I don't live close by, but the drive is worth it when I'm in the area or in the mood. I've been coming here for a few years now, and I still find myself craving the Beef with Broccoli or the Wanton Soup. The service is always quick, and the person that rings me up is always kind and patient. Before the pandemic hit, I enjoyed being able to sit down and eat with friends or family. Even now, though seating is limited, waiting for the food and chatting with any locals within the establishment is always pleasant. There's a radio that plays some great music while one waits for their food to be ready, and if you ask, they'll give you extra sauces. Absolutely wonderful! I order delivery often. The food always shows up in less than an hour, and is hot and delicious. Prices are fair as well.

The chicken fried rice had no peas or carrots. It's fair to say that it was the most tasteless fried rice I've ever had.

Red Apple is located in an interesting building on the edge of Bridgewater; it looks as though it might have been a theatre at one time. Inside, the decor is very plain; one might say it's EXTRA ordinary. The kitchen is open to view from the dining area. If there was ever a buffet, it's long gone, and that area is now used for supplies of paper goods. The menu is indistinguishable from any other American Chinese restaurant. I ordered carry out, one order of chicken with broccoli, and one order of egg drop soup. The food was fresh, hot, tasty and cheap. The bill for my order came to $8.12. Long story short, I would definitely recommend. This joint has a good combination of quality and value. Four stars! read more

Very efficient and nice young couple working in this place. Not very impressed by the food but was ok and affordable. The wonton soup is very greasy and the dumpling are far too thick... so it will fill you but will not let you an unforgettable taste in memory. Dumpling could be so wonderful. Solid inexpensive Chinese restaurant. If you are going there to get there expecting a 4 star restaurant you are setting yourself up to be disappointed. If you are expecting a solid lunch and drink for under $10 or have a craving for General Tso's or Lo Mein this is a good choice even if it wasn't the only one. read more

Small town Chinese restaurant. The restaurant itself is pretty run down but the owners are nice and the food comes out fast. I recommend a little known dish called Singapore Mei Fun. It's big enough to feed two people and it's under $10. read more

I used to go here from time to time since I attend Bridgewater College and it was close by and I LOVE Chinese food. However, this last time the dumplings didn't seem fully cooked and had a bone in them. When I thought it was possibly not fully cooked, I thought it to be in my head and continued eating them. But when I got to my last dumpling and took a bite there was something hard in it and it caused me to nearly throw up. There isn't supposed to be something hard in a dumpling. The next day I went back in with the half of a dumpling that was left to ask for a refund since there was a bone in it. They were incredibly rude and kept repeating "it's almost all gone." I would reply "yes, because this was the last one I bit into and the only one to have a bone in it." Before determining it was a bone the cashier tried telling me that it was just a piece of pork, to which I responded that pork (at least that you eat - in dumplings) isn't supposed to be hard. So she responded with "piece of pork bone." To which I again responded that it wasn't supposed to have a bone in it and that I'd appreciate a refund. She again said how there's hardly any left. I repeated myself *again*, to which she and the other three workers (one a chef) started agitatedly talking in Chinese and looking at me angrily. This made me very upset. She eventually told me she could only give me half back since not much of the dumplings was left. I responded that it was okay, and patiently waited while she dealt with the cash register. She continued angrily talking in Chinese with the other two workers and eventually said something to the chef who looked over and laughed. This infuriated me and was incredibly rude. They never apologized for the bone and had no sympathy whatsoever, and then they laughed at me! How RUDE! If they had handled it graciously and been kind, I would have quite possibly returned. However, now I never will. I used to defend their cuisine to all of the people around campus who say how horrible it is, now I'm right there with them ten fold. They are incredibly rude and unprofessional. A bone should not have been in my dumpling. I will NEVER go back! read more
