I am questioning her qualifications as a "manager", as she cannot deal with customers and solve the issues of her staff. Be careful, as Virginia is capable of twisting conversations to her corporate office to get her way at the expense of a good customer. We are happy to be cutting ties here. She responded that she "doesn't work for U-Haul," had other customers, and would not provide any discount--without even offering an apology for the inconvenience. This was especially disappointing considering I've been a customer here for the past six months. While I was in the office, she was also openly discussing issues about people living, cooking, and defecating on the property, which was very unprofessional. However, no one ever answered or returned my calls when I tried to confirm if early pickup was possible. The real issue came after drop-off. We returned the truck exactly at the agreed-upon time and parked it in the same spot we picked it up from, keys locked in the drop box as instructed. The next morning, I got a frantic call saying the truck was "missing." I explained where we left it, but the woman insisted she couldn't find it anywhere on the lot. When I asked if she had checked the lockbox, she admitted she hadn't -- then said she'd call back if there were any issues. I never heard from her again. No apology, no confirmation that the truck was indeed there -- nothing. It was very unprofessional and stressful thinking a U-Haul truck might be missing under my name. Clearly, she hadn't looked properly before calling. If you're renting from this place, make sure to take lots of photos to confirm that you actually returned the truck.

A woman sitting in her car in the parking lot rolled her window down and told me she was on lunch. I asked her to open up so I could buy boxes and she was adamant that she was on lunch. I explained that I wanted to spend money at her workplace and she refused to open the door and do her job for 5 minutes. I hope her boss sees this and fires her. She's costing him money.
