So they either give your things to someone else or it ends up in a "lost an found" category I've only recovered one t-shirt in 2 1/2 years and today someone has taken a Christmas washcloth from my sock drawer without asking me or gone to the showeroom to use to clean up my roommate and left it on the handicapped bar in the bathroom. Now they will say I was sleeping and they didn't want to wake me, or because they know I would have told them to go to the shower room for a company towel. All white towels washcloths and hand towels are the property of Oakview. My point is thes things cost me money and there needs to be a more organized system in place to return property to the patient/residents and they after 2 1/2 years living here I still run out of my pain and muscle relaxers(at least 5 time) perhaps this is just the Healthcare system that we have in Florid, and it's failing.

They leave the patients without changing them for hours- even if you beg them to please make your soiled family a priority! All of the head nurses are not only rude but super short with you! On many occasions the lift equipment hasn't been properly charged which leads to your elders being left unchanged for a minimum of two extra hours! If leaving zero stars was an option trust that that would have been selected! There is no care at this facility at all! I have seen others sit at dinner for several days and not receive their food or others being forgotten to be fed.. we are in the transition of switching facilities for sooo many reasons but hands down I hate leaving my family there out of fear that without my care they will be mistreated or forgotten

Medical care has been exceptional and the entire hospital staff from the lobby volunteers to the medical assistants, transport employees, administrative personnel, therapists, nurses and the doctors have been very professional and compassionate. Communication and coordination with outpatient services have been consistent and efficient like a well oiled machine. The hospital is visitor friendly and offers a great cafe downstairs that uses Brass Tacks coffee and the baristas are always fast and friendly. There's also a nice gift shop for visitors to browse and buy merch while they are there or if they need a mental break. The hospital cafeteria has a terrific salad bar along with some healthier choices, a hot bar and pizza station to grab a bite to eat instead of leaving the hospital. Prices are reasonable and the variety of food offered is very good for all types of eaters. There's plenty of seating (and lighting) as well. My only complaint is that the parking can be close to impossible at times and it may take awhile to find a spot to park. If you can time it right when there's a shift change, you may not have to walk as far or circle the parking lot a hundred times like a hungry vulture. Otherwise, this is my go-to hospital if I ever need to go for myself or bring someone to the ER.

The doctors on the other hand, arrogant and didn't tell me shit, they were stuck on the neurology and nothing else, done a lot of test but never gave me results, i was under the care of dr singh, but other doctors were involved, they would say they would be back and never saw them again till next day, what i did find out, i only found out by listening to nurses talk back and forth to each other, finally got discharged but with the restriction of home care, which never was brought up why I would need them. I got home and was able to bring up my test and it showed a lot of issues with my kidneys which never brought up to me! So now I am trying to hurry up and get in with my primary. Their ER on 103rd, not much better, they tried at least 5 times to do a spinal tap and failed, caused pain and 3 days later still pain!! So I am home still with issues with no answers, seems these doctor only want the money and will stop at nothing to get more money without careing for the patient!

There is also plenty of parking. The front lady is very kind, helpful, and very attentive. The physical therapy staff inside is also nice. At least the person that's been helping my dad. The care quality seems ok. My dad has been getting better, specially with his shoulder. The inside therapy room looks spacious and organized as well.
