They provide the helmets for you to wear. Some of them were pretty worn out so you just have to dig for one of the few better ones. Wear old sneakers and clothes you don't care for. You'll get horse hair on you and smell like a horse at the end of your hour long experience (you spend 15 mins grooming at least, or longer before actually getting to ride the horse). Our instructor (who I am working sure was in her teens lol) was very professional and patient! We were taught how to groom the horses (which allowed us to bond with her) before riding it around the property. The property seemed pretty large and they had a trail that leads into the woods of the property. The horses seem to know the drill all too well as you didn't have to nudge them to begin walking. They also knew exactly where to go and which turns to take on the path. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

She completely enthralled our group of two adults and two teens. The ride was so peaceful. We booked the first slot and the horses were alert and ready to work. My beautiful horse, Winter, listened well and took very good care of me. Even though my guys liked their horses, they were so jealous that I got to ride her. It's cash only and please tip your guide. Jackie and her employees love horses and take very good care of them. They know each of the horses so well. The horses are well fed. Jackie always watches the weather and if it's bad she will leave the horses in. Otherwise they go out every day except Sunday. The owners of the horses are very nice and we get along well. Krystal is the trail boss. She does a wonderful job with the people that rent horses for trail rides.

The stalls are metal, and very open, so the horses can see each other, plus it never gets that worn out look that wooden barns get. They have a very good sized indoor and outdoor arena, plus turn out pens and 2 pastures. Every boarder gets their own tack stall, which is clean and convenient, fits everything, even 2 saddles! Because it's a small barn, every horse gets personal care. The owner doesn't hesitate to cal you if there's even a small issue, like a torn blanket strap. Rick, the owner, has been great to me, and will even haul me up to shows for an extremely fair price. Unlike other barns, they don't charge you for the little extras, like supplement feeding or blanketing. The barn is pretty mellow as well. Since there are only 28 stalls, its never chaotic and crowded. There are lessons a few days a week, but it's not a big hassle and you can still use the arena without incident. The boarders are really nice and willing to help you out. It's not any specific kind of barn (jumper, western, etc). It's all breeds, and all styles. The board is more than fair, the facilities are modern, clean, and spacious, and the people are helpful and kind. I couldn't ask for more!
