On the day of delivery they called about an hour before arrival and setup up the bounce house with turf and tarp underneath to ensure the kids had a nice path from the end of the slide to back in the bounce house. I almost had a heart attack this past Saturday because of this company. My daughters party started at 2:00p and they got to my house at 1:45p at the same time people were arriving for the party. I had been calling since 9am that morning to see when the delivery would be made and that first time was answered by some rude lady and the other times by a hispanic man who wasn't rude but kept saying within the hour which wasn't true. I have been following this company on social media for a few months. I decided to rent Gold chiavari chairs for my dinner party back in July and I just rented multiple items for my daughter's birthday this past weekend and I couldn't be happier. Their prices are very reasonable but the best things is that the items are in very good condition. The bounce house was in excellent condition and very clean as well as the tent, chairs and tables we rented. My party was in the late afternoon but they were able to deliver the items early in the morning as requested, my daughter even got some playing time in the bounce house by herself. I was recommended to this company by the Party rental company i always use. I was very happy and grateful for the recommendation. I only rented mist fans unfortunately, but they were on time, the gentleman the delivered it was very nice. The fans were a hit since it was for a 4th of July picnic at a park in this heat of Florida, lol.. Bridgette was very nice (via email, lol) I will say this, i wasn't impressed with the loud generator. If i may suggest to switch those out with the newer models ( i know it can be pricey) but they are much more worth it. This company is unprofessional!! I have used them twice and had issues both times (I should have learned the first time). I rented a bounce house and generator for my son's birthday party at the beginning of march. The party was at a park that closes at 6pm, they showed up at 7:30!!! The owner was unapologetic and when I asked him for a partial refund because I had to sit and wait for an hour and a half he acted like he didn't speak English anymore. Regardless, I used them again yesterday because I liked the rental, it was very clean and large. So here's where their bad business practices come in to play. I ordered a bounce house again and used a completely different card than the first time. They charged me for half and I was going to pay the other half in cash once it was delivered. My boyfriend decided we needed a tent so he called them and ordered one, he told them he would pay cash upon delivery. Then 10 minutes later his father told him no, he already ordered a tent. So my boyfriend called and cancelled the tent. He spoke with the owner (Manuel) and after a heated discussion Manuel said he would cancel the tent and not charge him since it had only been 10 minutes. They showed up with the tent anyways! The drivers had no idea what was going on. My boyfriend paid them for the bounce house and they left (never took the tent out of the truck). THEY SHOWED UP AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE AGAIN!!! To pick it up, which wasn't as much of a big deal this time because it was at a family's house. My boyfriend gave them plates of food and beer because he wanted to be nice and the guys looked over worked. Today I was checking my bank account and they charged me $348 for the tent anyways, which we didn't use and the owner wasn't supposed to charge it and on top of it, he charged the wrong card which was provided 2 months ago when I made the first order. They were not authorized to charge my account either because I did not order the tent, my boyfriend did. I called my bank and we conference called the owner (Manuel), he answered the English line, spoke to me and when the representative from my bank got on the phone he pretended he didn't speak English again, so the bank got a translator to speak Spanish. He was rude, said I had to pay for it because it was already on the truck even though I didn't place the order for the tent in the first place, then after a heated debate he hung up on us. His secretary gave me a refund just now after going back and forth with them, after the owner agreed that my boyfriend didn't have to pay for it because it was cancelled after 10 minutes, after arguing with my bank and after my boyfriend called them this morning and confronted the owner about his dishonesty. They thought they would be sneaky and charge a card that was used on a previous order! THIS PLACE TRIED TO STEAL FROM THIER CUSTOMER. Absolutely unprofessional and horrible that I had to waste 3 hours of my morning on bad business practices. Thank you for giving my money back but I will never use your company again. I thought about awarding two stars instead of one because in the middle of this review my boyfriend texted me a picture of the refunded receipt, but thanks to your bad customer service and dishonesty iv decided to give only one star. Thanks for reading my rant, hopefully this will be a learning experience for Manuel to have better customer service and not try to steal from his customers. **UPDATE** they just had the audacity to call me and say it was disrespectful for my boyfriend to call and yell and curse at the owner. I'm sorry, but what customer that was lied to and stolen from would not call and curse to get $348 back when he was told by the same exact person that he wouldn't be charged?! Unbelievable. Oh and after I told the woman on the phone (Manuel's wife) that they were late both times to pick up an hour and a half she snickered and her response was, " it's more important to drop off on time and they were probably delayed with other parties picking up." Well if that's the case, you need a more effective scheduling system and better communication so your customers don't have to wait for you. I understand 30 or 40min late but an hour and a half is ridiculous. Apparently Manuel told his wife that he said he would give a refund when he got back to the office while he was on the phone with me earlier. HE NEVER SAID THAT! He wanted to know who was going to pay him and when my banker told him I wasn't supposed to be charged in the first place because I didn't order the tent or provide that card information and they were going to dispute the charge, he hung up the phone. read more

I've used this company for 5 different events always ordering a bounce house, tables, chairs and linens only. They're bounce houses are the cleanest I've ever seen but they have an issue with delivering on time. The first time this happened to me they showed up 30 minutes prior to the start of my party, which I wasn't happy about since I had to set up tables, chairs and decorations in a hurry before my guests arrived. The second time i had an issue was when they delivered the merchandise the night before my party, showing up at 11PM! My husband was not happy but I used them again since they have the cleanest bounce houses. The last time I rented with them was my last. I lied about the start of my party by an hour. Said it started at 4, they called at 5 asking if they can deliver later since they had to go elsewhere, hello! I told you my party started at 4PM!!! Miguel did not show up at my house until 5:30 when my guests were already here. They did not have extension cords with them for the bounce house and made us pull one from the garage as I was rushing with my guests setting up tables. If you use this company please be aware of their tardiness in delivering and always LIE about your start time. I unfortunately will need to move on to another company as I've learned my lesson. read more

Red Balloon helped my wife and I with our baby shower of 70+ guests. We rented 75 chairs, 10 tables & linens, and more from them. Their prices were way better than the competitors that we checked with and their service and response time was great. They'd always answer the phone and would usually reply to emails within 24 hours in order to answer any questions that we have leading up to our event. The day before and after the event when the rental items were being dropped off and picked up, they stayed in communication with us and texted all day to ensure that we'd know when the delivery men would show up. Extremely upset with this company! I called to rent a bounce house and table for my daughter's birthday party, I had seen them on Instagram thru a friends account. I contacted them for a quote, the owner Manuel, said he would email me the quote. I never received the quote. I call back the next day since my party is 2 days away and I still don't have the pricing. Never received the quote. The next day I call and ask for the pricing over the phone, again they tell me they are sending out all invoices. I receive the quote $181.88 for 1 bounce house, which I only need for 4 hours and 1 table, $50 for delivery!!! I'm desperate at this point since my party is the following day. I go ahead and pay. Delivery went smoothly, I told them to arrive 2 hours prior to my party. They never picked up the items till the next day. When I check my bank account on Monday they had charged me twice!! I call them and let them know, they said they were sorry and to email the bank statement showing the double charge. I email them the info. right away. That was 11/5/18, I called and texted the owner on the 11/6, 11/9, 11/12 and today is the 15th and still no refund! While their prices are certainly some of the best in the area, and their kid chivari chairs/tables (as well as adult) are in great condition, their customer service is unacceptable. They showed up late at night - after 9pm (with a call only minutes before) to drop off our items. Upon delivery, the invoice was 100% wrong - almost double the quote I received, thus making me stop delivery and call to correct. After the party, the very next day, a large truck showed up in the morning. No call. Nothing. If I had not been home, would they have simply entered my private yard to collect their items? Good thing I was home. Throughout this process, despite being given correct credit card information multiple times, their system kept "declining" and sending fraud/security notifications to my bank, thus preventing me from using it. MULTIPLE TIMES. They had no problem contacting me for payment a million times - yet couldn't call appropriately to deliver and pick up. Finally, when they did not receive a check payment because of a mail service issue, THEY SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE TO COLLECT. A large white truck, two unidentified men. At my house. I was very upset, felt very threatened, and was about to call the police when they finally left (yet circled my home in their truck twice after). I would have used them again in the future, despite the issues with the invoice and lack of communication, till they showed up at my house in a threatening manner to collect. I just want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Brigitte and the rest of the Red Balloon Party Rental team for putting together such an amazing Baby Shower for me and my baby girl on the way. I reached out to Brigitte, who was referred to me by a close friend, a couple months ago and gave her an idea of what theme I wanted for my shower. I had a budget I needed to stick to and she provided me with a range of choices and let me choose the services and style to fit my needs. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine my shower to come out so elegant and beautiful as it did. She was extremely responsive to all my questions, emails and concerns throughout the months leading up to my event. I even had a last minute request for her to make my cake and she came through with a beautiful cake more beautiful than the one I had sent her in a picture. Not to mention that on the day of my shower I realized I had not booked a photographer and she offered to stay and provide that service as well. Of course, I had the dropbox link to my pictures the very next day!
