The doctor starts talking about how the next wave of patients are coming... mind you it's 1:10 PM and I had only been there for 45 minutes and the doctor says, we have to get him being (me the patient) out because she stated that I have been there for an hour and a half. After I heard her saying that to the therapist, I had to say something...I said no my appointment was for 12:30 PM and I've only been here 45 minutes and she said no you've been here since 12:00 PM after that exchange all I wanted to do was finish my session and get out of there . I will never ever go back to that place or recommend them to anyone. If you go, you go at your own risk of being insulted.

From the moment I arrived, my visit was pleasant, organized, and efficient. Maryam personally greeted me and immediately showed genuine compassion and interest in the symptoms I have been dealing with. That kind of attentiveness made me feel comfortable right away. Since that first visit, I have completed three Aqua Therapy sessions and am already noticing positive improvements in my health. Maryam is exceptionally attentive and makes sure every patient feels included, understands each exercise, and knows how to perform it safely and correctly. What stands out most to me is her balance of professionalism and compassion. She is knowledgeable, patient, empathetic, and truly engaged in helping her patients improve. I am not Persian, nor do I have any special insurance plan, and yet she has treated me with the same warmth, dignity, and care as family. You included a bunch of stuff in your original evaluation that you much later revealed was untreatable. Why not be up front about it? As for continuing treatment, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. Anyway, I have since found very helpful information online and am feeling much better. I have been to OrthoSport before for my shoulder and had great results with Edan. I was disappointed when I couldn't get in to see him sooner so I "shopped around" PT offices around the Mission Viejo area near the hospital. I did not like what I saw-chaos, overcrowding, non-professional very young staff, patients left alone doing exercises, cluttered office, etc. I went back to OrthoSport to beg Edan to fit me in, and he did! When you walk into the office, the ambience is relaxing, calm, soothing music playing and very welcoming. This is what I expect -an environment as if you were walking into a Hoag facility or a 5-star PT office. They don't overbook to try to get as many clients into the office at one time. This allows you to get one to one attention from the PT Assistants which is so nice. The office is very clean, each table is wiped down after each client, the equipment is well cared for, ample parking with easy access to the front of the office. During my first visit, I was a total mess--afraid to move my arm that was in a sling for so long. Edan is professional, supportive, personable, knowledgeable, patient, and has impeccable credentials. He takes the time to explain things and is empathetic and encouraging. The two remote receptionists are very welcoming. The PT Assistants are truly caring and sincere when they are working with me, giving me one to one attention, coaching and guiding me along. The PT Assistants in the office will become future DPT's. I am on the road to recovery. I thought I would never get to this point. You have to do the daily home exercises in order to see improvement. I hope I never need PT again but if I do, I will definitely go back to OrthoSport and see Edan and his staff. HE IS THE BEST!!!

He did not listen to her when she repeatedly explained the type of insurance she had. He did not clearly explain her bill, instead, he angrily said, "you can't tell me how much your insurance is supposed to pay," instead of giving a reasonable calm explanation. When she asked to speak with his manager, he once again angrily exclaimed, "I have absolutely no problem with that." Instead of treating a recovering patient with care and patience, he took his day's anger out on her. I work in the healthcare/customer service field and my stomach did back flips when I heard about this interaction. I will never recommend ProSport PT to any friends, family or colleagues.
