to a studio where good habits are taught from the beginning, and your child is learning new skills safely and corrected when done improperly. Also look for a studio where your child is in a safe environment being paid attention to, kids can really get hurt in a studio when unsupervised, and my 5 year old son would be left on one side of the gym as a punishment while the rest of the class would go to the other side of the gym to learn a new skill....NOT OK AND NOT SAFE!!!!! read more

The coaching staff & gym facility at RGW are excellent. They keep the equipment and the gym very clean. My daughter is on the team and has been training there for years. The coaches really understand what my daughter needs - she gets lots of one-on-one attention. My daughter has met a great group of peers and enjoys going to the gym so much that she wants to work there & be a gymnastics coach when she is older. Team gymnastics is very challenging but my daughter has done well because of RGW. read more
