This was a great find while visiting Virginia last year '24. Customer service was good and the food was yummy and fresh! Portion size was great for the price I paid. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Pretty good Chinese takeout. Had a 30 minute drive after picking it up and the food was still piping hot! Surprised to find the crispy pork intestines here, it was pretty tasty and crispy still by the time we ate it. It could use less peppers and more intestines though. It's kind of wasteful that all the peppers in there are thrown away. The lo mein was a bit too mushy and a bit bland but still pretty good. The broccoli w fried tofu had more tofu than broccoli even though the title suggests this is mainly a broccoli dish. I would've been more satisfied if the tofu tasted better. But it had a sour taste. Not sure if that's how the tofu is supposed to taste or if it's gone bad... The dry pot was not dry. Dry pots are supposed to be a dry version of hotpot but this was wet. The flavoring was nice though. The pepper pork was okay. Overall, the food was enjoyable and portions were generous. read more

Ordered sashimi deluxe on door dash and received something completely incorrect. I have severe food allergies so I told the driver it was incorrect and that the error would have put me in the hospital. He took it back to get it remade. I received from his "boss" the sashimi from the first order in a different box. I'm still severely allergic so I had to trash the entire order because they just repackaged the sashimi from the wrong order in a different box and sent it out. Absolutely horrible and disrespectful. Their negligence would have put me in the hospital for at least 3 days if I didn't pick up on the fact it was the same fish. Temp was warm which made it more dangerous for anyone to eat too. We happened upon this place after leaving Costco where we fueled up for our drive back to Georgia. It was almost closing time and the place was almost empty. Dining here felt like visiting old family friends. Not only was the food amazing but were were treated like special guests of the family. The sushi here is made to order and everything is fresh. You are able to customize rolls according to your taste. There are LOTS of menu item to choose from. Hot dishes, noodles, rice, and of course sushi. My favorite item on the menu thus far is the sushi rolls made with cucumber strips instead of nori and rice. Such a fun dining experience. There is ample parking because the OC aid located in a strip mall. Don't forget to ask for a hug when leaving. Our server was the sweetest little grandma. We went to oriental cafe for a late lunch and wash had one of their lunch specials even though it was after 3:00, their cutoff. I had the shrimp chow mien and was impressed with all the fresh vegetables. The fried noodles were delicious. My wife had the sweet and sour pork and she said it is very good. He loved it, but it did not love him the next day - he's not used to so much spice! He also didn't realize it would serve 4 people! So he had tons of leftovers. You are supposed to get 2 or 3 dishes and share them with your table. I started with crispy skin shrimp rolls. The sauce really put those over the edge of goodness. I also got a sushi roll: Philadelphia roll and Kani Su- both were very fresh and well prepared. The Kani Su should have been shared with a table as well. The wonton soup was the perfect broth; not too salty, but not plain. The wontons were small, but flavorful. The egg rolls were large and stuffed full. We shared the kung pao chicken with fried rice and it hit the spot. I can't say enough good things about the chicken. That was the perfect consistency! We would 100% eat here again. The only thing preventing the five stars is that the place is very worn-down inside. It was our first visit there, so we were like "Whoa..." when we walked in. In retrospect, I think that what's going on is that a lot of their business is take-out...and probably a lot of college students. So, the focus is on the food, not the decor. I have been coming here since my freshman year of college and it never disappoints. However, I was deeply offended and upset by a comment that a staff member made to me at dinner today. This worker first asked if I was korean, and then proceeded to say that I look like Kim Jong Un. This was a deeply racist comment to make and it made me extremely uncomfortable, given that I am a korean. Furthermore, before our party left, she offered me a can of coke as an "apology" but showed no remorse or regret over what she said, and was laughing about it with her other co-workers. For a restaurant that is representative of Asian culture, it was deeply disappointing for me to have to experience this and it was pretty traumatizing especially since all of my close friends were there to witness it as well. Please educate your staff on proper customer etiquette and knowing when to not cross a boundary. read more

Holy cow. We stopped through for dinner while charging my car during a road trip. This food was ah-mazing! Wow! It looked like a gourmet meal. The dry hot pot was incredible. The foods seemed a little fancy when described in the website. My sweet and sour chicken had veggies under it. I didn't eat them, so for me that was a waste, but it was still more Sweet and Sour Chicken than I could eat in one sitting.
