Absolutely Lifesaver on the 4th of July!…read more I am on a long road trip with my family in our 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander when our dashboard suddenly lit up with a bunch of serious malfunction errors, and the car lost driving power. It was incredibly stressful, especially since it happened right before the holiday weekend when almost every other repair shop was completely closed. I pulled into this Steve's Shell Service Center, and Steve stepped up to help us. He was incredibly friendly, kind, and calm. He is extremely knowledgeable about modern vehicle electronics and took the time to listen to what happened, scan the vehicle's computer codes, and explain exactly what was causing the glitch. He cleared the error codes for us completely for free so we could get back on the road safely and finish our holiday trip. After a long test drive, the car is running perfectly normal again and all the dashboard lights are gone. Steve didn't just fix our car's electronic glitch; he saved our entire holiday weekend. If you ever need honest, expert, and genuinely caring mechanical help, go see Steve at this Shell station. I cannot thank him enough!

We recently traveled from California to Duck Creek Village near Cedar City, UT for a family…read morereunion. My car was running fine all the way to Cedar City but once I started going up the mountains to get to the campgrounds my engine light went on and my car was sluggish. We barely made it to our cabin that Friday afternoon. As soon as we arrived, I started looking for someplace to take my car to be looked at because I wasn't sure we'd make it back to California on the next Monday. All the automotive places were closed for the weekend but I happened to find Steve's Shell. How lucky was I to come across them. I was able to get an appointment the next afternoon. We cautiously drove down the mountain the next day and met John. John was sincerely one of the nicest guys we've ever met. He listened to our story, ran a diagnostic and talked to us about the issue. My car had a history of having problems going up hills but running perfectly fine otherwise. The code had reflected that the car put the engine in a "limp mode" stage to protect it. John cleared the code and my car was running fine; however, I was leery about driving it back up the mountain. John was kind enough to let me leave it parked at the station until my family reunion ended on Monday morning. He changed my air filter, topped off my oil and put an additive in my gas tank. The price for everything was so reasonable and his validation that we should make it home safely gave me great comfort. Well, John we did make it home safely and my car is still running fine. Thank you so much for all your help and the genuine care and support you gave us. I hope anyone that happens to pass through Cedar City and needs car help will find your station. Forever grateful, The Solis Family.

Started taking my three vehicles there, and every time, good service and good prices. An old truck was having some road noise issues. I took it to the dealer, who wrote me up a service order for $2600. I suspected that Matt's could beat that price. I left the truck at Matt's, but Matt called me after 20 minutes, and said I needed to come back to the shop. That worried me a little, but when I got there, he had my truck up on the lift, and showed me that all 4 items the dealer said needs replacing, were sound and didn't need repair or replacement at all. Saved me $2600 (less the cost of the shocks that he pointed out were in poor condition..and then almost all the road noise went away!). That sure cemented me to use only Matt's. Brought my cargo trailer in prior to a long road trip, and I wanted them to check everything out. They did, and when I offered to pay, he said "No charge. Didn't take us long, and you're a good customer..." or something like that. I am a mechanical idiot, but they never talk down to me, or make me feel stupid. And I always get a fair price from them. No wonder they are rated #1 in Iron County so frequently.
