I can't speak to the tattoos at this place, but DO NOT let them near anything you want pierced. I had to remove a ton of piercing jewelry due to major surgery, and wanted to have it put back in before the holes started to tighten up. The dude who did it was clumsy and didn't seem to know what the hell he was doing - several times dropping the rings, and then wrenching my ears & nose into painful contorted positions. It was on me that I didn't just get up and walk out. But I was being "nice," like an idiot. The dude even tried to convince me that several of the holes, which I've had for a decade or more, had already closed up - a mere 8 DAYS after my surgery - and asserted that they would have to charge me more to re-pierce those spots. I insisted on trying those holes myself with a needle, and "voila!" no issue getting through whatsoever. Scammers, and not even good ones. When I got home and could take a better look, it was apparent that many of the hoops had not been fully closed, and those that had been closed were terribly misaligned, with the ends overlapping. I had to go to a REAL piercing studio the next day and have most of them redone. Several of the hoops had been so badly bent into what the professional piercer called "pointy little football shapes" that they couldn't be salvaged, and I had to buy new surgical steel jewelry. Friday February 3rd I went there to get a tattoo from Mr Rodriguez and it looks like a 6-year-old Drew on my arm the worst tattoo ever and he's heavy-handed that he'll put you in a lot of pain for 3 hours I sat while this man dig into my arm I wanted to go home and really look at it and have other people tell me that it sucks so even had other tattoo artists say it sucks so when it heals I'm going to get it covered up hopefully but do not go to this place paid money to get a 6-year-old painting of a lion head... got a Christina piercing done In January along with nipple piercings. My nipples were pierced before so he just did the piercing where the older holes were and they were fine. The Christina piercing was a brand new piercing. First thing is it was too low. I wasn't really crazy about it because it was already done so there's nothing i could do. Second thing is that it was NOT in the middle. It is very easy when you're looking at something straight to find the middle. It doesn't have to be perfect (even though im paying enough money for it to be) but somewhat close. The piercing was so off that when i really looked at it 2 days later I cried and thought about taking it off but it was so painful that I felt i should have just stuck with it. But the worst part issss. That since the piercing was at an incorrect angle it was putting pressure and created a bump. So i treated the bump with what they gave me which was salt water and tea tree oil. And it seemed to have made it worse. In the end i had to take out the piercing and now I have a bum and scar tissue behind the piercing because of the pressure from the piercing. I also went to a gynecologist to confirm this if the bump does not go away in 3-4 weeks i will have to remove the scar tissue surgically according to my doctor. Thank you. Never again. read more

Just got my cartilage pierced here. The manager asked me to wait for a while as my piercer was outlining a tat for someone. No problem. The piercer wore gloves, the needle was new in a package and he cleaned the stud as well as my ear beforehand. He gave me instructions on how to care for my piercing and told me to come back and ask for him if I had any issues. Awesome! Thanks Gio! read more

I first went to Red Dragon in January 2015 to get my back tattoo fixed/covered by Manny, who I was recommended to by a friend. The experience then was great... but I was told that my tattoo needed a second session. I have been basically begging Manny to secure this second session since January. IT IS NOVEMBER 2015. I have had to basically stalk this man, from calling, texting, DMing on Instagram... everything. I even went into Red Dragon, got a whole new tattoo by another amazing artist and piercings... and still NO Manny. I've been so patient but I've had it. It's been so frustrating being dealt with so unprofessionally by the owner of the whole shop. I feel devalued-- I am not sure what it is about me that doesn't deserve professionalism or if that's just how RD operates but I am disappointed. read more

I just got a back piece done here 8/18/13 by Lenin Rios and I couldn't be more pleased. The tat is beautiful and far surpasses my original vision of the picture I brought in to customize. Lenin kept the basic flower design, but added a background and his own individual stamp and artistry to make the tat pop.The price, too, was very reasonable for the labor and overall size of the tat. The parlor itself is comfortable, clean and welcoming and the staff is laidback and friendly. I enjoyed the music they played during my session.There was just a little more traffic in the room Lenin used than I would have liked as it was also the room where piercings are done and there were a few customers who came in for piercings while I was having my tat done. Otherwise, I loved the service and would definitely recommend it and return for any future tats, especially if I can get Lenin as my artist. read more

I went to get my lip pierced. I already had the other side done. It wasn't a horrible experience but unfortunately my right side doesn't match my left and it is infected. Now I know it isn't all their fault but I have had my face pierced a lot. Like a lot a lot and this hasn't happened before. So I am extremely concerned. Not just because it doesn't match my left side at all but because it is looking really bad. I am very disappointed. The guy who did it was super cool but his hand were shaking a lot. But I was already in the seat so I said fuck it. Since I didn't think it would be hard to do. Not going to risk coming to this place again. Should have tried one of the other 3 places near by. I had been to two other tattoo shops in the area before coming to Red Dragon and this is by far my favorite. Aesthetics wise, the store looks a lot cleaner and is more put together than other tattoo shops in the area. The atmosphere is GREAT, everyone that works here is very welcoming and funny. I always have a good time when I come into the shop. The price is more than reasonable, especially compared to the shops in Manhattan. I have gotten two tattoos by Make Valentine, one being a cover-up. I was more than ecstatic when he finished the cover-up because I was embarrassed before to be in a bathing suit but he made my tattoo beautiful. And it actually looks like a damn feather now. The other was a fresh tattoo that also came out great. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and he went above and beyond with his own version of it. I also got my tongue repierced by Ed. Ed is great, he talked with me while setting up and before I knew it I had a bar through my tongue! I thought it was going to painful unlike the first time since it would be going through scar tissue, but he did it so fast I really didn't feel much. Ed also gave me helpful advice on some dermals I had gotten at another shop that weren't healing correctly. Overall great experience here, and will continue to come back. read more

I walked in with my best friend just checking out prices and browsing. after not being impressed with the other parlors on the same strip, i came back, and asked the artist to free hand my tattoo. too many artist are willing to just print out a computer drawing and trace over it, so i really wanted to see what they could do on their own. I loved my tattoo. The parlor was very very clean and neat and all the supplies were clean and kept in labeled containers. i don't remember my artist name, but he was not only handsome, but he wasn't heavy handed and made me feel at ease. Very professional and prices seem reasonable. there is a 50 dollar minimum, and i forked it out for only a four letter word but like the sign in the shop says: good tattoo's arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent good. read more

I've been here a few times over the years, for both tats and piercings. What I like about RD is that the shop is SUPER clean, and the owner, Manny, is awesome. He fixed my piercing that was jacked up by a former employee. My last tat there was done by Mike (who is on "Ink Masters" this season). He was a bit TOO serious for me, but his work is good. I came her for a tongue piercing and the guy was super suspicous and weird as hell. He pierced my tongue without a clamp. I asked him why and he said he just does it that way for 6 years. I found that very ODD. When i was done he just said "thanks" and walked off without even telling me how to take care of the piercing . I was like hello How do i take care of it? Yet Rain messed up my girlfriend tattoo. He was suppose to put a lotus flower on her neck,yet he put a colorful shit turd instead that opens up at the end. This place was SUPER! clean and the guy who pierced me his name was Jay and he was just so gentle and comforting. I think I wouldn't go anywhere else from now on. Displeased with the outcome of my tattoo by the owner Manny. He convinced me he does great freehand tattoos and we agreed on a piece that would be exceptional to cover up an old tattoo. He claimed all his work he doesn't stencil (my mistake for letting him continue) and that all his work is great. Unfortunately it was the opposite, he botched my tattoo of jesus and I was given something I didn't want. I don't care what the excuse is you messed up on a piece that's on my arm for LIFE. You didn't stencil a portrait. What artist doesn't stencil portraits? The piece is still not finished and I'm disappointed with his customer service. Why would I go back to get the tattoo fixed by the place that screwed it up in the first place? smh. The worst part is I still had to pay. I paid for something I didn't want. read more
