My food came out missing the corn and potatoes which the manager promptly apologized for and gave me a discount. But if you like a good crab boil skip RL and go to another place specializing in boils. I tried the mix of all seasonings and it taste like just butter with parsley. No flavor depth at all! We were there for the endless shrimp. Got there at 4 pm and we left around 6:30 pm. Only got to order the second time around because it took about 45 minutes for our food to come out. The "Endless Shrimp" and the "Sesame Soy Salad" were our entre choices, they were delicious, just the right temperature to dig right in, mouth watering! I like how Red Lobster brings out bread rolls before dinner, nice touch! Rolls were covered to remain hot all during our meal. Don't let the recent 1 star ratings keep you for trying it again to form your own opinion! I told the host Red Lobster is all over our social media and he said "Oh, I know!", so we had high expectations. We had a great experience! Our server Shenequa took excellent care of us! We had the Coconut Shrimp appetizer and it was the right amount of breading to shrimp ratio. My husband had the Mariners Boil and it was good, but he did say it was expensive for what you get - a baby lobster tail and one small crab leg cluster. First time having Red Lobster in years and I was disappointed in this location. I tried the new salt and vinegar shrimp and was disappointed in the quantity. If I counted correctly, I may have received 5 pieces. The flavor was different, I probably would not order it again. The shrimp scampi was flavor. I did appreciate it being packaged separately. This location consistently has issues. I attempted to go today with my family and the lobby was packed with people waiting to be seated, however the seats were empty with only a few people eating. I asked what was the wait for 3 people as I stared at over a dozen empty booths that were directly behind the hostess. They stated the wait will be 30-40 minutes and I asked why, they didn't respond. We are at Red Lobster on Two Notch rd on Wednesday evening. It is around 9:11 p.m. We already had to wait while before being seated. Then we get seated, my husband orders clam chowder and the waitress brings it back refrigerated cold, cold as it can be. Now, who serves cold clam chowder? I am reporting this to corporate. My friend & I visited the Red Lobster on Two Notch Rd, Columbia SC. We were so disappointed from the door. First we had to wait several minutes before a hostess assisted. Secondly, we were told it was about a 35 minute wait. We'll we actually waited an hr. Third, once we received our food, it was very subpar. The crablegs & shrimp was over cooked. The pasta didn't have any flavor and it was very cold. And as a parting gift, we both ended up with diarrhea. SMH!!! read more

The server, male assistant, and manager were most rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional in the way they treated a repeat customer. They treated the customer in a derogatory, demeaning, and disrespectful manner. I was trying to place an order and use an earned reward. They acted like I expected to use reward before earning it. First time visit for this location. Upon arriving and walking inside, I was impressed that this is a decent sized Red Lobster. The bar is centrally located in the middle of the restaurant, with an open-room concept feel. We don't drink, but the bar seems large, well stocked, and with several tv screens for the people who like to eat at the bar and drink watch sports. Later in the evening, the bar area seems more of a place for the locals to hang. I immediately noticed this location was super busy, but there were numerous waiters on the floor. Our waitress greeted us promptly and politely and took our orders. She encouraged us if we were getting their endless shrimp special to place our extra orders fast, as their kitchen was very busy with large parties in the restaurant. We waited for at least 30-35 minutes before our meals came to the table. Our meals arrived lukewarm. There was hardly no butter in the buttered garlic shrimp, so we requested hot butter thinking this would help. The butter came out cold. The Manager came to our table, apologized, and told us our plates were being made completely over. While we did get hot "refills", we didn't get full plates. I had to request another baked potato, but unfortunately the second one was cold too. No worries....the microwave can warm that. The manager was polite and respectful enough to check on us after we were finished. No discounts for the inconvenience of waiting, then waiting for almost everything to come out again, but our server, Nicole, was wonderful. Overall they made it good for us and we left full. I had, quite possibly, the worst meal I've ever had. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting much, but I definitely expected better. My husband and I both ordered shrimp Alfredo and it was some of the worst Alfredo I've ever tasted. The shrimp tasted like it had sat in boiled water all day long and the sauce tasted like a cheap jarred sauce that was heavily diluted with said boiled water. It was absolutely disgusting. Our service was also very poor. The table next to us had a fabulous server who was very attentive and even checked on us at one point.
