"I won't cry for you, see When you're gone, I'll still be…read moreBloody Mary" (Lady Gaga) We're friends, right? So let me be honest. I love Bloody Marys. When I'm out at brunch or some industry luncheon and it's time to do some day drinking, you'll find me with a Bloody Mary in my hand. Now, I've tried a slew of Bloody Mary mixes to use at home, and never really liked any of them. Many are very thin and watery, some are volcanic, and some have enough salt to replenish Utah's Great Salt Lake. But a few days ago, I finally found a good one at the Bristol Bazaar when I picked up a jar of Bloody Good Mud's Bloody Mary mix. It's not very impressive looking when you open the jar -it kind of looks like brown plumbing sludge. The instructions direct you to stir one and a half tablespoons into 8 ounces of tomato juice. Now, in full disclosure this is easier said than done because you really must stir long and hard to break down that sludgy mud of spicy goodness to incorporate it into the tomato juice. But your effort will be well rewarded, because I loved the finished product. The mud incudes Tomato Paste, Worcestershire Sauce, Horseradish, Mustard, Lime Juice, Olive Juice, Dill, Celery Salt, Pepper, Tabasco Sauce, Garlic, Old Bay, & Paprika. When all of that flavor breaks down, it transforms the tomato juice into a slightly thick glass of savory spicy goodness. You can find Bloody Good Mud at a few specialty stores and farmers markets in Connecticut and NY State. If you really want to get out of your culinary comfort zone, their website offers recipes to use their Mud in a Turkey dish, a Vegetable dish, a Pasta Sauce, an Italian Bread Dip, a Cocktail Sauce and a Sun-Dried Tomato and Roasted Garlic Focaccia. Looking forward to my future homemade Bloody Marys! Cheers.

It was a great way to sample for some variety, but we left without liking any of them. But the place was beautiful with a decent amount of seating (indoor, terrace, and outdoor). We didn't partake in the pizza, but saw a ton of people enjoying them.

It was empty! Our first stop was to try some cider which was great! I had one with rośe that was similar to wine. Afterwards, we picked some apples and took many photos. We then dropped our apples back on the bus and went to the market. The market is so nice and has so much to offer. We got some Apple cider donuts and got lunch. They accepted card and cash for lunch. The food was great wish i got photos of my salad, chicken tenders and fries. We then looked at the animals and headed back to the bus. St this point, it was really crowded! This is such a nice farm! I want to come back next year for sure. The bag they give of apples is pretty big and they had many apples. They also had private bathrooms here in 2 spots and a few outdoor bathrooms as well. Def loved this experience and can't wait to return
