There are now much better options in the area…read more Not only will you get a rushed 5 min consultation where you have to have your questions ready to blur out before the doctor is out the door but also NOTHING you share will be private between you and the doctor. Their ipads records everything and it will transcribe every single minutia detail in your medical history including concerns or questions you have and will write things down without actually formally diagnosing you. Their lab test for hormones is not only inaccurate but they charge you "preferential cash" for it, when you can get your own full hormones panel at quest for $100+ less! My testosterone levels were imcredibly low and the doctor dismissed it as perimenopause without blinking. When I brought my results to an actual OBGYN, it took him 2 seconds to see the test was done incorrectly as the results showed the hormone levels of a DEAD person.... This can have serious consequences if you start things like testosterone / hormone therapy (when not even needed!) and will come back to bite when you are looking for life insurance and you will have to do unnecessary follow-ups to get coverage. Compassion and empathy are not the way of the practice - this is a pure factory money grab experience. Try the new baptist health primary care office for professionalism and association with an actual hospital instead of a place that pushes their tests, vitamins etc..

I didn't realize he had been an ER doc for years, and then a family doctor. I now see him for my primary care, and he knows what he is doing. He takes the time to answer questions and is respectful. He does not charge thousands of dollars as a "concierge" doctor. Concierge medicine here is a scam, and it is hard to find a doctor not doing that. Doc Moulavi does have a lot of cosmetic procedures and products for sale, which is fine. Perhaps that helps him make up for not gouging patients for medical care, I don't know. But I do really appreciate him.

They have a lab on site so my blood work was done there versus having to wait 7 hours at a LabCorp (which if anyone reads this- you know EXACTLY what i'm talking about) Besides the friendly faces throughout my whole visit, the doctor was extremely attentive even though it was my first time! Usually when I go to a healthcare professional for the first time they basically cross off a check list and leave. After a 30 minute wait outside and another 30 minute wait in the examination room LOL. Which leads me into another highlight- the service was quick and efficient. LOVED THAT. All in all, this office treated me like I am a regular of theirs for years and gave me pretty spectacular service. Going to a clinic for your health care needs is extremely personal and you have to find a place that fits your needs. His office staff didn't know we had paid for concierge service and claimed he wasn't available for several weeks for a visit. When we mentioned we were concierge the person at office said well looks like we can "squeeze you in" later in week. Whole thing left a bad taste. I cannot overstate how much I admire and respect this doctor and her staff. My situation is such that I need to see numerous specialist throughout the year. Each of those appointments involve a lengthy sit in a waiting area before being ushered into an examination for a brief meeting with the doctor. With the exception of a few sentences containing medical information about my condition, our conversation is no more remarkable than what might be heard between strangers at a bus stop. The Dr Massar experience could not be more different. First there is no more waiting but there is so much more of everything else. Each year before the blood work review and physical exam, Dr Massar engages me in a conversation about everything form aches and pains to bodily functions. Nothing is off the table. I have divulged a humiliating amount of personal information to her. I am sure she has wanted to bust a gut but she always maintains an incredible poker face. Makes me laugh to think about. She has improved the quality of my life and my overall health through education and suggestion not drugs. Each year she recommends books for me to read about diet and cognitive health.
