Thursday-Friday 12pm-6 pm Saturday-Sunday 10am-6 pm Closed Monday-Wednesday ( it's confusing if you are searching for the address on any GPS & depending which phone device you have . *Smart phone users type 1300 N. Colton Ave. *Android phone users type 1300 Colton Ave. My friend referred me to this thrift store after our conversation about where to donate clothing to. I was directed to their IG account @theshopspecialty , called the # on IG since the business hours was not listed . In their IG videos they specialize in clothing and vintage items, nostalgic fashion items and toys . They do stock seasonal clothing such has ski boots, ski overalls , winter pants and jackets . stop in to donate some bags of toys and clothes . We were a bit early the young gentleman was kind to let us drop our donations. He invited me in the store while he set up to open. My initial thought was the store smells so good with scented vanilla aroma , the store is clean, well organized . Price is comparable to other similar type stores. They do specialize in snow gears , by appointment only , merchandise selection is depending on inventory availability. Spoke to the young employee, he also me mentioned they own the Smile Time Party Rentals in the same parking lot. ( so if anyone is interested in renting jumpers, tables/ chairs and mechanical cow they definitely can help. Awesome owners , friendly people. Stop in to support your local business.

I met a friend here to check out the store! Everything kept neatly organized according to season !! I got me a sparkly sweater and a panda shirt !!! Got some Jibbitz for my grandkids' Crocs!!! Indeed a specialty store for all ages for every season!!

The service was exceptional, the store was clean, and the prices were great! I'll definitely be coming back here.

I came here just to browse because I always find good quality and sometimes brand new name brand items. The cashiers work extra hard to keep the checkout lines down. The clothes are organized to their best ability by sizes, women's, men's, infants, children's, youth, electronics, toiletries, and boutique. I even found new toys for my fur babies I truly believe this place is a hidden gem located in San Bernardino. And yes they have very friendly security guards who tell you, "Hello how are you" "Thank you." The workers walking around filling up the racks with more goodies. They don't mind answering questions, concerns and lots of patience with unruly children. Parking lot is kinda of unlimited and shared with another business next door but I always have a way to park! Come in and visit it's not bad at all and guarantee you will find something good!

Our teens found a few cool items but to be honest a lot of the stuff is way overpriced. Also make sure you triple check your items before purchasing because...I found a bunch of jeans with huge holes in them and they were still pricing them a 15 bucks. Especially the ladies jeans with huge holes in the thigh area. So most definitely check due to their no exchange no refunds clause. Overall it's ok but you really gotta hunt for the good items. Employees were ok. Checkout is a machine that takes cash or cards.

The owner is purchasing and upselling (up to triple the price from the department store). The owner does sprinkle some antiques around the store but the items are overpriced. It's also kind of weird that the owner has a huge photograph of herself behind the cashier counter. Not a fan of this store when there are plenty of other stores worth shopping at walking distance.

I got about a third of the way into the store, admiring the wide array of vintage food craft tools - when I came upon the prominent display of the T-shirt "Try that in a small town". Knowing that this is a racist T-shirt advocating the lynching of African-Americans I realized that it was an intentional statement to black and brown people so I immediately left the store and wrote this second review. The first review was removed by Yelp because I gave it five stars. That's why I adjusted it to one star. Presently no one should patronize the store if they have a conscience and are wanting to make the world a better place.

The only thing that's crazy expensive is the jewelry. Like I know damn well a jade bracelet that I could get for $20 at a crystal shop is not $60!!! It's probably fake. ?? It was 7:40 and they close at 8pm and a lady with a high ass bun was saying out loud they'll be closing in 10 minutes????? It felt like I was being watched by an older man too. He kept fixing the racks when I wasn't really even touching them. And i started to fix them like how he had them and he would still go back a fix it. Like boy. Relax I guess it's my fault for coming in at 7 ? But it was 7:40 and they still had 20 minutes. The store though is super organized, maybe because they fix whatever you move right away lol. And idk the workers gave me weird vibes. Good stuff though and prices are better than good will /: 7/10

I want to start by saying that I believe secondhand stores are meant to serve the community by…read moremaking gently used items available at affordable prices while still allowing the business to make a profit. That balance is what makes secondhand stores so valuable, especially for families who may not always be able to afford retail prices. I have donated to this location several times throughout the years because I genuinely believed my donations were going back into the community and helping families find good-quality clothing and other items at reasonable prices. I have also shopped here many times. Unfortunately, over time, I have started noticing a huge difference between the mission of a secondhand store and the way items are actually being priced and handled at this location. I have personally seen items that I donated later being sold for $15-$20, while other used clothing in good condition is routinely priced at $10 or more. At that point, I have to ask myself: How is this still considered affordable for the community? Another frustrating issue is the lack of Apple Pay. In today's world, contactless payment has become extremely common, and not accepting Apple Pay is a major inconvenience for customers. I have also experienced situations where two identical items were priced differently. When I pointed this out to an employee, the store refused to honor the lower price and told me the other item would simply be put back on the floor in three or more days. When the products are essentially identical, that kind of response feels unnecessarily difficult and disappointing from a customer-service standpoint. After giving this location numerous chances, I have decided that I will no longer be donating here. Instead, I have started seeking out local mothers and families who are actually in need and giving my items to them for free. Honestly, I feel much better knowing that my donations are going directly to someone who needs them rather than being marked up and resold. I understand that organizations such as Goodwill and the Salvation Army need to make money in order to operate. I completely understand that these businesses have expenses and need to generate revenue. However, when used items are being priced so high that they are comparable to or sometimes not much cheaper than what you could purchase brand-new at Walmart or Target, I have to question who the store is really serving. Growing up, my parents didn't always have the money to buy brand-new clothes and shoes for me at the beginning of the school year. Being able to find clean, good-quality clothing at an affordable price made a huge difference for my family. Now that I am in a better financial position, I could easily go to Walmart or Target and spend $25 or more on something brand-new. Instead, I have intentionally chosen to shop at secondhand stores because I want to support businesses that I believe are helping the community. Unfortunately, the pricing, customer service, cleanliness, and overall management at this location have left me extremely disappointed. I truly hope management takes feedback like this seriously. Please do better not just for yourselves as a business, but for the community you are supposed to be serving. There are families who genuinely rely on secondhand stores to find affordable necessities, and they deserve better.
