We appreciated how quickly they notified us when our forwarded mail arrived just a few days later. Our site #6 is across the street from the bathhouse. It is a gravel pull through with 30 Amp service, water spigot below surface and sewer. I must confess a personal dislike of below surface spigots because it 1) requires me to kneel to connect my water hose and 2) fills up with water during a rainy day. The bathhouse shower stalls are a little bigger than most we've experienced and the wife was thrilled to find one of the ladies' stalls (not handicap) had a handheld shower head. Campgrounds need to understand that handheld shower heads and flexible hoses make shower time quicker. The laundry room was acceptable, but maybe out of habit, we felt we had to wipe the washers and tables down before using them. The cost of a load was $2/wash and $2.50/dry. The park's location was good for us, 3 miles from downtown Roswell going north and 3 miles south, the former Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF)/ Walker Air Base. By the way, the Walker Aviation Museum is in the current Roswell Air Center. We are in a 22-foot Class B Travel Van staying 6 nights and would recommend this campground if you're spending time in the Roswell area.

Top priority, It was clean! The beds were much to be desired tho, not comfy in our opinion. The price was pretty steep but we needed two beds and good reviews and this is what there was meeting that criteria and so here we stayed. I would stay here again if I were in the town again.

The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, and included a full-size kitchen with an oven, microwave, and everything you need. They also offer a free laundry room, which was a huge plus. I headed over to check it out because I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything during our trip. Unfortunately they are closed on Mondays, so I was disappointed but we went ahead and started some activities and sightseeing and I made sure to come back the following day. When I walked up to the door I saw a sign attached that they were closed for lunch. What luck! I decided it was a sign and we would finish our trip without a visit here. Then, as we were headed back to our hotel, I saw that they were open and I couldn't help myself. Third time's a charm! This is an adorable little center with a cute photo ops and welcoming staff. You should definitely stop here Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to noon or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00.

I LOVE the small-town logistics of somewhere like Roswell because we never had to pay for parking and great information centers like this are totally free. The AC is nice and cold and there are also public bathrooms inside. Some notes about our visit: -The have a cool and FREE photobooth with much desired cheesy aliens that is free to get a mini photoshoot at and a print out, they can also use your phone to take pics. -The "Roswell" city logo, the "R" with the UFO and beam making up the negative space, can also be purchased on clothing, keychains, and other merchandise here! -There is a small fence outside to attach locks to if you want to commemorate your visit to Roswell.

After driving for almost 15 hrs my family and I were EXHAUSTED. We roll into Rosewell and see this place along our route. We pull in. From the outside it looks like a vintage motel from the 60's. A little dated but otherwise decent. NOPE! We enter our hotel room and are instantly sickened by the wreaking scent of cigarettes and other smoke. Crack? Weed? Pipe? All of the above!!! The room is hideous. 3 identical velvet paintings on the wall, with 3 "beds" in a row. Furniture that was, I'm guessing, found on the side of the road or in a dumpster behind Goodwill. This shit wasn't bought from a hotel furniture distributor, that's fact. The Cons: (there are NO pros) The door didn't have a lock on it. We had to put a chair next to the door with our heavy suitcases on top to keep the door from just blowing open or from anyone just wondering in. The bathroom had black mold on every surface. The sink, bathtub, floor, toilet, and shower curtain were all spotted in black. The floors turned your feet black. The TV didn't work. The beds are ply-board platforms with JUST a box spring on top and 25 TC sheets. There are holes in the walls. It wreaks of several types of questionable smoke. To top this off, the next morning I went to return the keys and, as nicely as possible, addressed only the door issue with the elderly Indian woman at the desk. She told me that the door DID work, and I said I had pictures that it didn't as well as photos of the other things wrong with the room. She then started using disgusting profanities at me and became aggressive and hostile. Her son then ran out and asked what was going on, when I tried to explain to him the situation, he didn't care. The people who run this shithole are horrible. This "hotel" is horrible. You'd be better off sleeping in your car.

My son in law purchased my wife and I a week stay on this ranch and the price is fairly high on top…read moreof it all our stay and some problems with the owners wife treating me the was i was treated like a child we was at the dinner table and I got a phone call from my office so i told my office what they needed to do wasn't a very long call regardless i didn't know that they haad it posted about phones be at the table i fully understand the rule but it was the way it was presented to me she slaps a piece of paper down on the table like im a kid and highlight the area stating about phone bqe at the table but it was somewhat aggressive way when she could have said just said we don't have phones at the table and I do mean that ive not been treated like this since I was a i had to hold my tongue to keep from saying anything but yet on a couple of Occasions her husband use his and then the sons comes to help them and he has his phone out at the table it was abit of embarrassment to be treated like this the next thing was this was supposed to be a working ranch in the first 3 days we actually done nothing more than trail rode and moved 6 bulls so they was 2 more guys who felt the same that this was a expensive trail ride so i spoke with my wife and we packed up to come home 3 days earlier and so the other guy's came home the day after we did and i spoken with them and they were unhappy as well i could Go on and on about some more things but really what's the use this was very very disappointing for my child to spend the kind of money for a Trail ride i haven't spoken to anyone about this because I don't want to hear the excuses So i hope that others get a chance to read this before the get taken as we did i will be happy to let others know about this place in full details thanks for reading David Mason
