My honest review my favorite thing to get is the fried whiting and okra. I do love the mussels but not my favorite. The fried okra and whiting is good NEVER NOT 1 time have I had any bad fish or okra. I use to get the garlic shrimp but there have been too many times that it has become a hit and miss. somedays the shrimp is cooked to perfection other days the shrimp is over cooked. We ate in and were offered plastic utensils and had to go back and beg for one claw cracker for the table - four of us were having crab. The seafood here is delicious. We ordered the shrimp platter, that came with hush puppies and fries and the bream and shrimp platter that also came with fries and hush puppies. Everything was seasoned, flavorful and the portions were enough that i could not eat it all. We were greeted warmly and the staff was polite and friendly. We have visited the Mr. Seafood off of Two Notch and are thrilled we have one on this side of town now! My husband and I were in the mood for fried fish. We went in about 10 minutes after they opened and about four people had already ordered. The young lady at the counter took our order. She was very nice and made sure we knew about the different options for lemonade. I got the pina colada lemonade. I got the fried whiting and my husband got the fried flounder. This is the way fix is supposed to be fried! The breading wasn't thick and it had a good crisp on it. They are definitely going to be our spot for fried fish. I forgot to take pictures of the food! We did do carry out. Our wait was around 15 minutes, but our food was good and hot, fresh out the grease! The inside was very clean and welcoming. We will be back for the seafood boil. Service: You walk in and have to order at the counter. The menu is basic fried fish, fried oysters, crab legs with special sauce, platters, and some sides. Nothing really interesting upon first impression. My mom and I ordered, they do give a military discount. We ordered the garlic crab legs one order each, fried oysters that were one order each, butter corn cob, and mussels. It is self seat, so we found a table after enduring a very sticky floor. Our orders came out within 10 to 15 minutes in take out trays, so the assumption is that a customer is not staying to eat. I was missing a garlic crab order which is $33.00, so I am glad we were eating at the establishment. They were nice to bring it to our table when it was ready. The food was just okay in my opinion. The crab legs were pretty tasty but very hard to navigate since you only get a breaker. One per a table by the way. No picker or scissors and no lemon. The oyster, my mom and I both agreed were very salty. The mussels should have stayed in the back, dry and nasty was my opinion. Mom liked the corn on the cob but felt it was too spicy. Overall, the food did not meet my standard. It was food truck quality and the establishment still operates in food truck capacity. They don't give hand wipes, nothing to crack crab legs, no lemon, and plastic ware is your only choice. You get a sauce choice but I didn't find anything I liked. I would rate the food a 2 out of 5. Flavor was there for garlic sauce but over seasoned oysters and spicy corn that should just be buttery, is not good. Customer service: We went an hour and a half before closing. I give it a 3 out of 5. The cashier was kind and seemed patient, as I forgot my order when I got to the register. She was very helpful in getting the missed crab order. I only gave it 3 because I felt that the establishment operated as food truck. For example, when they started closing, they mopped the floor and didn't let anyone go to the bathroom to wash their hands. They had a fit when the trash was emptied and they thought someone dumped their trash, also, they started turning out lights when there were still customers eating and it just felt rushed and weird. Ambience: expect food truck quality and service. I hate to say it but this place needs to retrain on how to run a restaurant if they want to stay open. The seafood sauce demand will run dry at some point. They need to revamp their service to cater to indoor dining, unless it is their goal to be a takeout only spot. Overall: Would I go again? Nope. Was the food good? It was decent My visit to Mr. Seafood was based on what my mom wanted to try out for her birthday, she even dressed up. But, getting there and eating, it was a total disappointment. The only reason I rate it a 2out of 5, is for the cashier and her outstanding customer service. read more

Dinner I $20-30 I decided to try Mr. Seafood to see what allthe hype was about because the pictures were mouthwatering and the portions were / looked to be more than enough. We became interested in Mr. Seafood from pictures we saw online, and the food exceeded our expectations. These were some of the best crab legs we've ever had! The seasoning and flavor of the crab legs were amazing! Not only were we pleased with the food, but both the price and the service were great. If you eat crab legs a lot, you know it isn't cheap, but this price was very reasonable considering the level of quality of the food.
