We weee greeted when we entered and taken to our seat. Out waitress was very nice, attentive and very polite. She did an awesome job with the kiddos and they liked her. Here with the kiddos today because they wanted to come here for lunch.. They love the fact that they can have variety. They like being in control of their portion and choice of foods. Kenn and I got sweet tea with lemon and the kiddos got water, Dr Pepper, and sweet tea. The kids loved everything the chose. So I'm happy that they was happy and enjoyed themselves. Izzy really loved the shrimp and the sweet biscuits as he calls them. Cupcake liked everything especially the spring rolls and sushi. Kerri really loves the lomein and the jello and egg rolls. The first time we went, this place wasn't too bad. The diversity in food was fine, and the sushi only looked mildly questionable. I like the slightly more authentic Chinese food that is hard to come by in the Springs (but not that much more authentic than Panda Express). The second time, however, gave both my partner and me some tummy troubles. Our entire party was celebrating a friend's promotion, and they were the only one to come out unscathed. I was a little surprised it wasn't busier when we showed up, but it definitely filled while we were there, and people were waiting when we left. The size and selection is the hallmark of this place. I actually thought the quality and temps were better than on my previous visit. My wife commented her first plate was rather lukewarm, but the temps were better on her second plate. One daughter thought everything was good, while the other thought what she had was just fair. They've still got the chocolate fountain for dessert, which is nice. Service wasn't great overall. Multiple times we had to move our empty plates to another table to get them out of the way. Drinks sat empty until we asked for refills. We also only got two straws, even though there were four of us, so weird we had to ask for more. Me and three friends decided to eat here and thoroughly regretted it. From the moment we were sat, we were getting weird looks, but we decided to ignore it. as we kept eating and having a good time, a girl eventually came up to us and told us we had 20 minutes left. We said ok and continued eating our meal and then when she came over to remind us that we had five minutes left, she said "we have all been watching you and we will continue watching you. we have camera everywhere and they've been recording you this entire time so if you try to run we will file a police report" we understood that teens have a bad reputation but we told her that we understand and will pay and she continued to harass us because she assumed we wouldn't pay. After we stacked our plates and paid our full prices, they continued to glare at us as they kicked us out. Once we were outside my friend began to feel sick and threw up in the parking lot, and as we tried to clean up my friend and make sure he was ok, the employees were watching us and taking pictures of us in crisis through the window. We paid for all of the mediocre food we ate (everything tasted extremely bland and dry) and they still discriminated and harassed us. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. P.S. Ultimate Buffet is a clean and satisfactory buffet that serves up a good variety of American and Asian cuisine. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating when it came to clearing out our plates and refilling our drinks. This is definitely a good place to come eat a variety of different types of food! I haven't been here in awhile and decided that I should try it out since I was on this side of town. There was a line at the sushi bar and it wasn't a long wait. I think I waited approximately 2 mins to get some fresh sushi. Next to the sushi bar was the 5 different types of shrimp that was served and crawfish. I didn't have any crawfish this visit but they kept the trays filled. We had a very attentive waiter and everytime we stood up, he was there asking if we needed him to take dishes off the table. My glass of Diet Pepsi stayed full and I never had to motion to him to refill it. Over all I think this will be my go to for buffet if I'm wanting to get a variety of seafood dishes! read more

We used to go to Ultimate Buffet once a month. This last time I noticed some changes. They were not busy on Saturday around noon. The sushi rolls have shrunk. The beef stir fry with onions tasted funny, the coated fried shrimp were greasy, the seafood dish had a lot less cray fish and very little squid. They charge more on weekends but the deserts were dismal and nothing extra for the chocolate fountain but rice crispy treats and generic marshmallows. The hot and sour soup used to be my favorite but this time it was not good at all. The service slipped, dirty plates sitting on the table for a long time while our server played on his phone. Me and my buddies including my buddy eric took a lil buddies trip to colorado and after being snowstormed in the house for a day with nothing but water and eggs we decided to treat ourselves to sum ultimate (I am the one, don't weigh a ton don't need a gun to get respect up on the street ogey) buffet! My experience at this establishment was to say the least weird. I felt uneasy, as we were walking to our table we pass the waiter station. There's a gentlemen watching as we go to our table there are three of us ladies. As I walk by him his eyes just weren't right to me. We went on with our meal and the entire time he is asking if we want more Dr Pepper and always looking at me. I decline the entire meal until the end. Received the drink and it tasted different, sipped a few times and proceeded to check out, as we are walking to the pay station up front he grabs the ticket from the lady who was paying and led us to the front. Outside a car flash its light and pulls in front of my car. I'm grateful for the dentist across the way was heading to his car almost hit him stopped I think they had words and the car sped off. On my drive home I'm getting dizzy and more dizzy. We get home at 6 I'm so dizzy and exhausted I layed in my bed and passed out until 4:00 in the morning. I feel like a trafficking ring is going on I feel like I was drugged and almost kidnapped... I'm so thankful for the guy ending his day in the parking lot with us he probably saved my life!! The only redeeming quality for this restaurant is the service. They were always at our table taking care of us: removing plates, filling waters, making sure we're happy. The food is what you would see at a normal buffet but had nothing actually edible. Everything was frozen, gray, or touched (especially the chocolate fountain). Visited on a Sunday, the place was packed. Waited about 15 minutes for a table for 6, not bad. The food tasted good, nothing that I tried was bad. All the food was hot, and they continuously keep bringing hot dishes from the kitchen to replace the almost empty trays. They served a lot of crab legs when I was there. They have all the classic Chinese style buffet food that you can think of, including sushi, a live grill with BBQ ribs, steak and shish kebab, and soft serve ice cream with a big varieties of dessert.
