Red Coach luxury bus is comfortable, one of the things I love is the fact that it's clean. I do appreciate that they keep the interior of the buses in good condition. No torn up or broken down seats. All of the bus drivers that I have encountered have been very polite with this company. I have to say red coach does really care about its customers. There was one incident in which the air conditioning wasn't working on the bus. We had just left Tampa,Florida, and the air-conditioning went out ( Trust me. This is very unusual for this to happen on this bus line) , we stopped off in Ocala. The driver tried his best to fix the air conditioning on the bus, but to no avail. Now I knew we still needed to get to Gainesville and Tallahassee. Guess what red coach bus line did? Unfortunately, they would not be able to send a bus to Ocala to pick us up. But they ordered Ubers XL to take us all to our destinations! Trust me, greyhound would never do that!! I have been on a greyhound bus when the air condition wasn't working. Not only did they not order a new bus they just opened up the hatches at the top of the bus and let the air flow in from there. All the way to Tallahassee from Tampa!! Not the most comfortable ride. I would not recommend RedCoach. I arrived early at the scheduled stop with four other passengers, and we all watched the bus drive right past us without stopping. Customer service gave conflicting explanations, refused to believe us at first, and would not immediately issue a refund. I ended up paying for an expensive hotel due to the Spurs playoff game, additional dog care in Dallas, and another bus ticket to get home. It is good that there is a bus to cross Florida that is comfortable but, Red coach needs to be more customer friendly. At the Fort Lauderdale airport the pick area has been changed with no clear notice where the shuttle drops passengers from the Tri-Rail Train. So if you miss the bus waiting for it or see it sailing by. You have no alternative but to buy a whole new ticket for more money! A bus ticket should be good for 24 hours. What really irks me is that the bus line does not give you a straight refund. They give you vouchers. I have should have a refund of approx. $31.00. It's an affordable way to travel. The bus is clean and comfortable. What more could you want out of transportation? I will say that the Wi-Fi wasn't great but I loved having the bus tracker online. It tells you exactly when you will arrive and if there are any delays. It was a great experience using this company and I would most definitely use them again. read more

This past weekend, my 65-year-old mother was left stranded at a designated turnpike pickup spot by this company's bus. The driver didn't even pull into the stop--just drove right past without making any attempt to pick her up. She was left standing there, confused and vulnerable, with no communication or assistance. When I contacted customer service, they confirmed the driver did not stop and offered nothing more than a refund or a voucher. No apology, no urgency, no accountability. I bought a ticket business class from Gainesville to Fort Pierce. The bus is black, not red. It is like being on an economy airline my knees are in the back of the seat in front of me, The-seats are small, hard and and uncomfortable. I haven't been this uncomfortable since my last economy flight on an airline. Avoid buying online ticket from this bus company. I purchased a ticket to travel on January 4 but on January 1 they sent me an email me stating the trip was rescheduled one day earlier, January 3. I tried to cancel online and by calling the customer support. The chat is a bot that only says a representative will help you shortly but no real person responded in 6 hour time to help. I tried to call but each time I called their (321) number it went to a voicemail and when I called (877) number the automated message said, "please call later." WELL DON'T RIDE RED COACH IF YOU ARE MIXED RACE AND A YOUNG LADY!!!... My daughter who is 18 and alone rode the red coach for the first time today and sat right behind the driver as we taught her. This is the safest place. However, at the UF stop going back to her college in Tallahassee was awoken by a white male bus rider and told to get up and get out of the seat. Being the respectful daughter we taught her to be, she just gathered her belongs and tried to change seats. Then the white rider told my daughter she could not sit in the seat she was trying to move to. With this, my daughter tried to get HELP from the driver, who seemed very uninterested in helping her. Then even, looking at my daughter as though she needed to sit down or get off. After calling her parents, we tried to let corporate know what happened and make a complaint, there was no answer, no one wanted to hear from us, no way to leave a message. On Friday, August 23, 2024 I had the most horrible experience with RedCoach. My trip from Orlando to Tallahassee was ruined by the bus being 4 hours late. I arrived at the Orlando Station at 4:30 am since departure was supposed to be at 5:00 am. Passengers were kept waiting until 8:30 am and later on we were told the driver for our bus was nowhere to be found. At 9:00 am a downgraded bus from Orange Lines showed up and we arrived in Tallahassee at 2:00 pm. The Orange Lines bus was disgusting. The bathroom had duct tape on the sink and the floor was covered in a puddle of dirty water. The email sent from RedCoach on Friday 8/23 discussed compensation would be delivered within 48hrs however that has not happened. A full refund is due since the service I paid for was never delivered. Overall, it was a nightmare. read more

I used RedCoach twice to get from Gainesville to Miami for a cruise. The first time everything went well; the driver was great, picked us up on time and helped with the baggage. The second time? Not so good. I got on the bus about an hour before dawn and most of the other passengers were asleep. I was wide awake and in the first seat on the right, with a great view of the driver and the road. I noticed the driver kept flashing his headlights at oncoming traffic on the interstate, was weaving back and forth in the lane, and kept slowing and speeding abruptly, jerking the bus back and forth (I was grateful for the seatbelt so I didn't pitch forward onto the floor!). Eventually I began to feel nauseous from this crazy driving and threw up within a half hour of getting on the bus. Thankfully we were switched to another driver after a stop in Orlando and things went smoothly from there. I decided to give them another chance and have been trying to book another ticket, but the website hasn't been working correctly for some reason. If I could give it negative stars I would. 1. Upon arrival at the Orlando Bus station on McCoy Road, I noticed there was at least 100 people inside and outside of the bus station building. It was a scene and It reminded me of what you might think of when you imagine a grayhound bus station. It was not organized or well kept at all. It was chaos. 2. My wife purchased a business class bus ticket (from Orlando to Ft Lauderdale, route 9009) which if you look at their website is supposed to have larger seats, a deep recline, working HVAC, working WiFi, working electrical outlets, etc. THE BUS SHE WAS ON HAD NONE OF THESE THINGS. It was basically an economy bus which they say is business class. 3. Actually I think they made the Business Class passengers get on the economy bus and the economy bus passengers get on the business class bus. The staff there, including the attendant, Waleshka ,was extremely rude and a bit clueless. You cannot reason with her. When a bus with big letters stated "Business Class" on the side of it pulls up she tells everyone this is the economy bus. Then when the red economy bus shows up, she tells everyone this is the business class bus. 4. We tried to talk some sense into her and the bus driver of the bus with the word "Business Class" printed on it ( he was a 30-year old latino male driver) both of them became combative with every one of the business class passengers that tried to ask questions. The bus driver was condescending. When I asked if this was the 1:05pm bus to Fort Lauderdale his response was "look at your watch". He had a smart ass response for every serious inquiry. It's like this company is run by a bunch of clowns. 5. From looking at the interior it is evident that the bus that my wife was told to get on was not business class. Waleshka lied or was so moronic that she couldn't tell the different. The seats were small, had very little recline, the A/C didn't work, the electrical outlets didn't work, etc. If that is business class, my uncle owns the statue of liberty. 6. We called the 877 - 733 - 0724 number provided at the front desk and calling that number leads to a lady that was equality has clueless about bus locations and time. This is one of the worse transportation experiences that we've had. I highly recommend you search for the several other bus services from Orlando to South Florida. Please do yourself a favor and try Coach USA or MegaBus or FlixBus or maybe even Grayhound may be better. read more

RedCoach is the most amazing bus service ever! It was my first experience with RedCoach, and I am so glad that my partner found it last minute! We never would have made it to the music festival that we were struggling to get to if she hadn't discovered the website, which offers incredible prices for the quality! My partner and I were trying desperately to make it from Orlando to Bonaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN. We managed to receive passes to the festival last minute in exchange for a few hours of volunteer work throughout the weekend. I couldn't believe our luck- at the time. That part of our trip is a whole different story...a not so positive one, either. I wish we had stayed on the bus!! Anyway, we were quickly running out of time to get there. I was so determined to get there to see some of my favorite artists perform, but the cost of transportation to the area was skyrocketing - and selling out...Fast. We were down to the last few hours before the festival started, and still had no way to get there. Again, we received the opportunity at the very last minute. Don't judge! Luckily, my partner discovered a RedCoach bus that was leaving for Atlanta in about 35 minutes from the time we found the bus, and the price was so affordable, it seemed like the only option we had left! We decided to book it & attempt to race to the station. Of course, our Uber took 15 minutes to get to us. We were terrified that we weren't going to make it in time. It was our last chance to get to the festival, period. We called the station in desperation, begging the operator to ask the driver to please wait just a few minutes. We were on our way and we're still coming. It was a shot in the dark. We didn't think it would work. On a Greyhound, it never would have. The bus was still there when our Uber pulled up! The entire bus was full and ready to take off. We immediately jumped on and couldn't have been more thankful. We still are! The driver literally waited for us, or so it seemed. They truly care for their passengers. I simply could not believe it! I still can't. On top of that, the bus was so comfortable. The seats in the bus recline, the bathroom is extremely nice, it smells good, there is free WiFi, and there are USB plugs, outlets, and cup holders. We arrived in Atlanta super early. The entire ride was smooth and very comfortable. I would have taken it all the way to Tennessee if they had a route available! If you are in need of transportation from Orlando, you have to try the RedCoach. The prices are incredible and the bus ride will be even better! read more

I have never had a pleasant or normal ride on this bus company. One time, they changed the pick up spot without notice and left me and other passengers. The next time, the driver asked us all to give reviews repeatedly and then yelled "you're welcome" sarcastically at every customer when handing them their luggage. On the ride I'm on right now, the bus driver yelled at me and another passenger for being late (even though we were 7 minutes early) because our ticket said we were supposed to be there 20 minutes ahead of time (side note: I've never seen a Red Coach at this stop 20 minutes ahead of time). This same driver almost refused to let some people on the bus even though they were waiting outside the doors 3 minutes before departure. Red Coach, please just provide relatively sane drivers, consistent pick up points, and an uneventful ride! The bar could not be lower. read more

My experience riding redcoach between orlando and miami were fine. We booked the first class bus and the seats were very spacious with tons of leg room and a full recline. The times they had available and drop off points were great as well. My issues are a bit nitpicky I guess -- for one thing, this is a new bus service, but you can tell the interior of the buses arent very new and look worn. There was also trash in the seats that wasnt cleaned up after the last trip. Im guessing that means the bus was not sanitized either, unfortunately. The terminal in Orlando was absolutely filthy with trash and food all over the ground. It looked like what you'd expect of a greyhound bus stop. The website also says there is on board wifi -- there's no wifi on the bus. The bus driver even confirmed it didnt work. One lady was having issues because she couldn't connect to the internet and I dont think she had any internet access on her phone. They shouldnt advertise this if its not available -- I was hoping to get some work done on 5 hour trip but couldnt. It took about 5 hours from miami to orlando, and 3.5 hours from orlando to miami. Other than that, no real complaints. Their first class bus is more comfortable than riding an Amtrak or Flixbus, but not necessarily as clean. read more

The experience we had from start to finish was well below already lenient expectations, and must be addressed from a professional standpoint. This is in re a trip from Miami Airport to their Orlando office on bus 5650. The driver from the beginning was short with passengers and was on a phone or some conversation near the entirety of the trip. They scraped curbs, braked hard often on the freeways, and left us feeling unconfident that our safety was any sort of priority. We understand that many driving conditions are out of the driver's control, but at least some effort on their part would be appreciated. This is a longer than four-hour journey advertised as business class and it was certainly far from it. There were no scheduled restroom/pit stops, and the restroom was inadequately stocked. There was no toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitizer, nor running water. If this were a short trip, this may be acceptable but frankly gross for the length of this trip. Had we known the restroom situation prior, we would not have booked or at the very least made efforts that would have ensured our group all had an opportunity to relieve themselves before leaving. An unannounced stop was made at a travel center and an older guest on our reservation informed the driver of there being no toilet paper in the restroom and if this stop would allow time for her to use the restroom. The driver shrugged off the request for more toilet paper and noted the stop was not for restrooms and the bus left shortly thereafter. On that, all stops along the route were unaccounced, there were no signs on board with the itinerary, nor was the itinerary posted on the reservation except your own stop. A man realized they had reached their stop albeit a little too late. The driver had continued, so when the man asked to be let off, he was dropped off ON THE FREEWAY SHOULDER! Whatever policy or procedure that is keeping the driver from taking a brief, safe detour to debark passengers regardless of "fault" must be reevaluated. I'm sure most, if not all, passengers would understand the slight delay in the name of safety. It would be most beneficial to the company, its employees, and passengers for additional training and maintenance of all aspects of the bus. We understand the constraints and challenges of bus transportation on a schedule, but with the bare necessities being missed it is concerning what is being missed or shrugged off elsewhere. We agree with other posted reviews where the seats were comfortable, but the lack of really any other amenity besides WiFi was very disappointing when you expect business-class travel. This particular bus did not have tray tables, so further straying from what a business-class experience would infer. After seeing how the toilet situation was addressed, I had my brother disconnect anyway. If the shortcomings elsewhere would be indicative of the security of the WiFi, I would not want to be connected to that for personal nor business use. For the cost, it's best to accept a slightly more uncomfortable seat for a usable bathroom, pleasant staff, and adherence to common sense safety procedures. Greyhound will likely prove to be a superior experience in most, if not all, ways. We could not, in good conscience, recommend anyone book with RedCoach until they make changes to earn your business. It was embarrassing for our family and should be embarrassing for this company. We would expect this from cheaper or econo-branded services, but when we book a business-class experience we have those expectations. read more

DO NOT USE. One of the worst experience I have EVER had riding a regional bus. I have lived all across the country and used several different companies to ride from city to city when I don't feel like driving my car (which is often). RedCoach emailed me the day before my trip which was scheduled for early afternoon and stated that I had been "Upgraded for free" to a more luxurious bus. This sounded great. I went to sleep and then went to the pick up spot 30 minutes before the bus was scheduled to leave. The bus never came. I went back to that email to make sure I didn't miss anything but all it said was that I had been "upgraded". When I went back to the website, there was no bus listed at the time that I had purchased my bus tickets for. They completely changed the bus itinerary and canceled my bus without ever telling me. They actually had the audacity to EMAIL me that I was being upgraded when in reality, they completely canceled my trip. They didn't even try to mention the cancellation or itinerary change. Myself and several other people were sitting there stranded, waiting for a bus that was NEVER going to come, and that we were never notified about. They refunded me back my ticket after about one month, however I spent $200 that night getting back to my home. Worst experience ever. I will never use them again. DO NOT USE. read more

After reading their ads I decided to take what I thought would be a productive and comfortable trip despite the long hours from Orlando to Miami. Maybe my expectations were set to high or maybe they just don't deliver what they promise, but the experience was a laughable excuse for business class travel. The only good thing was the seat was relatively comfortable and my body was not sore from sitting for 5 plus hours on a hard seat. Now for the rest of the story. AC- too cold and could not close the vent, only redirect slightly Trays- Not even present! My laptop was literally a laptop. Not so business class like! Cup holders- again non-existent! Really?! They expect you to hold a cup of coffee or bottles water between your legs while working on your laptop? By the way, they don't have coffee or any drink service on the bus. Leg support- The fold down leg rest stows covering the tiny band you might call a magazine holder for tiny magazines. Not really functional for anything and not accessible if you are not using the leg rest, and if you are you are likely reclined and could not reach it anyway as it is way down near foot level. As it is the only form of storage available, it would be nice if it were more accessible. Oh, and the foot rests are on the floor. Why bother? Timeliness- the bus was an hour late arriving at the pick up location and an hour and a half late arriving at the drop off location Stop- Way too many! Cost- $60 one way for Business class. If it were true Business class would not be bad, but for a cheap economy experience, which is what was delivered, it is waaay overpriced! They applied a $9.00 discount at the time of booking which I thought was nice until I lived the experience! Even at $51 it is a total rip off! Ride- Very bumpy! I'm surprised the restroom stayed relatively clean, probably because it was so tiny it was like a restraint anyway! Advice #1- Anything Greyhound has would be a much better experience. I have taken Greyhound from Los Angeles to San Diego recently and the experience and quality was 10 times nicer and this was on their coach line! I actually used this as a benchmark and thought that (as advertised) Redcoach must be much better. Boy was I wrong! More like negative 5 stars for me. Upon many issues as in bus not being labeled, no bus number give as well as parked at different address than what I was told. Then called to see what was going on I was told the bus was 15 minutes late and to wait in a different area (different address!), after waiting that 15 minutes I called back and was told they left. Rep eventually hung up on when and when I called back I was told how very wrong I was and the could get me on a bus at 4pm the next day. I mentioned multiple times this was for a funeral in the morning. When I asked for a supervisor I was told no and try emailing the help line..... where basically I was told the exact same crap. It's a great opportunity to move people from up and down Florida with ease without airport hassles and at an economical cost. Bad experience on this trip. We arrived 45 minutes late to destination in freezing bus temperatures. On the way back, the air conditioning broke and we were riding in 100 degree temperatures. I sat in the front row and can read the digital thermostat from my seat. Then, the bus driver confirmed that we were riding steadily between 99-100 degree temperatures. I am providing a picture of the internal temperature read after opening the bus windows. It is now ONLY 91 degrees. We will arrive 30 minutes late and ride for 4.5 hours in 100 degree heat. No soap or hand sanitizer in the bathroom. It appears as if the maintenance and mechanicals need more attention and investing. This company should not be in business. My husband traveled to Orlando from Miami. When he was getting off the bus in Orlando he specifically ask the drive.. Is this where you will pick me back up? The driver said YES. The bus was supposed to leave 7:40 well guess what???? NEVER SHOWED. There were no flights so my husband had to rent a car and drive back to Miami at 1:00 in the morning. I called the company and they could care less. They REFUSED to let me speak to a MANAGER and hung up on me. We wrote letters and NO RESPONSE. Used to use this all the time while I was in college. There was never a problem, bus ran on time, and riders were mostly students so I always felt safe as a young female. I now only take the bus when flights are too expensive. Now, the bus typically runs anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hour+ late. I recently experienced a driver pulling the bus over on the Turnpike so he could use the bathroom and then proceeded to wait almost 30 minutes at a stop for no apparent reason. They are either freezing or hot; no in between. Customer service is non-existent and when I brought this up to them they simply sent me a 20% coupon (that I still have not even been able to redeem because they do not send me the code). Lastly, as a young female I sometimes do not feel safe knowing they take ZERO safety measures for their riders. No bag checks, no metal detectors before boarding, nothing. It's really scary in today's day & age with all the crazy stuff that happens. Overall, the service is reliable getting you where you need to be but if you have somewhere to be at a specific time I would not count on them. read more

They are horrible! Their drivers are rude and unprofessional. I used them 3 times, traveling from Gainesville to Atlanta. The 2nd time I used them the driver was late and did not let me put my bag underneath the bus. He was rushing and told me to go sit down. The sad part is I wasn't even late, I was there over 30 minutes early and had to wait for the bus. The driver then sped off and hit a car! After the police came and did their investigation, the driver contacted RedCoach and even though it was his fault and the car was totaled that he hit because he was rushing, they let him continue to drive to Atlanta anyway. This 3rd and last time that I used them my bus ticket said 12:30am for departure. I got to the bus at 12:13am. The bus driver was standing outside the bus waiting and as soon as I walked up to him he started yelling and cursing at me. Saying when he calls me that I need to answer my phone. First of all, he texted me around 10pm and the only thing he texted me was "I am the bus driver." I was confused and texted back "Ok." The driver texted back a thumbs up emoji. What kind of foolishness is that?! And how was I supposed to know who he was calling me? He told me at the bus that he shouldn't let me get on the bus! Excuse me! I wasn't late and the scheduled departure time was 12:30am. I had to drive from Ocala and when I tracked the bus it said arrival time was 12:25am. How was he not going to let me ride when I already purchased my ticket and wasn't late? The RedCoach company need to thoroughly screen their bus drivers and have a camera on the bus so they can monitor them. I will NOT use them again! read more
