It felt disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. My room was never vacuumed, there were no toilet paper refills, and no kitchen detergent refills during my stay. I also called about extremely loud guests upstairs who were heavy on their feet, and management did nothing to address it. The laundry washer machines were broken, so I had to hand‑wash my clothes just to make sure I had something clean to wear for the next week. The gym was dirty, had broken equipment, and smelled strongly of mold and wet materials, making it completely unusable. Although the outside of the property looks newly renovated and elegant, the inside and the customer service are the complete opposite of its outside appearance. I was here for government training, and even after telling staff that, they still did not care. The "southern hospitality" that Alabama is known for did not exist here. For your peace of mind, go elsewhere. This property needs serious improvement in customer service, cleanliness, maintenance, and basic hospitality.

I explained that I obviously had been checked in because I already had a key and all of my belongings were in the room. Eventually, she gave me another key and let me back in. Then the next morning, the manager knocked on my door asking who I was, which just added to the confusion and inconvenience. Also, just something to be aware of: it's an older building, so you can hear people walking around pretty clearly from the rooms above. That part didn't bother me personally, but it may bother lighter sleepers. For the price, I expected a much smoother and cleaner experience.
