I feel fortunate to have taken my car to Red Bluff Auto Clinic! I was one my way home to Berkeley, and I had just picked up my car from another mechanic...and my car broke down. I called first thing Saturday morning and explained the situation, and asked if I could bring it in. They had 2 technicians looking at my car to figure out the issue. They were upfront with everything they did, timely, and thoroughly documented everything. They shared the bad news (I needed a new engine), and didn't pressure me to use their services for the work. But, after working with them for the assessment, I trusted their work, and gave them the ok to rebuild the engine. Joe even drove the car himself to double check the engine, and was open to me taking the car to his San Jose shop (as its closer to my home) if there are any issues. Im thankful for Joe and his team for working extensively to figure out what caused the problem (knowing I had to follow up with the first mechanic), and they remained very professional through out the process. If I did live in the area, I would definitely take my car back, knowing it was it good hands! read more

I had broken down on I-5 and extremely worried (never have been broken on roadside). Long story short, I was towed to RB Auto Clinic. It was closing time but the owner Joe was very helpful listening to my explanation of what had happened. He could tell I was very upset and not knowing how myself and 2 grandsons were going to get home...I live in Santa Rosa.....he was great in helping me to decide what to do. Although I eventually had my vehicle towed to Santa Rosa by a relative, Joe was kind enough to give me his cell phone number in case of needing to get my vehicle later that night (at this point no arrangements have been). Though he didn't do any repairs, he let me leave my vehicle in his yard locked up, safe and secure. Picture it, May 29th, 2026. Family road trip to Washington turned side of the road disaster after the car suddenly decides to stop accelerating on the I-5 going north. Stuck near Corning, CA right outside Red Bluff, waiting for AAA tow to pick us up. As we waited we were calling all kinds of places to see if they could take us and the one place that did was Red Buff Auto Clinic in Red Bluff, CA. Joseph and his team gave us the best service and treated us like family and even stayed a little later to make sure the car was ready to go. Now unfortunately, there is a lot more wrong with the car and again they gave us a solution and really helped us out in a bind. Joseph and his team showed us customer service to the 10th power! We were driving through Red Bluff when we had car trouble. We pulled in at closing time on a 100 degree Friday night. The owner took car for a test drive and returned with all that needed done and it was past closing. He had a family commitment but stayed, sent his wife across town 3 times for parts to fix our car. Amazing owners who are fantastic and great at what they do!! Parts had to be ordered so owner gave us his personal car to use for the weekend. Amazing, thoughtful and awesome! Joseph or "joe" is about as Honest as they come. I wasn't going to go there Until I read some reviews. His Approach to Customer Service is unprecedented. As I waited, I listened to him on the phone Very calmly telling another Potential Customer it's a Step by Step process. As he did me. I went in the morning on a Sunday at 8 am. Part was available. My Carmy Altenator/ Air compressor heavy duty belt broke. They called me two hours later. It was very reasonable and I was on my way.
