When I walked in I asked him to be honest and let me know if he could repair and if it was worth fixing ! He was honest and a jokesters saying, "if I didn't return he could sell it for a good price". He stated the work would be completed the next day. He did an amazing job he reinforced each handle and reinforced the handles that were not damaged. Looking at the bag now you can't tell which one was broken. The price to repair was reasonable. I couldn't have gotten a new bag for the price he charged. I would recommend him and the business to anyone that needs leather repair. A true craftsman!

I would not recommend George's shoe repair for leather bag repair. I took in a vintage Coach bag…read morefor a simple binding patch, they inspected the bag and told me that they could make the repair. I left the bag and they told me to come back the next day. I return to pick up my bag 24 hours later and it is not ready and they have not even started the repair. The man tells me to come back in half an hour. I return almost an hour later and they are still working on the bag. I wait another 45 mins and they bring me the bag. The bag was patched in the most Half hazard way, the stitches are crooked, the patch on one side is not even attached to the bag on on end.
