I found Allison about 5 years ago at a very low point in my life. I had recently been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and was suffering from daily pain...sometimes so bad I just had to take a pain pill and lie on the couch. After my first visit with Allison (in which she also diagnosed me with pelvic floor disorder) I felt completely comfortable with pelvic floor PT. After having some challenges following the birth of my first daughter, I was nervous for the birth of my second. Alison gave frank and candid information that set my mind at ease. I came to Allison via Yelp and researching specialists in Pelvic Rehabilitation. Allison is kind and listened to what I had to say and understood my pain. I had just had a baby and had something called Transient Osteoporosis. Out of all the Obgyn, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractics I went to she was the only one who acknowledged my condition and said she new others who had what I had. There is truly no one like Allison...I know this because I suffered from chronic pelvic pain for YEARS and was misdiagnosed by countless doctors in multiple cities. By the time I met Allison, I was nervous and skeptical since I had told my story to so many people who offered no help, completely implausible suggestions, or were totally dismissive. She must have sensed this because before our first appointment she called to check in and see if I had any questions she could answer over the phone. I would soon learn that this kind, thoughtful, above and beyond mentality was just par for the course of working with her.
