I've been a longtime fan of Red Lobster, which made this visit especially disappointing. Service was very slow from the start, with about 10 minutes before we were greeted and nearly an hour wait for food with no updates from our server. When the meals arrived, several were incomplete or incorrect, then arrived cold, and I had to request missing items multiple times before they were brought out. The "endless shrimp" promotion was not well executed, as our one addition order took so long they arrived after dessert and the check. To top it off, we were incorrectly charged $14 for items we did not order. Overall, we were there for 2 hours and 15 minutes and left very disappointed with both the service and accuracy of our order. Today at lunch we received the best customer service. The friendly hostess seated us immediately. Sawyer was our server and was he was great. He had the best personality and seemed like he really cared about his job. You hardly ever find that anymore. He brought us hot biscuits while we were figuring out entrees. Their biscuits is a must if you're dining here. I could make a meal out of them. I love their Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. It's my go-to here. I have not been here in years maybe 4. The food & atmosphere had fell off. After realizing so many changes. We decided to come to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When we walked in the hostess was so welcoming it started the vibes great. She asked if we were celebrating anything and we told her. Our waiter Luke was just so cool, attentive & great. The hubs and I decided to have a seafood night. I can't tell you how long it's been since I've eaten at Red Lobster. Since it was LobsterFest time we had to dine in. Everything was delicious. The garlic biscuits were fluffy and hot, my house salad was fresh. We ordered crab stuffed mushrooms. Chefs kiss. Our entrees came out piping hot and I enjoyed the whole experience. Have not visited this "Burgundy Crustacean" in awhile now that the Academy location had closed. We both ordered the Friday fish and chips with lobster bisque for her and a Caesar salad for me. The appetizers were just fine and the biscuits are hard to beat. Then the main course comes out. Our fish looked like a burrito because of all the batter that had been applied before frying. IN fact there was so much batter that it had not cooked all the way through (the fish was done). Too much batter holds onto grease and that is what we had. the fries, iced tea, and service were all great. The lighting in the restaurant is not great, especially in the ladies room. And we saw a lack of cleanliness around the restaurant...a lot of dust and dirty porthole windows. After this visit we will not be back. We can get better fish and chips at Long John Silvers or Captain D's and pay a lot less. read more

We went on a Sunday evening and we were seated right away since the restaurant wasn't very busy. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often. The menu seems a bit smaller now since when I was here last, years ago. Offerings are still good though, they still have the classic seafood/surf & turf platters and pasta options. The kids menu offerings did not appeal to my daughter, so I just ordered the Garlic Linguini Alfredo for her. It's a nice sized side portion of pasta. Odd that it wasn't listed on the hard menu in the restaurant, only on the online menu, under 'Biscuits & Extras.' I ordered the flounder sandwich and my husband ordered the Surf & Turf Sirloin with Walt's Favorite Shrimp. Everything was cooked nicely and all of our food came out hot. We ordered the Seafood Boil. It's new on the menu. I was told it's all over TikTok. You get crab, lobster, shrimp, corn on the cob and red potatoes comes hot in a bag with your choice of flavors roasted garlic butter or Cajun. We choose roasted garlic butter. The waiter shook the bag of hot seafood and rolled the bag down. There was a bib and gloves but we didn't need that. We just went in and started eating. It was delicious. I highly recommend you leave the seafood in the bag because it's hot and there's lots of roasted garlic butter. Our waiter/server was great. We received excellent service. The restaurant was nice. Lobster flatbread: thumbs down. I eagerly anticipated engaging in a delightful conversation over a delicious lobster snack before the main course arrived. It did not happen; the only thing we could taste was the tomatoes; the cheese was tasteless; we saw it, but it had no flavor, nor did the seafood. Very disapointing. The S&T Sirloin Maine Tail Steak came just as I ordered, with a wonderful flavor; the lobster came out rubbery, with very little flavor. Crispy Brussels sprouts were anything but crispy; they should never use the sauce they put on them; it not only tastes terrible but also mushed the crispy texture of the Brussels sprouts, turning them into a mushy, sour mess. Yvonne V made everything run smoothly; she was friendly, helpful, ready for a quick chat, and responded quickly. I eagerly anticipate a legislative shift that eliminates tip taxes; ideally, it will also mandate a minimum wage for them, enabling them to fully value the tips they receive. The reason for four stars in stead of two, is because of Yvonne. When I spend over a hundred I do expect a five star lunch. read more

This was a Monday at 11am, not a busy Saturday night. I spent 1hr. getting 1.5C of crab out of 1.5lbs of snow crab legs. What a waste of money! Our waitress never once came to check on us. She only came by to give us the check. No prices on any of the drinks! I've never seen that before. Who does that? I'm sick that I spent $70. and all the way around it was terrible. This was the worst experience I have ever had at Red Lobster. The table was dirty and sticky, and Kaitlyn M, the waitress, frowned and tried to ignore our party the entire time we were there. It was my grand daughters birthday, she didn't even acknowledge or sing Happy birthday to her. She served me a rotten lobster tail and acted like it was my fault. When she finally came back, she stated all of them were like that. I recommend don't go there and run if she is your waitress. I am sorry I gave her a good tip. UPDATE: I got a call from the new GM, Kim H. He didn't apologize, but did state he was a new GM and didn't know this was going on. (Could he not see the dirty windows and tables? Or that people stood around joking with each other rather than working?). He stated that since Red Lobster is in bankruptcy, he couldn't offer anything, but told me to let him know when I come back in. 15 Sept 23 not a good night at the lobster ..... picked up an on-line order and the snow crab was missing ..... called the place 5 times and the manager failed to pick up each time ...... wife drove back down and found the rest of our order sitting waiting for our pickup ..... instead of giving us new product, the manager gave her the food that had been sitting for half an hour ...... needles to say it and the food back at the house was cold ..... capt dee's would have been a better experience...... kudos to Laura for offering a couple of deserts free of charge .......we had already purchased desserts so I turned them down ....... did the manager offer a comp to the wife ...... he did not ..... i suggest a manager change is in order ...... read more

Always like going to red lobster but don't think I will again after the experience I had. Server only came up to our table maybe 3 times to get our drinks, order, and check but nothing else. Never received check in to see how the food was prepared to our liking until the check came by. Food took well over 45 mins to close to an hour to get plates for two people all the while an 8 person table is getting most of the attention/service. After we had finally received our food it was cold and subpar at best. Which for a $110 bill for two plates I believe should be better prepared. Will not recommend this restaurant and will never return. Other options for the same price point that actually is up to the correct standards for service and food. Sad day. read more
