How to recall done on my Chevy 2022 diesel and now it will not pass smog. I've 1500 miles and the codes will not reset.

I have never felt like such a burden when I was the only customer on the lot. walked in prepared to purchase a vehicle had to address staff to be acknowledged. subsequent staff that came in after we had made contact were more interest in their fast food breakfast than customer service. I guess you really to have to be from the community to have this place want to sell you a car. it is no wonder why vehicle don't move from this lot. read more

We were on our way home on Saturday after a camping trip. My wife and I in our RV and my son in his Toyota pickup. Our son called to tell us that his truck had smoke coming from under the hood. We called a tow truck and had him tow the truck to an auto repair in Corning Ca, which was closed for the weekend While we were waiting I called the local Chevy dealer. I spoke to Greg Hogan asking about their stock, thinking that we could trade a blown up pickup truck for a new vehicle and be on our way. Greg asked our situation and I told him what was going on, It turned out that he didn't have an appropriate vehicle for us to buy. While we were waiting for the tow truck, Greg took the initiative to come by to speak to us in person, which impressed me. Greg suggested that instead of leaving the truck on the street, we could leave it in his lot behind a locked gate. It was a week before we could work out disposal of the truck. Greg was great! He was very helpful when we really needed help and didn't charge for storing the truck or any of the time he spent helping us. We are evacuees if the paradise fire and my mom's buick got burned up. We needed a new Buick so we stopped by Corning Chevrolet and saw this beautiful Buick envision on the lot and decided to buy it. All I can say is Danielle Halvorson the sales lady was awesome!! She spent a lot of time with me going over the many features of this car (and there are tons of nice features). These guys lack common sense it seems. When moving vehicles to other locations, they frequently pull out in front of traffic withojt regards to safety and the law. I work across the street from them and have almost been hit numerous times by their employees. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so often and most of the time after, they smile and flip me the bird. Horrible work ethic if you ask me. I would not recommend using their business. read more

I took my vehicle in on a recall. I decided to have the tires rotated while it was there. When there done I drive away and notice my tire monitoring sensor light is flashing. I go back and tell them this wasn't on when I brought it in. They said they ran a check engine scan and it showed up. Total lie, they damaged it rotating my tires and now wanted to charge me $65 for there mistake. Will not go there again for any service. read more

We did not purchase a truck here but we did get towed here. Service is not complete however I will say that this dealership went out of their way to help to get my family of 4 plus our dog and all our personal belongings a ride from red bluff by calling in a favor at another dealership. Then they helped us load all our stuff from our truck into one of theirs and drove us around to look for a vacant hotel to stay for the night. The next morning they called in another favor to help us get to Chico to pick up our rental car so we could get back home to So Cal. I want to thank Corning Chevrolet for the care with my first call regarding my Trailblazer!! Doug was the great guy that took time to listen and take great care what I told him what was happening with my Chevy. I then explained a "computer whiz " from SoCal tried to program my keyless entry and 10 hrs ( 11 pm at night ) later he managed to have every warning showing on my dash. My car wouldn't even start. Once it started my husband asked him to please get out as were moving the next day up north. My car drive great except all warnings still on !! We had bought a used truck from Corning 8+ years ago which still runs good and knew THIS WAS WHERE WE WANTED TO GO!! I had a rental car lined up from Enterprise in Red Bluff as they didn't know how long it may take! Then I called rental company and he said sorry no cars ! Then DOUG had a nice young man from there dealership drive me back to Chico Enterprise so I could get a rental. THIS PLACE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND... if you need a place you can TRUST!! BEWARE!!! Do not buy your vehicle here!!! I came here and bought a truck spending nearly $70,000 and was made promise after promise from my sales person Berto only for him not to keep a single one not only did he promise me two keys which he later told me I was going to have to pay for the second one but lie after lie about warranty information. Since I have bought this truck I have had problem after problem and this dealership that I bought it from has not helped me solve a single one of them I had to go elsewhere and pay out of my own pocket. They had my truck for an entire day because of a squeak coming from the front end and could not figure out where was coming from I took it to another diesel mechanic and within five minutes not only did he diagnose the problem but he fixed it. Also now, every time I go over 70 mph in my truck the entire thing vibrates and shakes so I called the dealer and what did they tell me? Their response was it sounds like it's an alignment issue which is not covered in your warranty they made this diagnosis without even looking at it by the way I really wish they would keep their promises and give me some kind of respect and decency with the amount of money I spent on this vehicle... fortunately I have a friend who is an editor for a big big big newspaper and magazine up here in Northern California and I will be forwarding my story on to him so he can post it for everyone to see.
