Tonight was spur of the moment since I had a couple of Red Lobster gift cards that I need to get rid of and thought what the heck, why not get that for dinner. I got the crap alfredo with a side of waltz's shrimp and a baked potato. I also got seafood stuffed mushrooms and extra biscuits. Everything was prepared and cooked PERFECTLY. My online order said my order would be ready around 7:16 PM but I got there at 7:00 and everything was prepared, that's great! I was greeted at the door and a young lady walked me in, asked how my day was and how many I had to be seated. I told her I had an online order and she directed me to the window. She even left afterwards to go inform the carry out team member I arrived. Destiny N was my carry out hostess. She was quick and patient, even after having to get a manager to manually type in the gift card. While I briefly waited I noticed the place was spotless, something that's often looked over in front of house. Destiny repeated everything I ordered as she put it in my bag. The process was so quick and seamless on my end. I live downtown and I had left, gotten to RL, and was back home in 25 minutes. My partner couldn't believe it. It was 7pm on a Sunday which I know can be dinner rush and hectic but everyone at the front of the restaurant was prompt and kind from the hostesses to Destiny N. They need to close this location. Walked in the door no hostess one sad lobster in the tank. Waited for 10 minutes and. On one came out to seat me. No one was at the bar it was menus everywhere. Some you lady came picked up the menus slammed then down like she was pissed and walked right past me. If the workers have that kind of negative energy I don't want anything to eat or drink from this location. I walked right out you can tell it's the management at this location. The food was good and our server was great, however two members of my party ordered something from the bar and waited at least 45 minutes for the drinks to arrive due to the fact that no glasses could be found. There was a delay in getting our salads due to there were no chopped tomatoes. My sister ordered crab legs and according to our server all of the tools used to crack them were missing. I struggled whether or not to write this review. 1. I wanted to be sure my judgement was not clouded by the fact I am not a fan of chain restaurants 2. I didn't want to admit I had dined at a chain restaurant and 3. It was a Monday night My mother, who is in her mid 70's, was excited to treat the family to a "fancy" meal for the holidays. She had purchased a gift card for The Red Lobster (Giant Eagle fuel perks), having fond memories of dining there and hoping it would please the pescetarian in our group of five. From the beginning, those of us being "treated" were weary. As it turns out, we had reason to be. We arrived about 5:30 p.m. on December 22nd. From the moment we entered our dining area we ALL smelled an odor similar to urine, to the point it made some of us gag. One description offered by a family member was it may be the smell of seafood excrement. Not sure exactly what it was. We ordered anyway, because we were seated and didn't want to upset our Golden Girl. As it turned out, the food was okay. I probably had the best dish, being the fish tacos. They had run out of Tilapia, and used Flounder as a substitute in the tacos. (shoulder shrug here) The fried dishes, on the other had, were less appetizing. The hand dipped fried Shrimp in coconut flakes, tasted more like coconut, than shrimp. The accompanying Pina Colada sauce, is really sweet and should be reserved for those who truly love the stuff. As for the Fish and Chips entree, the fish (not sure what type?) was the size of a 4x6 picture frame. In other words, unnatural looking, frightful. If you are a pescetarian, use caution when ordering grilled shrimp as the grill may have had meat on it as well. On the positive side, after an alcoholic beverage, and the arrival of more customers, the foul odor was not as profound. Also, their signature, as much as you want, biscuits are still tasty, loaded with butter, garlic and cheese. Just as we were headed out, feeling somewhat relieved, there were RAISED VOICES coming from what appeared to be the kitchen area. So loud, one customer stood up to see what was happening and made a comment about employees being "rude"; several other customers stopped their conversations and turned to the direction of what can only be described as a VERBAL ALTERCATION BETWEEN EMPLOYEES. I saw one employee exit from the kitchen area, saying she had "nothing to do with that" and she was going to wait on her table. Now that was a performance we were not expecting! One star for the half of the food on my plate that i did enjoy. I won't be going back after last night. The service was slow and not very smart. Our drink and food orders were repeated back to us incorrectly (I asked for water, she was convinced I wanted iced tea) and then when we did get our food, we had no silverware, the mashed potatoes were cold, the steak was so over cooked it was like shoe leather and our crab legs didn't even show up. All this after waiting ten minutes to order and 40 for our food. The coconut shrimp were great as usual and the fried flounder was perfect. Now, the worst part about this place is that it is FILTHY! The seat and table they gave us were covered in crumbs. When I tried to use the salt and pepper, they were covered in grease or butter (ew) and the floors were covered in good sized food scraps. I actually watched a busser wipe a whole 6 top table (where small children had eaten) covered in scraps right onto the floor and leave it there. Good thing I was done eating... The food was super sub par. My biscuits were hard. The lobster pizza had no flavor and I bit into a shell twice. The entree was ok . I got the ultimate feast. The seafood was cooked well but my sides of mashed potatoes and rice had no taste. read more

Disappointing. Only live about 10 minutes from location and the last two times I visited the serves were slow and seemed to keep disappearing. We ended up having a server take over for our server because he kept disappearing and wouldn't help us. She was very nice and on top of getting us our orders and anything else we needed. This was my first time going to this particular red lobster in about 15 years. Last time I went it was dirty and the food was lack luster for the price. I took a chance and went back here with my friends and I have to say, it was a very pleasant surprise. The service was prompt and polite, very courteous. The food was hot and delicious. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night around 6 and glad we did. It was busy and thats good, but not so busy we had to wait forever to be seated. They sat us in the back alone, never a good sign and we waited a long time for someone to show up and greet us and take drink order. BY the time the drinks ( all water) came back e knew what we wanted, and the area had started filling up with guest. Then the next big wait started. We waited and waited for food, luckily the kids meal mats were entertaining. Food came out, its was hot and fresh, enjoyed it all. I had the endless shrimp , but the wait between new dish was so long I only had one more kind (wontons NASTY) But the kids had fun, we enjoyed the break off the freeway. After reading some reviews I was skeptical but since it was a family Birthday celebration party of 9 I had to go. Hostess and waitress were wonderful. No complaints from anyone in our party. Food was delicious. You can fill up on the cheese biscuits so be careful..they are magical. Clam chowder soup was best I ever had. Don't order the Endless shrimp unless you want an Endless wait. We both asked to put in orders for more when the meal came out and are still waiting 20 minutes after finishing the first course. We made reservations and still had to wait 30 min, then when it was our time our hostess sat there and talked to a customer that she seem to know. When we were finally led to be seated, I assumed the restaurant was packed because we waited on our reserved seats so long & half the place was empty!!! After we were seated it took 10 minutes for our waitress and she brought out their cheese biscuits before she asked for our soft drinks. We ordered our food and drinks and waited there an additional 15 without receiving our drinks so we just walked out. Service was HORRIBLE and it seemed like there no one was in charge. read more

Everytime i do carryout they use this big platter with no division compartments. So the food is all over the place. The clam chowder is very running. Don't think it's made there. You hire very good employees, always smiling and glad to be there. Oh and the sauces are running too. I would like to have the sauces and chowder made at the restaurant. Terrible service. My sister was cold from the ac blowing above her head. She asked the waitress named shante to raise the temperature a bit and got an attitude with us. My brother in law asked why the hell the ac was on during winter and she told him to not use that language. He said he could cuss if he wants and told her to stop being a bitch. The next thing we knew the cops was called on him for calling her a bad name. Sure it was distasteful but come on calling the cops is stupid. There was no yelling involved. Wish we had the ability to give half-stars. Solid 4 1/2! Late lunch today (I'm retired so I can go when places aren't too swamped.) Had the shrimp specials! Wonderful flavor, smallish shrimp. A little salty, but that's to be expected in a chain restaurant. Stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer were almost the best thing that happened to us here. The best thing was our server, Brittany. Lovely young lady whose smile was absolutely beautiful and sincere! Not obtrusive but more than willing to do anything it took the make us happy. We took 2 hours and chatted and ate. I want to start this review by saying that the customer service at this location was excellent. Now to the nitty gritty. I ordered the steak and shrimp at this location, It was suggested to me to try the New York strip, so I did. The food comes to the table and it looks wonderful. I tried the steak and right away noticed that they use a very cheap cut of meat but they charge a price like your getting quality meat; it's very tough and dry, though seasoned well I couldn't finish it. The shrimp could have been great, but the batter was bland, good shrimp can be eaten without cocktail sauce. I also had the rice pilaf which was good and a couple of garlic butter biscuits. My boyfriend & I were in the mood for seafood, so we hit up the Red Lobster. When we walked in, there wasn't anyone at the greeting station, then all of a sudden someone popped up and seated us. They were pleasant. We had a cozy little corner and our waitress was Kara. Nice young lady; clean uniform & her hair was up.....lots of people in the industry with long hair forget we don't want hair in our food. It was nice to see hers was contained. She took our order & the food came out nicely. No dirty dishes, the food was fresh and hot. My family brings my dad here for his birthday every year around Christmastime. Until this past year, they did not allow reservations, but they always managed to somehow accommodate our 15+ group. The staff is awesome, always attentive and accurate and willing to roll with the punches. The food is okay, definitely not upscale. The drinks are decent and we always have a good time. My dad loves it. The parking lot is big enough that we always find a spot even when they're busy. read more

Nine members of my family went to Red Lobster yesterday to celebrate Mother's Day. Upon arriving we were told that it was a 90-minute wait and we were okay with that. About 40 minutes later they said our table was ready. We were all seated ordered drinks and proceeded to place our order. After about an hour we inquired about our food and they said that it took more time to prepare the food for a table our size. We watched other tables of 2 & 4 be seated order and leave and we still had not received our food. An hour and a half after we ordered we finally received our food. Although they did not charge for our food it still was a sad Mother's Day for the service that we received here. read more

Red lobster is sometimes full of itself they told me it would be ten to fifteen min wait to seat while there were clearly many open tables. But I was seated after a couple minutes and ate a ton of endless shrimp with not a bad batch. You have to tell them ahead what kind you want next or you will wait. I went there with some friends and used the smart phone to reserve a table ahead of time. We got there and checked in and after waiting a while, my friend went up to the front desk and she was told it would be a 30 minute wait! She asked the manager what the point was of reserving a table ahead of time, then all of a sudden we were seated right away. There were a lot of empty tables so I didn't get that at all. This red lobster use to be my family's favorite place to have dinner! Last time we were here, we had a few mistakes but it was busy so we were understanding. Today is not busy at all, there are maybe two other tables aside from us. While waitresses are nice, the service isn't so great. Sat down and ordered the all you can eat shrimp and ordered a coke to drink. Was served the first plate with two sides, we were able to place out second serving of shrimp of our choice. After finishing the two small orders of garlic shrimp and a side of potatoes I then had to wait almost 35min for my order of garlic shrimp and linguini. Not to mention I needed a refill for my coke, hadn't had a refill since we placed our first order. This red lobster is/ use to be super nice fast and yummy! But now it's super nice, slow and nasty. All the shrimp tasted like it had been sitting for hours before served, our rolls were burnt and hard as a rock. We were on the road travelling back home on 8/11 and stopped at this Red Lobster expecting a tasty seafood dinner. This was the worst restaurant experience in my life from a personnel and customer service perspective. First let me say, the place was not overly busy. We were seated at a table in the bar area. A woman named Christy was working the bar area and eventually took drink orders. After a long wait, one cold drink was brought out but no coffee as ordered. We placed our orders anyway and waited, and waited, and waited. A different girl came by and said she would bring out some biscuits which never came, along with the coffee that never came. There seemed to be some conflict between Christy and another worker based on overheard conversation. After waiting over a half hour with no or very poor service, we told what appeared to be a supervisor that we were cancelling our order due to nonexistant service and we left. Christy was overheard loudly stating "awesome" when she was told we were leaving. If I were the manager, I would clean house at this restaurant and start by releiving Christy of the burden of having a job. This was simply inexcusable. No wonder this restaurant has a two star rating, which is at least one star too many. read more

When we arrived, there were two hostesses and our server standing there. We did not get greeted at all. The two hostesses argued about where we were going to be seated, after several seconds finally took us to our table. Our server was the only good part about this experience. I ordered the bar harbor bake, witch I get every time I go. My husband ordered the create your own. When our food came out our food was cold as can be and my seafood wasn't cooked. The only thing warm was his steak. We notified our server and she asked if there was anything I would want to eat and I asked for coconut shrimp. The manager came out to ask us what was going on without introducing herself. My husband stated how the food was cold and the steak was more rare than medium, and how he thinks maybe they messed up on the steak and had to recook it, being the only explanation on why it was the only warm item. She rudely question him on how it was supposed to be cooked. In the end result none of my husband food issues were resolved nor did anyone ask what they could do for him. When I told her how my seafood wasn't cooked she didn't bother looking at it nor did she apologize. she stated that she was the head of house manager and she would notify the cook manager and have that manager come speak to us. She went to the kitchen to retrieve my food and brought it out to me. The food was warm this time but I had lost my appetite. The manager never came back to check on us. As we were leaving I asked the hostess if I could speak to the cook manager and she informed me that the cook manager was not working today. When I told my husband that we had been lied to about the other manager working he decided to call. He talked to the same manager that had talked to us earlier and asked why she never came back to check on us and he felt that it was bad costumer service. She said with an attitude that if we were not happy with the way she handled things that we could call back on Saturday and speak to her GM. She then said have a nice day goodbye and hung up before he could say anything else. For $52 I expected a better experience. I used to work at red lobster and I don't ever remember anyone having this experience. I also have worked the the GM Aaron and I know he would not like his restaurant ran this way. I waited for a table as opposed to the bar, so that I could enjoy better service. I understand it would be more convenient for a single diner to eat at the bar, but I'm entitled to sitting at a table too. My waiter introduced himself, took my drink (water) order, and walked away. As he did, he sarcastically thanked the hostess for hooking him up and giving him another "one top." What he didn't realize is this one top heard that, and this one top is (was) a very generous tipper. My appetizer was slid under my face as I was reading a book, and he was gone before I even got a chance to look up. Never once did he stop to see how my meal was, my water refill was a drop and run. When he finally stopped long enough to see if I needed anything, I asked for the bill and a box. The box came, and then the bill came, under a bag. I paid my bill, rounded the tip off to the next dollar and left. I asked to speak to a manager on the way out, I didn't need the other diners hearing what was going on. The manager came to me, I explained the above, and his first response was, can I give you a gift certificate? I wasn't doing this for free food-or I would have carried on in front of an audience. It's no one's business why someone goes to dinner alone, and that lack of compassion/rudeness can ruin someone's day. I should know. I left in tears, and that is so unacceptable. I was disappointed with the service today. It was very slow and the waitress didn't check in with us. I had to wave her down several times for drink refills and every extra drink cup and bread plate was left on the table. Since it was the Sunday before Veterans Day, I asked if they were running a Veterans promotion. The waitress didn't seem to even know what Veterans Day was, and directed me to the website. We (2 of us) went yesterday afternoon - first thing I noticed was a non-nice odor at the booth we were led to. I ignored that since I was in a very good mood. My friend ordered a glass of ice water (along with our drinks) - but the waitress never brought his ice water until we asked her like 10 more times! We both agreed that our drinks were great (Margherita & Bahama Mama) and we ordered an appetizer (calamari) along with our main course and the next thing the waitress brought (to my friend) was a little bowl of coleslaw. The appetizer never came (I actually forgot about it myself) and we ordered a 2nd round of drinks (good again) then our meals came - we both happened to order the same dish (Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops) - the first thing I noticed is that everything on the plate was small or tiny lol. So I was disappointed (to me it was not worth the steep-ish price). My 2 sides (green beans & rice) were both good. We reminded our waitress that we never got our appetizer (I won't name her). After we finished our main course she showed up with the appetizer- but in a shopping bag (even though I never asked for it to be "to go"). I shrugged my shoulders and told her I needed to order desserts (to go). She gave us an extra dessert which was nice (I ordered 4). At home I was impressed with the dessert I ate (key lime pie) but it too was on the small side. Too bad the service was lacking and the portions/sizes were small. I think a better name for them is "Kid's Lobster" - I can't take RL very seriously. Now for the drinks, I give them 4 stars! The next time I want to eat out and have seafood - I will try and find a "real" seafood restaurant. I was again hungry about 2 or 3 hours after going to RL and I heated up some left over pizza to feel full. read more
