If there were 6 stars I'd give it! A truly small town deli with professional flavor. And the French baguette bread is the way to go on any sandwich. The Italian is the best with added vinegar and oil or the turkey brie or you will not go wrong on the Homesteader. A Little favorite for all folks in Eagle..... sandwiches are delightful and FRESH. Food outstanding. The French wheat baguette for my roast beef sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. Don't know if they bake it themselves. Was awesome. Best coffee in town. So good!!! If you like mochas or any other flavored drink the sky's the limit here. They will make anything you want and they're always creative with their own selections. Try the daily latte. You can even spike your drink should you so desire hehe! I've found their coffee to be the best in town. I would suggest if you get a flavored drink get it less sweet that's my only suggestion, the flavored drinks can sometimes be too sweet. But the drinks are consistent. The owner, his family and his employees are all great - not the fastest service but always very friendly and with a smile, with great connections to the local community. They serve the best americano in town, great hot chocolate and other drinks are delicious too. Their sandwiches are also quite tasty, and you can always learn a thing or two about what's going on in town while reading the walls and waiting for your order to come out. 4.5/5.0 only cause we all have our faults! I spent a few winters in Eagle, CO and this was one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich. Ryan, the owner, is about as friendly as they come. I thoroughly miss swinging through this spot on my way to work in the morning. I would always get the breakfast veggie and a cup of coffee. It cost me 5 bucks--where else can you get a delicious breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee in the Vail Valley for 5 bucks? The rest of the sandwich menu is pretty extensive with a variety of hot and cold sandwiches as well as various specials each day of the week. If you're in eagle and your hungry, stop in. You're sure to be greeted with a smile in and on your way out the door. A great way to start the day. read more

Everything about Red Canyon screams local...and I mean that in a good way. You'll feel the love when you walk in the door. Local artists can display their work here, customers can write notes and post them on the wall or ceiling. I come here about three times a week for coffee and about twice a month for lunch and have never been disappointed. Ryan and his staff are top-notch, friendly, fast, and courteous. Absolutely wonderful. I don't much care for sandwiches, but my french dip was great, and my husband LOVED his caprese panini. Chocolate croissant was wonderfully delicious. We stopped in to grab some breakfast sandwiches during our vacation a few weeks ago. This place is so unassuming and there is nothing fussy about it. Just delicious, fresh food and friendly staff. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to make my sandwich on gluten free bread with no issues. My husband requested some mild adjustments to his sandwich (no tomatoes, etc.) and his order came out exactly as he had requested. Stopped here for lunch to break up the drive between Moab and Denver. We were just looking to grab a quick and delicious sandwich somewhere, and that's exactly what we got! My friends that live in Eagle highly recommended Red Canyon, but I was worried that due to arriving at 2:45 (and closing at 3 on a Saturday), they'd be ready to pack up. Nope, not at all. Friendly, fast service and they let us sit inside and eat until 3:10. I got the veggie melt and I believe my friend got the southwest chicken sandwich. The ciabatta bread was perfectly grilled, the veggies were fresh, the chicken was tasty, and the sauces added a ton of flavor! We will definitely be back!! read more

Great sandwiches!! Love the variety and selection. The vegetarian options are amazing. As someone who was once a vegetarian I can really appreciate the effort that was put into making sure those with strict dietary needs are met and allergens aren't exposed! This place is a HIDDEN GEM!! I travel quite a bit for my job and the Red Canyon Cafe was recommended to me by a coworker. I've eaten there 3 times now and have NEVER been disappointed. I've always made my orders "to-go", because I normally swing in over my lunch hour and then head back to the office. I've called ahead and placed my orders and also gone in to order. Not once, have they ever made a mistake. Not once, has something been forgotten from my order and not one time has the food quality been a disappointment. I frequently order the Cobb salad. I know that sounds pretty boring, I'm here to say this is truly the FRESHEST salad I've ever consumed! The greens are always vibrant, never wilted or slimy, crisp and never soggy. The veggies on the salad are always crunchy and flavor filled. The bacon is real!! Not just crappy bacon-bits type stuff. The hard boiled eggs are always cooked to perfection and I top my salad with the pesto ranch. I know some of you might be thinking "it's just a salad," yes it is just a salad. If this place does salads so darn well, just wait until you try other menu items!! The Hot Italian sammie is also a major win! read more

I must admit I was disappointed when we walked in to see no table service and no standard breakfast fare. We thought about leaving but decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. Our breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Mine was egg, spinach, avocado and mozzarella - very light and fresh. My mother-in-law had the cinnamon bun heated and loved every bite. The green apples were sliced paper thin and glued to the bread with mayo and yellow mustard. Mayo and yellow mustard ... On a sandwich with apple and Brie.
