We had a great experience with Red Barn Movers! We read up on them through their website and checked the reviews. We really appreciated their cause and what these men are doing with their lives. So we booked our move with them to include packing and moving. They were prompt, professional, trustworthy and kind individuals. When we booked, I warned them that it would be a big job for a 2 bedroom apartment because we have a lot of clothes, furniture packed in the apartment, a lot of entertainment stuff and a packed full kitchen. LOL. They sent out a 5 man crew and by lunchtime weren't finished packing but were making great progress. At this point, Red Barn decided to send us a second, 3 man crew who showed up and made things go that much faster, despite the fact that they had to deal with our old building's busy elevators and an automatic locking door and locked elevators. (Though, I did station my 18 yr old in the lobby to call the elevator for them each time.) Our move was so big that even with three additional crew, they started at 8:30 am and weren't done until 10:30 pm. We anticipated this being the case and increased our estimate so we wouldn't be surprised. They worked tirelessly despite it being a 3 floor townhome we were moving into and got the truck unloaded in just a couple of hours. We had Gatorade, chips and Cliff Bars on hand for them but I wish we would have thought to do more. We were distracted trying to wrangle two cats and two dogs the whole time. We are so grateful for the gentlemen that Red Barn Movers sent out to handle our move. Had an absolutely wonderful experience with the team that just helped my parents move. Not only did they send out someone to do estimates in person, and make recommendations to cut down on time (and cost for us), they executed the move quickly, efficiently, and with basically zero problems. We had one piece of furniture wicker furniture that already had significant wear that through the process of being in the truck, had fully broken. It wasn't a problem for us, but they still apologized profusely. 6 men helped us for just shy of 12 hours. Had we done this ourselves, it would have taken quadruple the amount of time, at least. Their communication skills with us and with their follow coworkers was phenomenal. This came from a word of mouth recommendation, and I cannot wait to share my experience with others as well. Red Barn Movers was the absolute BEST moving experience I have ever had! They were communicative, on time, careful with our stuff, and great at their jobs. The 4-man team who helped us pack and move were, to a person, so kind, helpful, and honestly SUPERMEN. They worked SO hard, no complaints, stayed cheerful, and were a bright spot in an otherwise stressful and hard day. We had a few snafus and had way more stuff than we thought, and these amazing guys just worked and worked, much longer than planned, and went so far above and beyond what they needed to. It may seem strange to rave so much about a moving company, but that is just how great the experience was. Honestly - hire them, you will not regret it!! Note: as part of the program, the individual movers don't accept tips. I wish I had known that before hand - they worked so hard! We brought in dinner and had other food/drinks too, but if I had known we couldn't tip, I would have tried to do more to show our appreciation throughout the day. We asked Red Barns Farm Thrift Store this week to come and pick up many furniture items that we wanted to donate. James, Aaron and Kyle arrived right on time and were so kind, courteous and helpful in preparing and moving all the items out of our home. We also have hired Red Barn Farms Moving Company to move our belongings to Saratoga Springs in a couple of weeks. Likewise when I met with Iseli and his inside sales team to arrange for our move I came away so impressed with their professionalism and kind assistance. Everything went exceptionally well. The 2 guys were very friendly, very courteous, kind, and very, very professional. I had one piece of furniture that I was concerned with moving because when I moved the time before that particular piece of furniture had a drawer come out and crashed on the concrete below. I had not hired a company to move me that time because I had plenty of people to move me, family and friends. If I could give 100 stars I would! We hired Red Barn Movers to come and help us move from our apartment to our first home! Our experience was AMAZING and I could not have been more pleased! I can say that I actually enjoyed moving this time; which moving is normally terrible. None of our items were damaged and they were careful in moving items in and out to not damage the walls (not to mention they had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs). The program that they are apart will touch your heart. This program helps them get a second chance at life! I wouldn't want my money going anywhere else, than with this service! We started by reaching out to their service and worked with Benny! He answered the phone so quickly which was nice to not have to wait. We talked about our needs and their services and Benny took all the time that we needed to feel comfortable. He never made me feel dumb by asking obvious questions. We did not have an exact closing date until the week before. They were so great at being flexible with our schedule and contacted us to confirm things. They arrived early, and moved items so fast! They never stopped to take a break until the truck was loaded. They were vary contentious of our time, as we pay per hour. And did you know that they don't charge you to drive to your home and back to their facility?! That saved us so much money by not having to pay for that additional travel time. They brought all of the moving supplies that we could possibly need and a great attitude! They were so respectful of us and our things, my husband and I were able to literally sit on the couch the entire time while they moved everything out and loaded it into their truck. I mentioned several times that I felt bad that we were not doing anything, or if they were tired. Every single time, they had a positive answer, told us that they are here to relieve our stress, and never once complained of the heat, stairs, or boxes. They had a wonderful sense of humor and were just fun to be around. The goal of this program is to use hard work, discipline, and integrity to correct unhealthy behaviors. They have the most amazing people working for them. These gentlemen were so kind, loving, and entertaining! They all came from hard backgrounds, but being in this program has helped them change their lives and get a second chance. That really made a personal connection with us. In addition to supporting a good cause, they have the lowest costs compared to any other mover and provide more people to get the job done as quick as possible. Red Barn movers are the absolute best! I had little hope of getting moved into my new place from out of state (CA) but thanks to Luis he made sure he could get a team to me in my timeframe. The team of 4 men arrived on time and ready to work. They were super efficient, careful, caring and made sure everything got done. I hired Red Barn Movers to make a few stops to pick up furniture and deliver it to our nightly rental home. I then needed things hauled away including a dump run. They were on time. They did everything with precision and care to protect our furniture and the home. However, the thing that I really appreciated was their attitude. It was a "Yes, we can do that!" With a smile on their face. We needed some very heavy ski chairs lifted onto a deck and it took four people lifting to get them to where we needed. They did it after realizing that they needed to be taken apart first and then reassembled. Top Rate Quality! They were also very honest. They worked hard from the time they showed up until the time they left! I had worried about how I was going to get everything done that I needed and they did it all, plus some! I posted a ISO on Facebook for a company that can move heavy furniture and all recommendations were for Red Barn Farms!!! Those recommendations were 100% accurate and at a fair price!!! The group of men that they sent, were so professional, friendly and moved our heavy furniture with out hardly breaking a sweat. These mussel men had to move this heavy furniture up two very steep flights of stairs and did it without banging, touching, nicking a wall or the furniture. Red Barn Movers was the single best moving experience I've ever had. Our national movers- Colonial Van Lines- was a nightmare. We hired Red Barn to finish moving our stuff from storage to our new home. They arrived when they said they would, with the amount of men they said they would send, and they performed the service in under 4 hours. They took great care of the furniture and boxes. The men are so grateful for the job, a part of customer service that has been long gone in every industry. Their stories were touching, but ultimately, they just do a 5 star job!
