Disney's Magical Express is awesome! I love free transportation from the airport to my Disney hotel and think it's one of the main benefits of staying on property. However the Welcome Center, is a slightly different story. It's still not a *bad* experience but man, the wait. They need to do something to speed it up a bit during peak times. I've been to Disney about 15x and usually don't have an issue checking in and getting to the hotel. But on this last trip we must have arrived at a busy time as lines were insane to check in for the bus. We ended up waiting 45 minutes just to get scanned in to wait for the bus. OY. We don't do Disney lines and didn't love starting off our trip with such a wait. It made my travel companion a bit crabby. Once we finally got to the front of the line though, staff was friendly and we got on the bus & going in less than 10 minutes after that. My best advice is to try to plan your arrival in a slightly more off peak time to avoid the lines.

This is really nice. From the airport is a bus that will drive you to your hotel They have a good system where they already know your name and send you to the correct bus for transportation. The driver reviews where everyone is going so no one gets loss. This is a good double check system He continues the drive with trivia and stats about Mickey Minnie and Walt Disney There is a video which explains information on how to use technology from your phone to navigate through check in the front desk to your hotel room and park We didn't have to retrieve our luggage it is all picked up and transported for you to your hotel room for you. So no dragging luggage around.

Such a convenience to have as transportation when getting to your hotel in Disney world. Once arriving at Orlando airport, it took awhile to find where Disney Magical Express was located, but after walking back and forth and finally asking for directions we discovered it was located on the very lower level of the airport. Staff was very friendly and helpful please register ahead of time for this transportation service and make sure to have your confirmation number ready during checking in so that service can move smooth and fast. Disney Magical Express bus was large and clean, it also had a bathroom and tv's which of course played Disney movies. Overall whenever your in Disney please take advantage of this complimentary service when getting too and from the airport.

This is strange but it is one of the most memorable aspects of the WDW experience. It is well orchestrated (although other people sometimes turn it into an afternoon at the zoo). Otherwise plenty of staff guiding and looking for ways to streamline embarking the magical express. It is very Disney to provide a service where you don't even have to fetch your bags at baggage claim. I can imagine a bunch of behind the ears Disney people saying "won't baggage claim detract from the magic and facade of Disney" Lets take that out of the equation. I think its great and then you can relax and ride the bus while watching Disney trivia and classic cartoons. Win-Win!

They sure make it easy to get to the resort.

Disney's Magical Express the only way to fly... Or take the bus. A couple of weeks before you Disney vacation you'll receive a package from Disney's Magical Express that contains your itinerary and special Disney luggage tags. The day you depart for the airport attached the tags to your luggage and check it in at the airport When you arrive in Orlando proceed directly from the arrival gate to the Magical Express terminal, scan your Magic Band and board the bus destined for your on-property Disney Resort. No need to collect your luggage the Disney Team Members will do it for you and it will be left in your room sometime that evening. Better pack a day bag so you have some fresh cloths when you arrive. The Magical Express will deposit you are your resort where you can check-in and immediately being enjoying all that the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. The day before your departure another package will be left in your room containing instructions on where and when to be to catch the Magical Express back to the airport, boarding passes and luggage tags to once again pre-check your bags. No need to schlep you bags back to the airport Disney does it for you and they will be checked-in with the airline before you flight. It couldn't be easier, more convenient or magical.

Unless you get here just at the right time, you will probably have to wait a little bit, but it's not bad. I think we waited about 20 minutes to get on a bus that took us to our hotel at Disney Springs. The bus was comfortable. This will definitely be our choice again next time we visit Orlando.

I checked and was directed to stand in one of the many roped off lines based on my hotel/resort destination. I arrived at 5:55pm and the first person in my line. At 6:07pm a staff member announced that there were several busses dropping of people on the other side of the airport and it would be about 20 minutes. One of these buses was for our line of people waiting. There was one large tour type bus outside and the line adjacent to me was the line for that bus. I noticed while I stood there for 30 minutes that bus was there for 30 of those 30 minutes before it took off. By 6:30pm no buses had arrived and there were only 4 people behind me and after watching the last bus sit and wait for people to arrive and fill up. I decided I was done waiting and I left. Used Mears to save money but in my opinion it was not worth it. I had been travelling all day and just wanted to get to my hotel so I ordered ride-share who picked me up in 5 minutes (once I found the ride-share area at the airport) and was at my hotel in about 20 minutes.

But if you like to ride on long trips sitting next to loud cursing, threats, and physical altercations this is the bus for you. 20 bucks each way, per person, from MCO Orlando, FL to Port Canaveral and back. Can't beat that!…read more We needed a ride to Port Canaveral to go on our Norwegian cruise. I saw most companies charging at least $50 one way. Lyft and Uber were charging $60+ one way. I went on trip advisor and someone suggested this company. So I booked it. Booking process: I went online. Filled out the form as to arrival time, airline used, flight number, cruise ship name, etc. They emailed me back giving me all the details as to where to find them upon arrival into MCO, with clear pictures, and was instructed to reply to the email to complete the reservation. Which I did and then got a reply that the booking was complete. Airport arrival: We did exactly what the instructions stated and found a very friendly lady with a clipboard at the designated pick up spot. She checked us in. We paid $40 each in cash for the 2 of us and got a receipt. You can use a credit card too. We loaded our luggage into the vehicle and it was a 45 min ride to the port. The shuttle: Cloth, cozy seats, air conditioned, clean, ample aisle space, but not much leg room. It had about 25-30 seats. Arrival at the port: Communication was nil upon arrival. Everyone just got off the shuttle and went to get their luggage. But most of us were standing around unsure what to do next. It was our first cruise, we had no idea that there are guys that come and tag your luggage with your name and cabin number and then deliver it to your cabin. We also didn't know we had to go to that same area to look for Cortrans to go back to MCO when we get back from our cruise. I just wish the driver or the greeter said something. Regardless, we figured it out and went on our way. Leaving the port: We found a friendly gentleman with a Cortrans clipboard at the same area we initially got dropped off at. We checked in with him with our last name. Loaded up our luggage and went on our way to MCO. Before leaving, the driver introduced himself to everyone, I believe his name was Ahmed, and told us where exactly he'll be dropping us all off, where to go when we arrive into the airport, and what to do when we get there. He had us wait in the shuttle while he unloaded everyone's luggage. I appreciated that. THANK YOU Ahmed! Overall, it was a pleasant and smooth experience. I would definitely use their transportation services again the next time I need to go to Port Canaveral.
