This pizza joint in Lansing North Carolina has been out of business since hurricane Helene devastated the area about a year and a half ago and we have been more than patiently waiting for it to reopen. It finally did and as luck would have it we were in the area this weekend and we're delighted to be able to enjoy not one but two pizzas. This is easily the best pizza joint in all of Ashe county and you would have to travel a ways to find better Pizza. Add that to the heartwarming story of how they struggled since Helene and finally reopened and this is just a place that if you're anywhere near this area you must come and get a pizza. Now I will say they're still not at full operation and you should be prepared to wait but as luck would have it there are some amazing shops that we love in the area there's an amazing supermarket and you can go next door and enjoy some coffee or tea or you can head to Molly chompers and get some hard cider but it'll be worth the wait for your pizzas. We had the chicken dinner pizza and the barbecue chicken pizza and the flavor of both was just extraordinary the only thing I wish is that the crust were a little crispier but taste is way more important to me.
